As a member of our Clinical Support Team (Float Pool), you'll gain valuable experience across multiple inpatient specialties and care settings while practicing at both our Level II Trauma Center in Boise and Level III Trauma Center in Nampa. You'll care for a diverse patient population, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the organization, and build a broad foundation of clinical experience that will continue to strengthen your practice throughout your career.
In Boise, you'll support teams in Trauma Medical-Surgical, Trauma General Surgery, Ortho Joint & Trauma, Medical Oncology, Orthopedic Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry. In Nampa, you'll have opportunities to care for patients in the Cardiac Medical Unit, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units.

What to expect:
Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care while serving as an advocate for both patients and families.
Expand your clinical expertise by caring for a diverse patient population across multiple specialties and units.
Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments to guide individualized patient care.
Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans that promote exceptional outcomes and patient-centered care.
Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient progress and responding to changing needs.
Educate patients and families to support recovery, wellness, and successful transitions of care.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and fellow caregivers to deliver coordinated care.
Communicate patient status and care plans effectively through both verbal handoffs and clinical documentation.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Utilize clinical equipment and technology safely and effectively to support patient care.
Practice within Idaho State Board of Nursing standards while upholding hospital policies and best practices.
Qualifications:
You currently hold an Idaho or multistate RN license
If you have a multistate license you would need to establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire
You have your Basic Life Support
You are willing to obtain your Advance Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Trauma General Surgical Unit 8C in Boise! The Boise Trauma GenSurg is a 32-bed inpatient unit that cares for patients across the full spectrum of acute care surgical procedures and trauma. It's fast paced and operates as a step down unit - more complex cases often involving multiple different parts of the body.
The unit operates under the Together Care Team Model, which includes Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. This structure not only enhances patient care but also presents significant opportunities for professional growth into other specialties, such as Emergency Room and Critical Care.
Self Schedule: Full-Time Nights, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 - 7. Rotating Weekends.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with members of the health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
In addition to providing hands-on nursing care, works and serves in a broad range of capacities including, but not limited to, delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, teaching of the patient and the patient’s family.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A current RN license is required.
Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)

Position Purpose:
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Anesthesia Technicians to join the Surgical Services Department. Anesthesia Technicians provide anesthesia support services throughout medical center under the direct supervision of the anesthesiologist and manager. The Anesthesia Technician assists the anesthesia team prior to, during, and following patient procedures in various operating rooms across surgical services. Individuals in this position are proficient in the maintenance, packing, and resupplying of the most complex anesthesia supplies and equipment in the operating room, and when available, responds to codes with anesthesia.
The Anesthesia Technician checks and supplies anesthesia carts and machines, checks and replaces anesthesia gas tanks, disassembles used anesthesia equipment, disinfects machines and supply carts, replaces used products and prepares transducers for invasive hemodynamic monitoring. This position has significant patient contact while assisting in transport and procedures and works collaboratively with anesthesia, nursing staff, and off-site resources. In addition, the incumbent assists with the preparation of anesthesia supplies both preoperatively and post operatively by cleaning, maintaining, packaging, ordering, and inventorying of anesthesia supplies.

Schedule: Position will be scheduled for 20 hours a week. Schedule during the first 6 weeks of training is Monday through Friday from 5:45am to 2:15pm.

Assist in dressing and securing IVs and Arterial lines.

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is looking to hire a CNAto join our incredible nursing team for the 10 bed Cardiac Medical Unit . This is a part-time position with 12-hour night shifts.
You will provide care for patients who need additional observation to rule out chest pains or outpatient status patients. It is a fast-paced, independent work environment with strong leadership and great opportunities for career growth and advanced training.
On CMU there are opportunities to get exposure to the Cath Lab as well as cardiac experience since both teams work very closely together.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You will support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
You will perform various nursing care services and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients, as those of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) under the direction and supervision of the licensed nurse.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho OR complete the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program required
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric as applicable).

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 800+ clinician multispecialty group practice seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant committed to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care in an urgent care setting. We are seeking multiple advanced practice providers to join a group of clinicians serving the rapidly expanding Middleton community. Upon opening, the provider will practice in a co-located family medicine and urgent care setting designed to support a growing team of primary care and urgent care clinicians, with urgent care services available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Under the direction of a supervising physician, advanced practice providers will deliver urgent care services to the patients the clinic serves. The clinician will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and will request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other healthcare resources as indicated. The qualified candidate must be enthusiastic about family health issues and demonstrate comprehensive assessment skills, strong clinical judgment, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
The qualified candidate will exude passion about health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities. SAMG utilizes EPIC (EHR/EMR) in its clinics. Thus, experience with EHR is desirable.
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- A strong medical background in Emergency Department or high acuity Urgent Care is preferred
