Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to join our community hospital Radiology team in Plymouth, Indiana. This PRN opportunity offers flexibility to support work–life balance while providing the chance to earn extra income. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring exceptional patient care.
About the Role
The Radiologic Technologist performs a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards established by the Indiana Department of Public Health. This position requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
Here’s What You’ll Do
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams following ALARA safety standards
- Produce high‑quality images using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic equipment
- Assist radiologists and support fluoroscopic procedures
- Safely position, transfer, and care for patients across all age groups
- Prepare patients and exam rooms; explain procedures clearly
- Administer contrast media and respond to adverse reactions as needed
- Accurately document exams and maintain compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations
- Maintain imaging equipment and a clean, well‑stocked work environment
- Collaborate professionally with physicians and care teams

About the job: Multi-skilled Technician under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities. Actively demonstrates the organization’s mission and core values and conducts oneself at all times in a manner consistent with these values. Knows and adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety and medical information. (For patient care providers) Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including taking blood glucose measurements, recording intake and output, assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and eating. Performs ordered EKGs according to policy and per documented training and competency assessment. Performs Phlebotomy duties according to policy and per documented training and competency assessment. Assists with keeping patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly. Attends required in-services, workshops, retreats, staff meetings. Participates in and fosters a performance improvement approach that includes both intradepartmental and interdepartmental activities. Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.
Education: The level of knowledge ordinarily acquired through the completion of high school level courses.
Ability to read, write, and spell English and perform simple arithmetic calculations.
Licensure:
• Successful completion of EKG and Phlebotomy course upon hire or transfer.
• Successful completion of the initial clinical competency requirements in order to perform independently.
• CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
Experience: Previous patient care experience and/or technical education in health-related field preferred.

Position Summary / Career Interest:
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is an important member of the physician's care team and critical for creating a pleasant and seamless patient experience within an ambulatory clinic. This work role is responsible for front desk operations including greeting and checking in customers and visitors, answering calls, copay collection, completing MyChart and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) appointment requests, processing external medical records and helping the physician care team prepare for their daily patient appointments. - Pre-Visit SchedulingSchedule internal and external incoming department referrals.
- Schedules in person appointments, telehealth visits, surgeries, procedures and/or ancillary services using Epic Cadence decision trees.

JOB SUMMARY

- Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking. Point of Care testing (POCT) per standing order/provider order. Completes Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) approved waived laboratory tests and practice-specific diagnostic testing in adherence to CLIA standards.
- Administers medications and vaccines safely following the rights of medication administration.

Prevents creation of duplicate medical records that can cause treatment safety issues and billing problems. - Checks in and registers patients; obtains and verifies complete demographic, guarantor, and insurance information; discusses and collects co-pays and other out-of-pocket patient responsibilities. Obtaining accurate information at the point of registration helps ensure timely payment to the organization and prevents billing issues and patient complaints. Maintains complete confidentiality regarding patient personal/financial information and medical records in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Knows insurance basics and recognizes commercial and government plans. Understands which plans Advocate Health contracts with and when a statement of financial responsibility is needed. Transition to Practice/Nurse Residency Program
This 10-week TTP program focuses on the orientation transition experience with intentional knowledge support and skill acquisition for practice in Medical-Surgical areas. For new graduates, this TTP program is the start of a comprehensive 6-month residency program to support your transition to practice.
Program includes:
• Formal delivery of fundamental nursing concepts and standards with in-person sessions utilizing case studies, gaming, simulation, and skills labs
• Exposure to Sentara policies and evidence-based practice guidelines
• Hands-on experience alongside a trained nurse preceptor
• Opportunity to share your experiences/ networking with peers in a safe, protected environment
• A series of virtual professional development sessions with mentoring (optional for experienced nurses)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist to join our LDRP team in The Family Birth Center in Harrisonburg, VA!
Schedules available: Block Scheduling.
First Shift: 3am - 3pm. 24 hours per week, 2 twelve-hour shifts. Every 3rd weekend rotation.
Second Shift: 3pm-3am. 24 hours per week, 2 twelve-hour shifts. Every 3rd weekend rotation.
Call Requirement: Self-scheduled and varies based on unit needs. Must be within 30 minutes of the facility for on call requirements.
The department will train for OB. Training can take between 8 and 12 weeks.
About the LDRP:
Sentara RMH Medical Centers Family Birthplace includes 10 private bed L&D, and a 20 bed post-partum mother/baby. Our Level 2 newborn specialty care nursery has a 1 to 1 ratio while our intermediate care babies have a 1 to 3 nursing ratio. Our LDRP unit also offers post operative care for complex GYN and Breast surgical needs. This specialty area has a 100-member team cross trained to offer best in class healthcare to Harrisonburg, VA, and surrounding areas. The schedule is primarily 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holiday requirements. OB Tech: Under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse, responsible for assisting in the nursing care and surgical services in the maternity services area including the provision of patient care necessary for comfort, hygiene, data collection, and documentation. Activities are based on accepted standards of operating room and obstetrical practice and are performed within the scope of education, training, and experience.
Will assist in newborn testing, function as surgical technician during operating room procedure, newborn procedure and post labor surgical repairs
Education
Trade School Graduate of Surgical Technology or/ Licensed Practical nurse program.
Certification/Licensure
Certified Surgical Technologist preferred OR Licensed Practical Nurse
BLS within 90 days of hire
Experience
1 year of experience as an LPN or Surgical Tech required
1 year of Operating Room experience preferred
Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols.
