JOB SUMMARY
- Performs clerical, reception, scheduling and patient financial account functions in the ambulatory care setting. Assists in coordinating primary health care services to a large outpatient client population.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent is preferred. Previous training in general medical office skills and procedures preferred. Proficient and knowledgeable of medical terminology is preferred, but not required.
- Experience: One to two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred. Experience may include cashier, basic account posting, billing, filing, reception, telephone, or computer operations.

As a Patient Care Technician with Sentara Health, you will have the opportunity to learn many new skills. From taking vitals to blood draws and daily care. The primary duties of this position include supporting the admission/discharge process, changing, bathing ambulating patients, drawing blood, foley catheter care, meeting patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse. - Successful completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

- Emergency Services to include EMR, EMS, EMT, AEMT and Paramedic
- Current student enrolled in a clinical program having completed at least one semester of a (RN, LPN, RT or PT) or current work experience within last three years as a PCT or Nursing Assistant.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.93 - $27.41 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

JOB SUMMARY
- The Oncology Patient Navigator assists physicians and Disease Site Management Teams in integrating the various aspects of treatment and support for cancer patients and their caregivers from the time of diagnosis through treatment and recovery. Helps to present the menu of interventions and continuum of care options and serves as a link to Medical Center and community services for patients, families and caregivers. Essential Functions

9. Produces diagnostic quality images utilizing CT equipment and effectively judges CT images for proper technique to best demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Performs critical procedures under stress during emergency procedures.
10. If applicable, performs diagnostic studies using mobile radiographic equipment in emergency or patient rooms as ordered by physician. Performs diagnostic studies in surgical suite with C-Arm and other equipment.
11. Provides care specific to the needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
12. May perform IV insertion/blood draws.
13. Administer IV/Oral/Rectal contrast for CT imaging procedures per radiologist protocol/department manual and ordering physician/care provider order.

Hours: Schedule can be either four 9-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts with start time of 8am.
Required Call: every 4th weekend from 8am to noon on Saturday and Sunday.
Must live within 30 minutes of the facility for call purposes.
The Senior Vascular Lab Technologist assists with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, achievement of operating center goals and objectives, customer satisfaction and in meeting regulatory requirements through providing technical expertise within assigned area. Serves as a technical resource for other team members through participation in quality control and improvement/evaluation activities, staff development activities, and daily support to team members. Assists Team Coordinator/Manager/Director with facilitating and monitoring the work processes of the Peripheral Vascular Lab.
The Sentara RMH Medical Center echocardiography and vascular lab is considered high volume with close to 9,500 procedures performed annually. The lab works closely with our invasive cardiology (structural heart, electrophysiology, diagnostic/interventional cath) and cardiothoracic surgery services. Each Team member is expected to perform about 7 exams per day. Preliminary reports are generated in ProSolv (Structured Report SW Application). Clinical equipment include state of the art Philips Epic ultrasound systems and EPIC (electronic medical record). Both inpatient and outpatient echo services are located on the Sentara RMH Medical Center main campus within the non-invasive cardiology lab.

Job Summary
Evaluates, plans, directs, and administers programs of Physical Therapy upon referral by the physician. - Evaluates patients and establishes appropriate patient care plan to include necessary modalities, procedures, exercise programs, and patient education as warranted by the patient's diagnosis and condition.

- Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, daily treatment notes, attendance records, patient/family education, outcomes, discharge notes, and charges.

Physical Requirements
Hearing (corrected) adequate for oral/aural communication. Vision (corrected) adequate for reading. Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills to perform job duties. Sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the day. Job duties sometimes require climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, bending; on occasion, crouching, crawling and reaching overhead. Lifting of patients, equipment or supplies will be required up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Able to laterally transfer patients 100 pounds rarely. JOB SUMMARY
Provides patient focused customer service. Performs outpatient & or inpatient registration & insurance verification functions; collects patient financial liability payments & ensures that patients meet financial requirements including Medicare medical necessity, payer pre-certifications & referrals. Provides general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire.
Additional Qualifications Medical terminology required & knowledge of diagnostic & procedural coding Insurance verification with the ability to explain benefits, secure necessary authorizations
Patient Access Account Specialist Additional minimum qualification of two plus (2+) years hospital registration or insurance verification experience. Uses specialized knowledge to support key areas of the organization related to an area of expertise. Uses data, research analysis, critical thinking & problem-solving skills to support colleagues & leadership in achieving organization’s strategic objectives. Serves as a peer influencer & may direct a project or project team by applying industry experience & specialized knowledge. Responsible for analyzing, processing & editing for correctness based on payer guidelines. Resolves items & ensures claims are billed accurately. Processes payments timely.
PAR I Entry level position. Minimum one (1) year customer service experience. Patient Access experience preferred. PAR II Performs PAR I role & is cross trained & performs activities in Pre-Service, Emergency Department & / or Bed Desk. Additional minimum qualifications: Minimum of two (2) years hospital registration or insurance verification experience upon hire. Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic coding & procedural coding required. Ability to explain insurance benefits.
