NaphCare is hiring LPNs and LVNs to join our team of medical professionals in Wyoming Department of Corrections - Medium Correctional Facility , where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Torrington, WY.
Full Time, Part Time, and PRN positions are available!
We are offering new pay rates for LPNs and a $7,500 sign on bonus for Full-Time employees!
Candidates who live 50 miles or more from the facility (FT, PT, and PRN) will also receive:
An additional $2.00 per hour pay incentive in addition to their base pay rate
Mileage reimbursement
As a Correctional Nurse, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have various duties to keep you engaged including performing physical assessments, administering medications, managing chronic illnesses, and responding to emergencies. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.
New grads are encouraged to apply - we'll train you in the exciting field of correctional healthcare!
As an LPN, you will play a critical role in our continued mission to provide quality healthcare that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Duties and responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
Performing patient assessments, interviewing patients about current health problems, medication history
Taking vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weight
Providing wound care, including cleaning and bandaging injured areas
Administering medication, including injections of medications and monitoring reaction to meds
Maintaining medical records, including entering information into our electronic health record, TechCare
Observing patient health and mental health status
Providing emergency first aid
Providing patient education and discharge/release planning
Education / Licenses / Certifications / Requirements
Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Actively state-certified as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA required)
Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening
Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.

As a Correctional Director of Nursing (DON), you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical personnel to provide care to the incarcerated individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have a variety of duties to keep you engaged. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical and dental needs.
The Director of Nursing is instrumental in fostering a positive work environment for all nurses and support staff. You will lead by example and set clear expectations and direction for their work, communicate practice changes, advocate for nursing needs, offer guidance and support, collaborate with other staff members and be involved in recruiting, coaching and mentoring new nursing staff.
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing nursing and support staff and clinical operations. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:
Collaborating with medical and mental health teams to enhance quality patient care
Leading Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities
Managing nursing operations, resources, budgets, and staffing schedules
Ensuring staff adhere to current and new policies and procedures and company Code of Conduct
Monitoring staffing needs and helping to recruit new staff
Conducting educational classes and training staff on new procedures/policies
Mitigating risks by proactively addressing potential hazards, including dangerous work conditions, health and safety concerns and reporting issues to company leadership and facility management.
Experience / Requirements / Qualifications
Holds a current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse within the state
Must possess an active BLS/CPR Certification (AHA preferred)
Three years of clinical and progressive management experience in a government or private organization related to comprehensive medical, dental, and mental healthcare services within a correctional healthcare or acute care setting
Ability to manage complex staffing matrices and clinical supplies
Excellent communication skills with proven experience leading, managing, and coaching medical staff through complex Human Resource issues and challenges.
Knowledge of nursing practice principles and techniques, occupational health and safety standards, infectious disease management, applicable health care laws, regulations, and procedures for direct health care services.
Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues

Wyoming Wound Care is seeking a *Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)* to join our growing outpatient wound care clinic in Casper, Wyoming.
This is a unique opportunity for a PT interested in developing expertise in *wound care and limb preservation*. Wound care experience is preferred but *not required*. We welcome PTs from orthopedic, neurological, and other clinical backgrounds who are interested in learning a specialty and making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
* Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds
* Develop individualized treatment plans
* Perform wound care interventions, including debridement within PT scope and competency
* Select and apply dressings, compression, and other appropriate treatments
* Monitor wound healing and adjust treatment plans
* Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Participate in community education and outreach as appropriate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in respiratory therapy, critical care, and patient assessment, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality respiratory support and patient care. Responsibilities to be performed at 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities (Laramie & Cheyenne, WY)
Receive and follow schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures
Adhere to established policies and procedures of the community to which the position is assigned
Perform focused interviews to identify specific patients' needs
Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential diagnoses
Plan for outcomes of care for assigned patients
Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the company policies and patient care outcome standards
Follow to emergency, safety and infection control procedures of the community to which the position is assigned
Promote and participate in activities to facilitate good interpersonal communications
Report and document changes in the patient's respiratory status to the Physician, Nurse and others responsible for oversight of patient care, prior to exiting community
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the community
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist
Minimum of associate degree from an accredited school
Graduate of a respiratory care program required
Bachelor of Science degree in the health care field preferred
Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)
Must hold a current CPR/BLS and ACLS certification

Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Manager (RM) and interdisciplinary team regarding resident care and operational concerns.

Maintain productivity standards established by the Rehabilitation Manager.
Participate in quality improvement and Quality Assurance Review activities.
Follow policies and procedures related to infection control, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety.
Maintain consistent and predictable service hours as assigned.
Supervise PT assistants and aides when applicable.
Review and communicate caseload information regularly with supervising therapists and staff.
Qualifications
Physical Therapist (PT)
