We are looking to hire a Full-Time Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) in Nampa!
Shift Information: This position will work 40 hours per week on the day shift:
7:00 am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday + every other weekend)
About This Position: As a Housekeeper at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will play a significant part in creating a great experience for patients and their families! You will clean and disinfect various areas within the hospital to maximize infection prevention, enhance patient safety, and increase the visual appeal. You'll also prepare patient rooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning the floor, making the bed, and more. Housekeepers collect, store, and dispose of numerous medical-related items from patient treatment areas, and may also perform project work such as cleaning carpets and refrigerators.
Our ideal candidateis self-motivated, trainable, and friendly. He or she will need to preserve confidential information, maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and comply with safety standards. He or she will also need to be comfortable working around blood and bodily fluids (with the use of personal protective equipment).The position requires that colleagues stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, and twist on a frequent basis.
General Requirements:
Able tocommunicate/interfacein an effective and positive manner with hospital staff, patients, and visitors to provide directions, hospital information, guest room services, etc. as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions, communicate by telephone, and initiate communication with peers about priorities for tasks to be done.
Able to stand and walk throughout the day to perform job duties.
Must be able to lift up to 50lb.

This position will support various Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Clinics (SAMG) across the Treasure Valley.
*Schedules will vary based on clinic location and need - Ex of weekly schedules; 5 8 hr shifts, 4 10 hr shifts, 3 12 hr shifts. We do need this applicant to have a flexible schedule, as the schedule is subject to change and can include a mixture of rotating, mixed days, weekends, and or evenings.
POSITIONSUMMARY & HIGHLIGHTS:
As an RN in the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, you will provide skilled nursing care in coordination with licensed providers while promoting a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness. You will administer medications, maintain a safe nursing area, and provide education and resources to patients and families based on their needs. RN's are also expected to serve as a mentor to clinical staff, maintain accurate documentation, and preserve confidential information.
General Requirements:
Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
Education:
An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
License/Certification:
Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.
Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.

In addition to primary MA duties, you will also perform phlebotomy, administer immunizations/vaccinations, and prep injections.
You will assist with minor procedures, complete POC and other tests, and also complete tasks and orders in the task inbox.

Certified Surgical Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. - Responsible for technical equipment and supplies (e.g., inventory, usage, organization, maintenance in own specialty area).
- Trouble-shoots equipment within own specialty to bring to resolution.
- Independently manages instrument, sponge and sharp counts for all procedures in specialty areas and all procedures assigned outside of specialty.
- Assists and/or follows direction of the RN Circulator to set up a room and obtain equipment, etc.

What Will You Do:
In addition to primary MA duties, you will also perform phlebotomy, administer immunizations, perform EKGs, and prep injections.
You will set up and assist with minor procedures, complete POC and other tests, and also complete tasks and orders in the task inbox.
An ideal candidate will have previous experience in family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, internal medicine, or urgent care, will be highly dependable and reliable and have solid experience with immunizations and phlebotomy. Epic experience is a plus.
You will also have strong self-initiative and communication skills, enjoy developing efficiencies, being part of a supportive team, and willing to assist in all areas of the clinic.
Work Schedule:
27-28 hours per week, 3 - 9 hour shifts, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Around the hours of 7:00am - 4:30pm.
Schedule start time and end time will vary based on clinic needs.
