*Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities and Duties*
Below you will find some characteristics of the activities required
* Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and skills assessments.
* Develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
* Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ABA Therapists.
* Monitor client progress through data analysis and program adjustments.
* Provide parent and caregiver training to support skill generalization.
* Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Complete clinical documentation
*Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Qualifications*
* Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
* Current BCBA certification (in good standing) with 2+ years operating as a BCBA preferred.
* Active Maryland Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license or eligibility to obtain licensure as required by state law prior to providing billable services.
* Experience providing ABA therapy to children with autism is preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team
* Experience with assessment tools required.
* Must have reliable transportation, including the ability to travel to assigned client residences as required.
* A valid driver’s license may be required depending on client assignment. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Responsibilities
Responsible for helping patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
Provides interventions, conducts reexaminations (every 30 days, at minimum), modifies interventions as necessary, and performs discharge planning.

Qualifications
Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.
Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.
Current CPR certification.

Maintain inventory and records of controlled drugs and other drugs as required by law.
Supervise pharmacy technicians in routine performance of their duties.
Provide drug information to professional staff and patients as necessary.
Participate in inventory control programs such as ordering, inventorying and monitoring correct pricing and quantities.
Attend and participate in programs, committees, meetings, and functions as required by the facility or pharmacy.
Participate in educational programs for professional staff as necessary.

May assist with conducting initial and annual performance evaluations.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree, or Pharm. D., from an approved school of pharmacy
Current/Clear WA State Pharmacist License
One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.

*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
General Education
Graduate School: Master's Degree
Major: Social Work, Counseling, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy
Courses: Clinical areas, professional ethics.
Training: Cognitive Behavior Treatment, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care training preferred.
Job-Related Experience: Sufficient experience working with children and families. Experience with relevant population in a community mental health setting and Infant Mental Health experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: Michigan state licensure. Valid driver’s license while operating vehicle on agency business.
If serving children age 0 to 3: Master’s degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited school, training, and experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families. Must qualify for a MDHHS Waiver of Provider Qualifications, if not currently endorsed at Level 2 or 3 by the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health. Must
minimally have Endorsement Level 2 by the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health; Level 3 preferred within 2 years of hiring. Must be a QIDP if serving children with a developmental disability.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) evaluates, plans, and provides occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with physician orders, federal and state regulations, and facility policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Evaluate residents to determine functional limitations, strengths, and rehabilitation potential.

* Provide skilled occupational therapy services to improve mobility, self-care, upper extremity function, cognition, and daily living skills.
* Assess and recommend adaptive equipment, splints, positioning devices, and environmental modifications.
* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, safety techniques, and home exercise programs.
* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members.
* Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge summaries accurately and within required timeframes.
* Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
* Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences.
* Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, state practice acts, and facility policies.

Qualifications

Complies with facility policies and procedures for appropriately documenting, billing and coding for residents receiving speech language pathology and audiology services.
