Job Summary:
The Manager, Patient Care Services is a leadership role that has comprehensive operational authority and responsibility for designated clinical area(s). Their responsibilities include: fiscal accountability, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of patient/family centered care and service, patient and staff satisfaction, program development, managing and developing teams, and ensuring integration with the clinical enterprise. Provides feedback, coaching and mentoring to less experienced peers and other members of the health care team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborates to operationalize the mission, strategic plan, budgets, resource allocation, operational plans, and policies for the PCC, Hospitals and Vanderbilt Clinic.
• Prepares annual operating and capital budgets following established guidelines and using benchmark data.
• Develops and monitors the implementation of area specific quality plan linked to organizational goals.

The Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) is service/physician aligned, managing a distinct patient population. The APC may be required to perform some outpatient and inpatient care and facilitate discharges/outpatient follow up. The APC has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice/education and is responsible for ensuring adherence to clinical pathways/protocols and ensures an environment of safe quality care. The APC demonstrates advanced level of medical and nursing knowledge, clinical/technical competence, sound clinical judgement, professional communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and responsible for professional development and competency validation..
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessment of Health Status
- Performs and documents in the medical record a complete history and physical examination for acute and complex chronically ill patients
- Orders and collects data using appropriate assessment techniques, relevant supporting diagnostic information and diagnostic procedures where indicated.
- The APC may serve as the first responder for both nursing and staff in the event of patient status changes, orders, and in situations requiring procedural and resuscitative interventions.
- Assesses for risks associated with the care of the acute and complex chronically ill patient including medication side effects, immobility, impaired nutrition, fluid, and electrolyte imbalance, immunocompetence, invasive interventions and diagnostic procedures.
- Coordinates daily clinic schedule with the attending physician team, presents patient report, collaborates in plan of care, and follows assigned patient population.

Vanderbilt Health Walk-In Clinics provide convenient, high-quality urgent care for patients with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries that require prompt attention. Staffed by a highly trained team of board-certified physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, the clinics diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions such as allergic reactions, animal bites, back pain, bronchitis, minor burns, bug bites, abscesses, and seasonal allergies. Open seven days a week with evening and weekend hours, Vanderbilt Health Walk-In Clinics offer accessible care across multiple Middle Tennessee locations. In addition to urgent care services, clinics provide on-site diagnostic testing and treatment options, including X-rays, EKGs, lab testing, physical exams, vaccinations, drug screenings, blood glucose testing, and other preventive and occupational health services. Patients benefit from seamless access to follow-up care through Vanderbilt Health’s extensive network of primary care providers and specialists.

- Proficiently performs all Associate Patient Service Specialist job responsibilities.
- Schedules appointments and procedures through clinical communication, work queues, and patient portal messages
- Manages registration and patient work queues.
- Coordinates with patients and/or outside facilities to ensure all pre-appointment orders and consults have been received and ready to view prior to patient visit.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Threat Management Engineer focuses on engineering and automation, ensuring scalable, effective, and resilient detection capabilities independently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Security Visibility Fabric (SVF) Ownership: Architect, document, and maintain the SVF and its supporting infrastructure, including threat intelligence integrations.
Detection Engineering Coordination: Lead and support detection development across platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intel Management, NGFWs, EDR, and CNAPP.
Alert Triage Enablement: Collaborate with alert triage (AT) analysts to design and implement processes and tooling that support efficient alert triage using SVF data.

The Women and Infants Services Department at Banner Ironwood Medical Center focused on providing family centered care. The Women and Infants Services are all in one department specialized for a family-centered healing environment. Level II facility with 24-hour coverage provided by Obstetricians, Certified Nurse Midwives, Neonatologists, and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners; in addition to 24 hour in-house coverage by Anesthesia. There is a Certified Lactation Consultant to help support breastfeeding along with the observation of the “Golden Hour” at birth where baby is skin to skin with mom for bonding. This unit serves low to moderate risk patients with private rooms, Labor, delivery, and recovery for vaginal deliveries all in the same LDR room, approximately 90 deliveries per month, two OR suites for scheduled and unscheduled cesarean sections, and additional operative procedures in the immediate postpartum period, room service for meal delivery. We have 8 LDR rooms, each with a special area just for the family support, 2 OR suites, 2 bed PACU, 4 bed triage unit, 6 bed Special Care Nursery, and 23 Postpartum rooms.

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations. What You'll Do
Assist patients with hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and Bluetooth connectivity
Support same-day clinic appointments and patient flow
Manage hearing aid inventory, orders, shipments, and device tracking
Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records
Prepare equipment and support daily clinic operations
Partner with audiologists and support staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience
Travel occasionally to satellite clinics as needed
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, Healthcare, or a related field preferred
Three or more years of customer service, healthcare, medical office, therapy clinic, or patient-facing experience preferred
Demonstrated reliability and stable work history
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
Experience working with pediatric or special-needs populations is a plus

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist and counsel same day clinic patients independently with hearing aid repairs, supplies, earmold pick up and accessory Bluetooth pairing.
· Document and bill for patient care services.
· Schedule same day clinic patients for hearing aid cleanings, supplies, and repairs, and earmold pick up.
· Respond timely to patient messages/calls and provider clinical messages.
· Complete quality check of invoices with our negotiated prices and purchase order numbers.
· Ship items back to manufacturers for repairs, remakes, or refunds via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
· Order hearing aids, accessories, and earmolds per Track aid or custom hearing aid forms
TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
· Patient Documentation and Billing (Intermediate): Demonstrates mastery proficiency in documentation practices. Documents in the appropriate templates and utilizes only approved abbreviations within patient documentation. Meets institutional standards for quality and timeliness of documentation and billing. May orient new staff to departmental and VUMC documentation standards. Will complete accurate chart audits of co-workers’ documentation.
· Customer Service (Intermediate): Keeps management informed on all aspects of one or more projects. Takes personal responsibility to ensure external and internal customer satisfaction is met despite pressures and/or significant obstacles. Discuss options with customers for alternative ways to meet expectations cost-effectively and efficiently. · Audiology Patient Education (Intermediate): Communicates functional impact of assessment findings, treatment interventions, diagnosis, and disease process. · Hearing Aid Maintenance (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to maintain devices, accessories, or systems in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Assures that parts inventory is sufficient.

Patient Services Specialist (PSS) provides customer service, including telephone etiquette, cash management, scheduling of appointments, processes insurance updates and conducts patient check in/out. The PSS is responsible for maintaining a smooth patient flow. They are the first contact with our patients, therefore, must be extremely courteous, patient, and have a neat appearance. The PSS must be able to always maintain composure and politeness while dealing with patients, and they must also be able to work and interact as part of a team, with the skills to perform multiple tasks simultaneously..
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet patients and guests upon arrival. Scan the reception area periodically to ensure that each patient is checked in. If uncertain, verify patient's status. Proactively communicate wait times or delays to patients at the time of check-in. Provide updates to patients regarding revised wait times. Maintain an organized work area and professional appearance.
- Respond to each call with the standard greeting: Clinic name or other identifier; Your name; answer call within 3 rings. Place caller on hold with permission from caller and for appropriate time frames. Provide complete transfer assistance to all incoming calls when needed. Demonstrate phone service etiquette.
- Demonstrate on-stage behavior in all settings viewed by patients or visitors. Demonstrate off-stage behavior expected in all settings when representing VPA.
- Initiates message by correctly including the following information: Name; At least 2 of the correct identifiers (MR#, DOB, SS#); Reason for call or inquiry; Forwards messages to the appropriate recipient in a timely manner following clinical protocol. Respond to all messages using correct spelling, grammar, and commentary appropriate for medical record documentation.
- Demonstrate ability to identify and proactively assist a patient or visitor. Provide accurate and complete directional assistance independently or using appropriate resources. Schedule, pull, and prepare patient charts for same-day visit.
- Organize and prepare patient records daily (pull patient charts and organize chart for visit); Ensure privacy by adhering to sign-in standard format; Ensure accurate patient identification by comparing sign-in data to 2 separate identifiers; Review "display notes" for Referral and Central Registration needs; Accurately determine which account to use for the visit. - Collect self-pay balances per clinic policy; verify whether patient’s account shows a credit balance prior to collecting any co-pays; post professional charges. Work with Office Manager to reconcile charge batches, balance cash collections to Use Batch Report daily, reconcile cash discrepancies, prepare deposit and take to central depository or bank (daily), and reconcile petty cash and submit to central depository (daily).

MRI ImagingJob Summary:
JOB SUMMARYPerforms all aspects of Magnetic Resonance Imaging including but not limited to neuro, dynamic under the direct supervision of the Radiologist. He/She is required to provide high quality examinations in accordance with the protocols and policies of the Imaging Department while providing safe compassionate care to the patient. Shall be proficient in the operation of all equipment associated with the performance of scanning, including the MRI unit, its accessories, injectors, teleradiology, monitors and laser camera. Reports directly to the Director of Imaging. Is accountable for the professional and technical ability to perform high quality examinations with minimal supervision and within the protocols and guidelines set by the Department of Imaging Services. He/She has the responsibility of protection and safety to themselves, the patients and co-workers. He/She is expected to maintain high standards of technical competence and be an example and assist other technical personnel and student radiographers within the department. Technologists are required to participate in on-call coverage for the modality as part of the essentials of the job requirement.

- Interviews patient/patient's social support system to complete initiate psychosocial evaluation.
- Provides counseling/support/education to patient/patient's social support system. Assists patients/patient's social support system in coping with stress related to hospitalization, disability, chronic/terminal illness.
- Works collaboratively with the patients and patient's social support system to establish and implement a plan of care with multidisciplinary team that meets the patient's identified psychosocial needs.
- Serves as a resource to hospital staff and physicians regarding emotional, social, and psychosocial components of the patient's illness and its effects on their social support system. - Intervenes in crisis situations, appropriately and effectively applying crisis intervention theory' and skills
- Completes psychosocial assessments for the patient's post hospital care for designated patient's and their support system.

Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is seeking APPs to join our highly specialized Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) team.
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work collaboratively with pediatric cardiac intensivists, congenital heart surgeons, cardiologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional care for infants, children, and adolescents with complex congenital and acquired heart disease.
This position offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity environment while contributing to innovative patient care, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
About the PCICU
The Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit provides comprehensive care for critically ill children with congenital and acquired heart disease. The team manages patients across the continuum of cardiac care, including:
Preoperative and postoperative congenital heart surgery
Complex cardiac medical management
Transplant care
Multidisciplinary cardiac critical care
Responsibilities
The APP will:
Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY
Since its inception in 1974, our division has been dedicated to the comprehensive care of children and young adults with nutritional, gastrointestinal, or liver disorders. Our mission is to provide family-centered, state-of-the-art treatment for these disorders, to foster new discoveries that will change the manner in which they are prevented or treated in the future, and to train the next generation of physicians to become experts in our field.
Consistently recognized by theU.S. News and World Reportsurvey as being among the best clinical programs in the nation, the Division has developed several programs of clinical excellence that are multi-disciplinary and intimately linked to the research and educational missions.
Our goal is to also provide exceptional care for children in their own communities when possible, and we now have satellite outpatient programs in seven different sites across Tennessee.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtains and documents a health history; performs and documents complete, system-focused, or symptom-specific physical examination, assessment and plan of care.
In collaboration, provides healthcare services for primary, acute and complex care of patients and manages patients’ overall care, identifying expected outcomes for diagnoses.
Orders, performs, interprets and collects data using appropriate assessment techniques, relevant supporting diagnostic information and diagnostic procedures where indicated.
Forms differential diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions.
Prescribes therapeutic interventions for both pharmacologic, non-pharmacologic, needed to achieve expected outcomes.
Utilizes evidence-based, approved practice protocols in planning and implementing care.
Initiates appropriate referrals and consultations
Provides specialty specific consultation services upon request and within scope of practice.
Facilitates the patient’s transition between and within health care settings.

Educates patients, families, students and other members of the healthcare team in clinical topics and application of clinical knowledge.
