*a.c.e. therapies* is a family and clinician owned, interdisciplinary practice serving individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities across the lifespan. We're seeking a passionate BCBA to help create meaningful change at our Pediatric Center located in Merrionette Park.

*Clinical Responsibilities*

* Collaborate with, supervise, and mentor team of behavior technicians
* Lead and supervise caregiver guidance in clinic, community, and home settings
* Conduct intake assessments and develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans for assigned patients
* Exercise judgment on best assessment tools to utilize in treatment planning for patients and develop well rounded treatment programs
* Assist with creation of training processes and materials
* Assist in hiring, training and supervising of staff
* Conduct functional assessments and create behavior plans that are generalizable to everyday environments
* Maintain accurate, complete and organized patient notes, data, and reports
* Maintain positive working relationships with patients and caregivers
* Attend required trainings and meetings with advanced notice
* Complete necessary documentation (i.e., supervision summaries, program updates, overlaps) following direct services hours
* Confer with members of ABA therapy staff and other treatment team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment program
* Provide supervision to BCBA candidates as outlined in the BCBA Supervision Contract
* Maintain utilization requirements across clients to ensure high quality treatment is received

*Administrative and Development Responsibilities:*

* Participate in weekly scheduling meetings

*Job Requirements:*

* Minimum education and experience as required by the BACB to board certification at the master’s level
* Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) issued by state of Illinois
* Obtain, possess, and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification and re-certification every 2 years
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and google suite

WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY IS

- You're the first and primary veterinarian at our satellite clinic. You run it. Your clinical judgment, your relationships, your call.

- You are not on an island. The satellite is a few miles from our main clinic, where an established team — including one of the area's most respected surgeons — backs you up with surgical support, consults, and coverage.

- An experienced practice manager handles the business and operations side — so you're the medical authority without the business-management overhead.

- General small-animal wellness: preventive care, vaccines, diagnostics, dentals, minor procedures, ongoing case management — with surgical cases supported by the main clinic.

We're privately owned and operated, and we run this practice on a simple idea: the proceeds go toward making a difference. Over eight years, Precision Veterinary has built relationships with more than 150 area rescues and shelters and provided the care behind 60,000+ adoptions, covering millions in medical costs along the way. The people who own this practice are the people who work in it — and they have no interest in leaving, selling, or buying a boat. Muir Field will remain a neighborhood vet clinic and a way to continue to provide for pets post-adoption for the rest of their lives.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The on-site team is small — to start, it's you, a tech, occasionally a surgeon, and the practice manager. The clinic has space for two DVMs, and we're remodeling + updating to design around that. The main clinic nearby has two experienced DVMs and about ten support staff. We have unusually good retention with our techs and assistants — most have been here for years, partly because we're careful to avoid drama when we hire, and partly because we just don't abuse people. We're mostly slightly awkward introverts, because, well, that seems to be most of who works in vet med — but the team is genuinely good people, they work hard, and they're easy to get along with. (A weirdly large number of them also just hang out at the clinic when they're not working, which is a good sign.

THE SCHEDULE

The clinic is currently open during normal business hours but that can be shifted. The team manages its own coverage like adults. When you need time off, we work out coverage within the team. No formal on-call or weekend rotation — we partner with local emergency hospitals for, well, emergencies. Full-time preferred; open to talking about 0.8 if that's what makes this work for you.

COMPENSATION

Most of this is negotiable, and the broad strokes should look a lot like any other good general practice in the area. We pay well and fairly — not extravagantly, because we don't need to bribe people into compromising their morals or their quality of life:

- $130,000–$150,000 base salary, depending on experience.

- 20% of your personal production — paid monthly, with your base as a floor you never drop below, and no negative accrual (a slow month never means you 'owe' us). As your practice grows, your income grows with it, directly and transparently.

- Health, dental, and vision.

- CE budget + time.

- Relocation help if you're coming from out of the area.

- A path to partnership for the right long-term fit. The goal is to grow the broader practice into a Madison institution that keeps the value in the local pet owning community.
