We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about providing speech and language therapy in the school setting. At The Speech Barn, we strongly believe in providing fun, engaging, and individualized therapy sessions that help students build confidence and achieve their communication goals! This is a part-time position. Hours and workdays negotiable upon hire.
*Responsibilities*
* Deliver engaging speech and language therapy sessions in both individual and group settings utilizing evidence-based techniques.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and implement intervention strategies effectively.
* Participate in team, RTI, referral, IEP, and eligibility meetings.
* Complete assessments, eligibility reports, individualized education plans, progress reports, and all required documentation.
* Conduct screenings for students.
*Requirements*
* Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American-Speech- Language-Hearing Association. Clinical Fellowship (CF) supervision available.
* Idaho State Speech-Language Pathology License.
* School based experience preferred but not required.

Summary:
Registered Cardiac Sonographer will perform outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms examinations to assess heart function. Will assisting physician in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. This role requires expertise in ultrasound imaging, patient care, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Conducts 2D, Doppler, and color flow echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac function.
· Perform stress echocardiography and contrast-enhanced studies as needed.
· Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and cooperation
· Reviews patient orders and previous diagnostic studies and records patient information on their own history sheets for the cardiologists
· Recognize normal and abnormal echocardiographic findings and report concerns to the physicians.
· Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal imagine quality.
· Records echocardiographic images using the proper identification information. May discuss test results with the physician or request that the physician personally view the echocardiographic image.
· Sends echocardiographic images to cardiologists per Information Technology (IT).
· Trouble shoots technical issues and coordinate equipment services.
· Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards.
· Work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
· Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control protocols.
· Prepares monthly Outpatient Specialty Clinic and Echocardiography statistic reports for Administration and Business Office.
· Receptionist duties to include answering the clinic calls, taking messages, and appropriately routing the calls and messages. Will be responsible for the faxing of any paperwork and precertification’s requested by the physician.
· Practices sterile techniques and prevents cross contamination. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness, including provision for the contamination free condition of rooms, equipment, and personnel.
· Maintains outpatient clinic supplies, restocking as needed.
· Reports equipment failure directly to director.
· Keeps current regarding developments in trends and techniques of Cardiac Sonography by reading technical journals and keeping up with the continuing education in the field of Cardiac Sonography.
· Adheres to prescribed standards of practice for Cardiac Sonography.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Must work various shifts and take call on a rotating basis.
Performs CT and X-Ray procedures according to protocol.
Consistently provide images of optimal diagnostic quality on patients ranging from Neonatal to Geriatric age group; Follow established imaging and viewing protocols.

A. POSITION SUMMARY
This individual is principally responsible for intervening on behalf of children, adolescents, and adults of the Desert Sage Health Centers. (DSHC) patient mix, who have suffered neglect, physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse, or suffer from emotional disturbances or mental illness. C. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct a psychosocial assessment of the client and determine if the client meets criteria for Behavioral Health services.
2. Responsible for learning and implementing the DSHC electronic medical records (EMR) system following heath center policies.
3. Diagnose client using DSM-VTR criteria, and if appropriate, psychometric tools and records.
4. Develop a treatment plan that identifies both short and long term need of the client.

The Saint Alphonsus Trauma Center has a Level II Trauma Center designation by the Time Sensitive Emergency System. This validates that a hospital is fully equipped and prepared to provide care for patients with major traumatic injuries. Trauma Centers have dedicated physicians, staff and resources to provide specialist medical and nursing care including emergency medicine, trauma surgery, critical care, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, anesthesiology, and radiology.
Essential Functions
- Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
- Participates in the administration of the Regional Health Ministry as a full member of the senior leadership team, including strategic planning, execution, change management, and organizational decision-making. - Collaborates with the senior leadership team in the development and implementation of operating and capital budgets.
- Develops and implements ongoing measures/evaluation methods related to all dimensions of performance inclusive of budget and productivity targets.
- Develops and implements plans, including education and required competencies that ensure staffing for safe high-quality patient care.
- Ensures the recruitment, retention, development, succession planning for and engagement of quality patient care associates and leadership. Promotes an environment of shared leadership and decision making.
- Participates in evaluating, selecting, and integrating health care technology and information systems that support patient care.
- In collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and the Chief Quality Officer, serves as a sponsor and develops and directs the implementation of effective evidence-based programs to measure, analyze and continuously improve the safety and quality of all patient care services through empiric outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with all health care standards and requirements established by various licensing, regulatory and accreditation bodies.

- State Registered Nursing license.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric as applicable)
- Demonstrates ability to maintain a safe environment and therapeutic milieu as evidenced by ability to utilize good judgment, implement critical thinking skills, and quickly problem solve situations to maintain positive and healing atmosphere.
- Revenue Management: ensures the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to the patients.
- Displays an ability to communicate and/or take direction from licensed staff.
- Demonstrates motivation to initiate tasks within the defined parameters of the psych tech role.
- Assists/participates in crisis situations that can require "hands-on" for safety of the patient and/or others which can ultimately lead to seclusion and/or having to be on the floor to restrain a patient.
- Educates patients on suitable coping skills related to treatment plan content as evidenced by one to one interactions and in the group setting.
- Participates in the treatment planning process by reviewing treatment plan's with patients in a timely manner and documenting progress and education towards treatment goals.
- Demonstrates, models, and provides supportive listening for patients in crisis.
- Completes clinical documentation with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Serves as a liaison between patients, families and professional staff.
- Receives data and ensures that appropriate processing occurs.
- Assists with unit clerical support as needed.
