Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, ID is hiring a Protection Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Position Highlights and Benefits:
- Schedule Information: This position will be scheduled as needed for 12-hour shifts on both days and nights.
- This is a non-benefited position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous security or military experience preferred but not required.
- Must have active driving privileges. If, during the course of employment, driving privileges change or colleague receives a driving citation, the colleague is required to notify their supervisor and/or HR.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain a secured environment in disasters, fires and/or bomb threats.
- Interact daily with public regarding safety, visitor control, thefts, and any security problems that might arise.
- Confront strangers and either directs them to the proper area or escorts them off the medical center campus.
- Conducts package inspection and checks property leaving the facility for proper authorization.
- Reports vulnerable situations, hazards, and/or equipment malfunctions to the proper department or persons for corrective action.
- Checks employee and service personnel for proper I.D.
- In order to protect patients, visitors, and staff, Security staff may be required to physically restrain a person with the amount of force necessary for the protection of all persons involved in a combative situation.
- Operates motor vehicle, two-way radio, camera, and electronic surveillance equipment and demonstrates basic computer skills.

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is looking to hire a certified Nursing Assistant to join our incredible nursing team.
Schedule: Three shifts per week, 7:00pm-7:30am, must be available to work a varied schedule (weekdays, weekends, and holidays).
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- You will support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
- You will perform various nursing care services and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients, as those of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) under the direction and supervision of the licensed nurse.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho OR complete the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program required.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
- Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric as applicable).

An ideal candidate will have previous experience in family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, internal medicine, or urgent care, will be highly dependable and reliable and have solid experience with immunizations and phlebotomy.
You will enjoy working with elderly patients and have experience communicating with this patient population.
You will also have strong self-initiative and communication skills, a positive attitude, and be a team player - willing to assist in all areas of the clinic.
Epic experience is a plus.
Work Schedule:

- This PRN MA position will be supporting Locums providers and Staff PTO who are working at both the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OBGYN clinics in Canyon County and possibly Ontario.
- This is a PRN position, so it will not qualify for any benefits.
- The OBGYN clinic sees a wide variety of patients and also has a good mix of providers, from OB surgeons to Gynecologists, to NPs/PAs.
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine specializes in the care of women with complicated, high-risk pregnancies. Our specialists provide consultation and co-management tailored to the patient's needs throughout pregnancy.
- We offer parents a wide array of choices with a full range of maternal services by mother-baby experts to make sure our patients get the care, pampering and keepsake moments they deserve.

What You Will Do:
- You will be supporting Locums providers and Staff PTO who are working at both the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OBGYN clinics in Canyon County and possibly Ontario.
- At the OBGYN clinic, you will assist in procedures such as colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, IUD placements/removals, and Nexplanon placements/removals.
- At the Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic, you will assist with occasional procedures such amniocentesis or CMVs, complete in-depth chart review to ensure that the provider has all details regarding patient pregnancy, and complete referrals and orders in the task inbox.
- You may also schedule surgeries, complete prior authorizations, and patient education for surgery/procedure prep.
- There will also be opportunities for you to perform blood draws, and also help RNs with patient calls.
- An ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an OB/GYN clinic and a passion for women's health.
- You will also have strong self-confidence as an MA, prior women's health experience, and surgery scheduling and prior authorization experience.

What you will do:

As a Phlebotomy Tech at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will perform the manual tasks involved with registering, ordering, proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all ages. Minimum Qualifications:

ONCOLOGY PHARMACIST
CANCER INSTITUTE
The Oncology Pharmacist plays a critical role in the multidisciplinary care team dedicated to supporting cancer patients. This position involves the safe and effective management of chemotherapy and other oncology-related medications, ensuring that patients receive the best possible therapeutic outcomes. The Oncology Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing and dispensing medication orders, providing expert guidance on drug interactions, side effects, and dosage adjustments, and offering patient education on proper medication use. In collaboration with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the Oncology Pharmacist works to optimize medication therapy, improve patient care, and enhance overall treatment efficacy.
Under a collaborative practice agreement, the Oncology Pharmacist is also empowered to independently manage certain clinical situations, such as adjusting supportive care regimens, monitoring patient responses, and making necessary interventions to ensure optimal outcomes. The purpose of this role is to ensure that oncology patients receive safe, effective, and personalized pharmaceutical care, supporting both their immediate treatment needs and long-term health outcomes.
HOURS: Four 10-hour shifts, weekly.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required. Residency strongly preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Pharmacist with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
- Must obtain license from the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- In depth knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy and medication use processes is required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a relevant pharmacy setting; residency may be accepted in lieu of three years experience.
- Relevant board certification is highly encouraged.
- Knowledge of standards of care for oncology patients is required.
- Within 6 months of hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)

This position is fully remote. It is full time, 40 hours a week, and is benefit eligible.
The Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist will be responsible for the creation and/or compilation of educational materials and conducting coding and documentation education with providers, the clinic care team and coding/billing staff The Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist may also conduct medical record audits for risk adjustment and core quality measures and assist with other performance improvement initiatives that promote the success of Advanced Payment Model (APM) contracts. The position is responsible to work with all applicable payer partners for varying arrangements spanning across Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Commercial, QHP and Medicaid, and will leverage data and reports to maximize clinical condition documentation (CCD), and will become familiar with risk adjustment methodologies as applicable (HCC/RAF, HHS, MARA, Johns Hopkins, etc.) The Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist will provide insights and direct contributions to the development of analytics and reporting to enhance providers' ability to document and code to the highest level of specificity and improve coding and recapture rates as is clinically appropriate. The role will maintain strict confidentiality of all data and information. The Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to ensure effective, results-oriented project outcomes.
General Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in risk adjustment coding in a medical practice, network or payer setting using electronic health records (EHR) required. Chart auditing experience preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years coding experience required
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates/Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred.
License/Certification:
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) required.
- AAPC or AHIMA coding credential required.

- Responsible for monitoring and ordering supplies for department.

You will work in the ICU provide care in a 21 bed unit to a mixed patient population needing critical care. This is a fast paced, high-pressure environment that will care for some of the area’s highest acuity patients needing neuro, medical, surgical and trauma care.
Schedule: 3 shifts every two weeks from 7pm-7:30am. Must be flexible to work a varied schedule that consists of weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- You will perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients under the direction and supervision of the RN.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing required

The Patient Service Representative will work in partnership with our physicians and clinical staff to take care of patients’ administrative needs. You willbe responsible forchecking in patients for appointments, collecting patient co-pays, answering telephones, takingaccuratemessages, scheduling appointments, and checking insurance eligibility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previouscustomer service experiencerequired. Healthcare experiencepreferred. Electronic health record (EHR) experiencea plus. Medical terminologypreferred.
Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:
Provides advocacy, education, timely bio-psycho-social and environmental interventions for patients, and families as appropriate to achieve an optimal level of care. The MSW strives to promote wellness, improved care outcomes, and efficient utilization of health services through developing a relationship with patients. To help achieve quality clinical and cost outcomes, the social worker incorporates real-time contacts with medical staff, hospital personnel, and outside organizations to establish specific treatment, cost and transition targets and facilitate transition planning.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required in Idaho.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) preferred.
All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for Oregon within 90 days of hire.
Master’s degree in social work or counseling required
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organizational Mission, Core Values, and Vision in behaviors, practices, policies and decisions.
- Completes bio-psycho-social and environmental assessments on identified and/or referred patients.
- As appropriate, provides bio-psycho-social and environmental interventions for patients and families/caregivers. Interventions may include brief counseling, supportive therapy, alcohol/drug assessment and referral, referral to internal and external community resources as needed, crisis intervention and grief counseling.
- Provides consultations to physicians and hospital staff regarding patient and family bio-psycho-social issues through formal and/or informal multidisciplinary case conferences.
- Collaborates with health care team members to meet the emotional, mental, environmental, bio-psycho-social and spiritual needs of patients and/or their family caregivers.
- Participates in care coordination activities for those patients identified as needing social work and/or complex case management interventions.
- Works collaboratively with healthcare team members to efficiently allocate resources.
- Documents assessments/reassessments and interventions provided to patients and families/caregivers in the EMR.
- Documents a primary and backup plan as appropriate in the EMR
- Documents and accurately completes data elements in the electronic database.
- Responsible for coordination of care to mental health and/or substance abuse facilities.
- Follows established patient choice attestation guidelines.
- Responsible to coordinate with physicians and other legal entities relating to but limited to guardianships, holds, Power of Attorney, and Advanced Directives.
- Conducts interventions that develop positive, longitudinal relationships and set appropriate boundaries with patients and families.
- Responsible for weekend and holiday social work coverage.
