Job Description:
Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 16 years of age required.
• Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
• Based on department need, Medication Aide certification and completion of an Injectables course may be required after hire in outpatient settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsible for receiving, evaluating, accessioning, processing, storage and distributing of patient specimens for lab testing adhering to department standard operating procedures. Ensure that incoming patient samples meet the pre-analytical testing requirements and that specimen issues are resolved before testing. Possess the ability to organize workload for maximum efficiency, accuracy and to help maintain the quality and timeliness of patient testing. Project a professional image through phone, email and other communications to internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of age required.
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Possess strong trouble shooting abilities to identify, evaluate and correct problems related to specimen quality, integrity, and appropriateness for requested orders required.
- Ability to concentrate for long periods of time, utilize good judgment, work accurately under pressure and handle stress to meet deadlines required.
- Computer experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in clinical laboratory medicine preferred.
- Direct patient care experience preferred.

Proton Physicist Description:
Serve as Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist to support our Proton Therapy Program. Collaborating with clinical and medical staff on treatment simulation, planning, and the supervision of proton treatment delivery. Responsibilities also include performing equipment QA, coordinating quality and safety programs, working with service engineers, and contributing to clinical research efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical physics or PhD in Physics required.
- Acquire full ABR Board certification in Therapy Medical Physics within 5 years of employment required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum two years Proton therapy experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in treatment planning with RayStation TPS preferred.
- ABR Board Certification in Therapy Medical Physics preferred.

Bellevue Medical Center, part of Nebraska Medicine, is an 80-bed community hospital located in Bellevue, Nebraska. As a private, not-for-profit healthcare organization affiliated with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, we provide a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services.
Our Operating Room currently consists of six surgical suites and will expand to eight suites in fall/winter 2026. The surgical team provides care across multiple specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, surgical oncology, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our growing perioperative team and support the continued expansion of surgical services at Bellevue Medical Center. We are excited to expand our team!

Duties: Surgical Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient Pharmacy:
Responsible for medication management for the pharmacy, nursing units and operating rooms including but not limited to ordering, receiving, sorting, distributing medications. Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide excellent customer service and patient care in accordance with assigned duties. Create and utilize medication usage reports to analyze data for effective inventory control. Manage incoming telephone calls from inpatient units, and triage calls appropriately utilizing excellent customer service skills. Receive orders, select proper drug, and prepare dosage form and strength. Practice sterile compounding for immediate usage as well as non-sterile compounding of oral liquids and topicals. Calculate patient's IV infusion due times, reorder as needed and collaborate with providers, physicians, and pharmacists recommending medication concentrations.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 18 years of age required.
High school education or equivalent required.
Licensed Nebraska pharmacy intern or registered as a pharmacy technician with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy required.
If registered as a Pharmacy Technician, certification within twelve months of registration date required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior pharmacy technician or hospital setting experience preferred.
Medical terminology and knowledge of top 200 medications prescribed preferred.
Proficient knowledge of computers, automated dispensing cabinets (Omnicell), calculators, electronic medical record (EPIC), various computerized and mechanical devices necessary for product preparation and dispensing (e.g., scales, strip packager, magnetic stirrer, etc.) preferred.

Medical Receptionist Description:
Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming patients and others, (in person, at the check-in desk, or via the telephone). Responsible for answering incoming calls in a professional manner, and/or checking in / out patients per established protocols. Required Qualifications:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to withstand a very stressful and fast-paced environment.

- lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist.
- lift up to 20 lbs. over the head.
- carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
- Must be able to:
- push/pull with 30 lbs. of force.
- perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Required to use foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Exposed to the following hazards on a continuous basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, radiation, blood and body fluids.
- Must have functional sight and hearing.
- Required to wear masks, gloves, goggles, and gowns.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders and twist frequently during work shift.
- Must be able to operate all equipment essential to performing the duties of the job.
