*We have an immediate opening for a procedure based Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from* *7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays and the ability to float to the Spartanburg, South Carolina office as needed.*
This position will work as part of a team to work under the supervision of our board certified reproductive endocrinologists to provide fertility treatments and help our patients achieve their dreams of having a family. This is a procedure heavy role with an eventual option to see patients as a provider. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience and outstanding customer service for patients at every appointment. If you are a nurse practitioner with a passion for patient care and being part of a team, we want you!
*How You'll Contribute:*
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Nurse Practitioner will:
* Deliver patient care independently or as part of a treatment team
* Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols
* Perform higher level triage and referral to MD within practice as deemed appropriate
* Provide comprehensive, continuous, and personalized patient care; including diagnosis, treatments and consultations.
* Perform physical examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines
* Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient s clinical problems and health care needs
* Prescribe medication and follow prescription refill procedures/protocols for the practice; prescribe or recommend drugs or other forms of treatment as needed; consult with collaborative physician as needed
* Participate in the management of ART cycles/ovulation induction/ IVF/labs/follow ups
* Eventually oversee patients’ ART cycles and coordinate patient treatment plans, such as Egg Freezing, IUI, In Vitro Fertilization and Frozen Embryo Transfers
* Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols and procedures
* Perform pelvic exams, including bimanual and speculum; perform diagnostic ultrasonography; perform intrauterine inseminations (all with training and proper return demonstrations)
* Assist with procedures/surgical interventions as applicable
* Collaborate with physicians (including fellows, residents, medical students), nurses (NPs, RN’s, MA’s), and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan
* Provide patient care directions to other nursing staff members, following established standards, policies and procedures
* Refer patients to appropriate physicians for consultation if needed or to specialized health resources for treatment
* Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
* Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times
* Participate in quality and assessment improvement meetings
* Maintain patient records confidentially
* Record patient charges and lab charges for billing department
* Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately in EMR
* Document work processes as required
* Assist with research process as applicable
* Attend required training education on an annual basis
* Comply with infection control policies and procedures
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management
* Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
* Provide feedback to CEO, office manager, and collaborative physician(s) on process improvement and job specifications to help gain efficiencies in your day to day for desired skills and experience in order to progress in NP role at PREG

*What You'll Bring:*
The skills and education we need are:
* Master’s or Doctorate Degree (MSN or PhD or DNP) in Nursing and graduation from an ANA approved Nurse Practitioner Program required
* Current Licensure, prescriptive authority (or eligible for prescriptive authority) and all applicable requirements the Carolina licensure entails
* 3 years nursing experience and at least 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner managing patient care (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OBGYN, women’s health, and/or REI required)
* Experience in and a passion for women’s health, fertility is a plus
* Current certification from ANCC or AANP
* BLS/ACLS certification for _Health Care Providers_
* Willingness to obtain REI nursing certification after 1 year of employment
* Ultrasound experience preferred
* Strong communication skills and a team player

*JOB SUMMARY*
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for providing skilled speech, language, and swallowing therapy services. The speech-language pathologist / SLP assesses and develops individualized treatment plans and provides speech, language, and swallowing interventions to enhance residents' quality of life and functional independence.

1. Animal Health and Welfare:
· Administer general health and medical treatment plans for all animals examined and evaluated. Coordinate and communicate treatment plan for animals with Animal Health Coordinators.
· Interpret lab work in order to properly decide best next steps in animal care.
· Maintain animal records to ensure proper documentation of exam notes, evaluations, and recommendations.
· Maintain relationship with local cooperating vets and other veterinary resources in getting animals’ appropriate diagnostics done and on receiving advice on treatment of animals.
· Maintain and update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

· Administer rabies vaccinations to animals and complete rabies certificates as required.

· Performing euthanasia in cases where animal no longer has any quality of life and there is no treatment available to relieve their suffering. At times, this may be with foster caregiver, bonded staff, and/or volunteers present.
· Provide medical oversight for the adoption center program, including evaluation of medical, surgical, and disease control protocols.
· Comply with adoption center and animal health procedures and protocols.
· Involvement in the process of selection for purchase of medical equipment, supplies, and medications.
· Supervise handling and recording of controlled substances by Animal Health Supervisor or Adoption Center Manager in accordance with state and federal laws.

* Educate patients, families, and facility staff on respiratory care and treatment plans
* Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
* Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
* Support initiatives focused on reducing hospitalizations and Return-to-Hospital (RTH) events
*Required Qualifications:*
* Preferred a minimum of 6 months of experience in post-acute care setting
* Preferred experience: training provided
* Active and unrestricted state Nurse Practitioner license or Active PA license and NCCPA certification required
* Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
* CPR BCLS/BLS certified
* Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently in the clinical environment

The APRN is an integral member of the interdisciplinary health team of ECO Health. The APRN provides care as deemed necessary and acts as a resource to nursing and allied health personnel.
The Henryetta site is a new state-of-the-art building with integrated services including medical and behavioral health. ECO Health provides care to patients Monday through Friday with extended hours on Thursday. ECO Health utilizes fully implemented electronic medical records, digital x-rays and a CLIA waived laboratory.
