- If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed, due to training on the job or trained in the military – Five (5) years’ work experience is required
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
- Ability to complete the orientation and training. We have different options to choose from that will meet your schedule.

Starting a career in health care can be as easy as C-N-A.
Announcing our new PAID CNA Training Program . We pay your tuition and pay YOU while attending CNA class!
You’ll be hired as a Care Asst ($17.79/hour + shift differential) and after successful employment for 60 - 90 days we refer you to CNA classes. You will earn $13.50 an hour while in class and a CNA certification! Upon successful class completion, you will be offered a full-time position while earning an increased CNA wage as you are working on the state exam.
How does it work?
Must be 18 years old. and have 1 - 1 1/2 years of professional caregiving experience. High school degree plus additional education classes preferred.
If selected to participate in the CNA training program, after 60 -90 days of successful employment, tuition and examination fees are paid by Trinity Health Senior Communities.
The CNA course consists of a 3-week (80 hours) program which comprises a combination of paid online classroom, lab hours and on-the job-training.
Program Requirements - Students must be available to work any shift, daily attendance is required, an 18 month employment commitment letter will be signed at orientation.

Position Purpose:
Our HHA/CNA provides paraprofessional services to the organization’s home care clients as developed by the primary nurse and as prescribed by their physician and in compliance with the state’s Nurse Practice Act, and any other regulations defining home health aide / hospice aide services.
Position Highlights:
Follows care plan developed by RN.
Reports client changes in condition to RN, as described on care plan.
Assists clients with household tasks including, planning, and preparing meals, feeding, light housekeeping, changing linens, making bed, and laundering clothes and bedding.
Measures and records client’s oral, rectal, and axillary temperatures, pulse respiration and blood pressure as ordered.
Performs range of motion and other simple procedures as an extension of therapy services as assigned.
Assists clients with use of equipment (side rails, foot stools, wheelchairs, etc.) to meet safety needs.
Performs or assists clients to perform activities in accordance with the personal care services plan, such as changing ostomy appliances or external catheter care.
Participates in multi-disciplinary case conferences as appropriate.
Accurately documents services provided in accordance with agency policy on day services are rendered.
Submits documentation in a timely manner.
Complies with agency policies and procedures.
Works with scheduling to assure accurate and up to date schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsible for handling a variety of routine to moderately complex legal matters or projects. Essential Functions

Data Management and Analysis: Research and compiles information to support ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives. Synthesizes and analyzes data and provides detailed summaries including graphical data presentations illustrating trends and recommending practical options or solutions while considering the impact on business strategy and supporting leadership decision making. Leverages program and operational data and measurements to define and demonstrate progress, ROI and impacts.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, state and local laws/regulations, Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires paralegal certificate, degree in paralegal studies or a Bachelor’s degree in a health related field.
- Five (5) or more years of experience working in a law firm and/or corporate legal department with an emphasis on corporate health care preferred.
- Experience in corporate records and transactions preferred.
- Experience with legal research, filing and processing legal documents.
- Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Physical and Mental Requirements and Working Conditions

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
6-East is a Cardiology unit, which consists of 26 Intermediate Carebeds and 6 Cardiac Intensive Care beds. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) typically receives the critically ill cardiac patients, which would include patients having an ST elevation Myocardial Infarction, cardiogenic shock; post cardiac arrest requiring mechanical ventilation or therapeutic hypothermia. They also accept patients who require specialized equipment such as an Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) or a Swan Ganz catheter, and patients who are hemodynamically unstable and require IV pressors. The CICU can also take the overflow patients from the Medical Intensive Care Unit or the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
SUMMARY:
Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. Consistently integrates concepts of relationship based care into practice. Serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit. Assumes accountability for nursing care of designated patients. Demonstrates unit/area-designated competencies.

The Imaging Tech Assistant contributes to workflow efficiency, patient comfort, and quality outcomes by assisting with exam preparation, patient positioning, and departmental operations in alignment with Trinity Health’s commitment to relationship-centered care.
What the Imaging Tech Assistant will do:
Patient Care & Support
- Assist with direct patient care under supervision, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety at all times
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding procedures, delays, and expectations to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation
- Verify patient identity using standard protocols (name, DOB, MRN) and confirm the ordered exam
- Prepare patients for imaging exams, including positioning and assisting with transfers
- Perform delegated clinical tasks, which may include:
- Venipuncture, IV start/discontinuation
- Point-of-care testing (POCT)
- MRI screening and completion of required forms (e.g., contrast, history)
- Monitor patient status and promptly escalate concerns to technologists, nurses, or radiologists

Under the direction of a technologist or radiologist, the Imaging Tech Assistant supports safe, efficient, and patient-centered imaging services. This role provides direct patient care that is sensitive to age, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs, while ensuring a clean, safe, and supportive care environment.
The Imaging Tech Assistant contributes to workflow efficiency, patient comfort, and quality outcomes by assisting with exam preparation, patient positioning, and departmental operations in alignment with Trinity Health’s commitment to relationship-centered care.
What the Imaging Tech Assistant will do:
Patient Care & Support
- Assist with direct patient care under supervision, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety at all times
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding procedures, delays, and expectations to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation
- Verify patient identity using standard protocols (name, DOB, MRN) and confirm the ordered exam
- Prepare patients for imaging exams, including positioning and assisting with transfers
- Perform delegated clinical tasks, which may include:Venipuncture, IV start/discontinuationPoint-of-care testing (POCT)MRI screening and completion of required forms (e.g., contrast, history)
- Monitor patient status and promptly escalate concerns to technologists, nurses, or radiologists
Workflow & Clinical Operations
- Assist with patient transport and flow throughout the department
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for procedures
- Obtain and review relevant patient information (e.g., history, labs, allergies, prior imaging, implants)
- Accurately document patient data in systems such as PACS, RIS, and electronic health records
- Ensure specimens are properly labeled and delivered to the laboratory (if applicable)
Environment, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
- Follow infection prevention protocols, including appropriate use of PPE
- Adhere to MRI safety and/or radiation safety standards as applicable
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Report safety concerns, near misses, or incidents per organizational policy
Professional Development
- Participate in required training, including:
- MRI and/or radiation safety
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Annual mandatory education
- Engage in ongoing learning to maintain and enhance skills
What the Imaging Tech Assistant will need:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, caregiving, or support role involving direct interaction with individuals.
- Basic computer proficiency, including use of email, internet browsers, and standard workplace applications. Ability to learn and navigate electronic health record (EHR) systems and imaging software (e.g., RIS, PACS) with training.
- Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), EMT, or equivalent healthcare certification; or Enrollment in or completion of a healthcare-related training program (e.g., Radiologic Technology, Nursing, Medical Assistant, or similar)
- Preferred: At least Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare or patient-facing environment; experience assisting with basic patient care activities; exposure to hospital or clinical settings; familiarity with electronic health record systems

Bronson South Haven Hospital and Bronson Lakeview Hospital employees who are approved to work in a Swing Bed Facility only: Employees may be expected to cover shifts at Bronson Lakeview Hospital and/or Bronson South Haven Hospital depending on patient acuity and staffing needs.
Virtual Registered Nurse (VRN) Role: The virtual registered nurse leverages technology to deliver patient care remotely, collaborating with bedside staff and the broader care team to ensure quality outcomes and timely discharge. Core responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Conducting admission screening, patient/family education, discharge planning, and medication dual acknowledgments via secure digital platforms.
- Completing diagnostic testing questionnaires and supporting patient safety initiatives.

Pharmacy Technician III:
Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and according to policies, procedures and guidelines established within the organization, the department and the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the Pharmacy Technician III assists pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing IV admixtures by interpreting, transcribing, and preparing medication(s) for dispensing. The Pharmacy Technician III is a role that builds upon the skills and competencies of the Pharmacy Technician I and Pharmacy Technician II as part of a professional career pathway. Pharmacy Technician I:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 3-6 months of experience and/or training in hospital, retail pharmacy or elsewhere - OR - equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- If not previously trained, a 3-month formal training in pharmacy procedures is preferred.
- Temporary or permanent Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required upon hire with permanent Michigan Pharmacy Tech licensure required within one year from issuance of temporary license. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is required by the State of Michigan to transition from temporary to permanent licensure. Failure to obtain permanent licensure in required timeframe would end employment.
- Students currently enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy with a valid pharmacy intern license are not required to have Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Burn Tech, Part-Time Days, Bronson Methodist HospitalUnder the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and in accordance with defined policies and procedures for the unit, the Trauma Care Unit Burn Tech provides technical patient care to a defined patient population, as assigned by the Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of tasks related to burn care therapy and preparation of patients for operating procedures. Must have good knowledge of infection control techniques. Job training includes current burn care management techniques and wound care procedures. Duties may also include the performance of basic technical skills not requiring licensure, such as, but not limited to: gathering patient data, assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), transporting patients, supporting department maintenance activities (stocking patient rooms, moving equipment, ordering and procuring supplies, etc.), providing basic customer services (directions, visitor control, and other functions), as needed. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.
Orientation Requirement
Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN team members must be able to commit to full-time orientation hours during the first 6–8 weeks of employment.
Orientation consists of three 12-hour day shifts (6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.) each week.

Respiratory Care Extern - Variable 12hr shifts, PRN - (Bronson Methodist Hospital)Under general and direct supervision, the Respiratory Care Extern works with the LRT to administer basic respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities and deficiencies according to physician prescription and/or established organization policies, procedures, and guidelines. The Respiratory Care Extern is responsible for communicating learning needs to the LRT partner. The Respiratory Care Extern is accountable, under the direction of an LRT, for setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and providing selected aspects of patient care within established Bronson Respiratory Care Extern Scope of Practice. The Respiratory Care Extern performs routine respiratory care procedures according to established standards in General Patient Care areas. The Respiratory Care Extern works under direct supervision of a LRT in the Critical Care Units. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.Enrolled and maintaining satisfactory progress after one year in an accredited program for Respiratory Care to perform in General Patient Care areas required. Enrolled and maintaining satisfactory progress in the final clinical semester of an accredited program for Respiratory Care to work in the Critical Care areas under the direct supervision of a LRT required. Successful completion of the Respiratory Department requirements for orientation which includes Hospital, Core, and Department specific orientation. Satisfactory performance on the respiratory care medication competency test. Current BLS certification • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze data from various computer systems and equipment in order to set an appropriate plan of action • Must be able to constantly communicate both verbally and in writing. Activities and treatments must be recorded in an accurate manner and technical information and instructions must be communicated to patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team. • Excellence in internal and external customer service must be demonstrated. Work which produces high levels of mental/visual fatigue, e.g., interactive and repetitive or small detailed work requiring alertness and concentration for sustained periods of time, the operation of and full attention to a personal computer or CRT between 40 and 70 percent of the time. Clinical Dietitian - Inpatient Full TimeThe clinical dietitian serves as a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team and provides patient-centered care. The dietitian assesses nutrition needs; develops and implements nutrition care plans; evaluates and reports the results appropriately; interprets, evaluates, and utilizes pertinent and current research related to nutrition care; and coordinates activities according to department policies and procedures and the goals for the healthcare team. The dietitian is accountable for setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and promoting the achievement of positive patient outcomes. In addition to working with the healthcare team, the dietitian will also interact with patients, caregivers, and families.
Utilizing a team-based approach, the dietitian provides highly proficient care, utilizing evidence-based guidelines, which is patient-centered and supportive of diversity and cultural factors. The dietitian is responsible for patient, community, and staff education programs (individual or group) as needed and is an active participant in improving the health and well-being of the community. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate skills and competencies specific to the population served.
- Qualifications:
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
• Possess a master’s degree if becoming a Registered Dietitian in 2024 and thereafter (RDs who graduated prior to 2024 are not required to possess a graduate degree).
• Completion of a supervised practice program (Dietetic Internship Program, Individual Supervised Practice Pathway, Coordinated Program, Future Graduates Program, and International Dietitian Education Program) accredited by Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
• Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) within 6 months of hire.
• Additional certification or progress toward certification completion, education, and experience may be required depending on the specific department and position (i.e., Diabetes Education requires applicants to obtain CDCES credentials and complete insulin pump training and certifications).
Clinical Skills:
• Utilizes nutrition screening criteria and reviews medical records of individual patients to identify patients with increased nutritional risk including in-patients on assigned units, patients with scheduled visits in assigned clinics, and patients scheduled for outpatient nutrition counseling.
• Identifies ongoing risk for nutritional problems through regular review of anthropometric, biochemical and laboratory data; documentation of feeding skills; records of parenteral, enteral, and oral intake, diagnosis, or presence of chronic diseases or conditions associated with nutritional risk throughout patient’s hospitalization and outpatient’s course of treatment.
• Documents nutritional assessment by evaluation and interpretation of nutritional intake data; physical, anthropometric, biochemical and laboratory data; normal, immature, and dysfunctional and behavioral aspects of feedings skills; and clinical signs and symptoms of nutritional deficiency, inadequacy, excess or toxicity.
• Establishes and documents the nutritional plan of care for individual patients by identifying nutritional problems and prescribing nutrition interventions that are age- and disease-specific and incorporates these into the patients’ overall plans of care.
• Reviews medical record and observes patient for response to nutritional plan of care and for changes that indicate unresolved or presence of new nutrition problem(s) and adjusts nutritional aspects of the patient’s plan of care accordingly.
• Maintains knowledge of dietary guidelines and nutritional standards of care in health and disease and applies these guidelines to patient care and patient education.
• Assesses patient/family teaching needs and develops and documents a teaching plan with patient focused outcomes identified.
• Participates in developing and documenting a plan for discharge or discontinuation of care. Maintains knowledge of progression toward discharge and updates nutrition plan as necessary.
• Documents plan for follow up with qualifying and/or quantifying statements (identifies what, when and where follow-up, if any, will occur).
• Provides phone follow-up when indicated and assists in the continuity of care with primary care providers and dietitians providing follow-up care.
• Reviews medical records of individual patients to collect and analyze nutrition related data for Process Improvement and/or Compliance.
• Additional skills and competencies may be required depending on the specific department and area of practice (i.e., nutrition-focused physical exam, motivational interviewing, and MNT/DSME billing in outpatient care areas).
Professional Skills:
• Demonstrate a high degree of competency with computers, including the ability to use an Electronic Medical Record (training will be provided) and is proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Admission Unit Clerk-PT Nights-1Under the supervision of the Unit Leadership, the Unit Clerk/Receptionist performs clerical and receptionist functions for the unit. Duties include preparing and compiling records on the nursing unit, coordinating unit communication systems (e.g. phones, nurse call system, hospital information systems); relaying information; maintaining optimal public relations; assisting in maintaining supplies, equipment and overall unit environment and other duties as assigned by the Unit Leadership. Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Ability to successfully complete the organizations' competency requirements for English, writing, spelling and reading comprehension. Ability to successfully complete the hospital’s orientation, core orientation and unit specific orientation.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to input and retrieve data from the organization's computerized systems.
• The organizational skills to maintain records and orderly filing systems and to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and all members of the care delivery team.

- Registers patients/customers and confirms patient/guarantor demographic and insurance information.
- Completes all required fields in practice management system
- Determines patient co-payments (utilizing electronic insurance verification system) and collects payments on amounts due (current and past).
- Enter charges/payments into MISYS/Tiger system (or other practice management system).
- Prepares encounter form(s) for charge entry for services rendered using the correct ICD-9 and CPT codes as they relate to Codescan.
- Schedules and coordinates patient appointments, tests, and referrals according to office/provider preferences and the needs of patients.
- Answers telephones, takes messages, routes callers, and provides/relays information in a manner consistent with service standards.
- Maintains patient medical records according to current required standards.
- Obtains patient authorization for transfer of any/all private health information.
- Maintains patient confidentiality of data and information.
- Performs basic office duties such as sorting/distributing mail, copying, filing, faxing, ordering supplies, and completing forms, as needed.
- Performs basic composition of letters and reports. Formats, types and proofreads standard correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Maintains a clean unit environment/work area and communicates any equipment malfunction/problem to appropriate personnel.
- Maintains accountability for special projects as assigned.
- Performs such individual assignments as management may direct. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization.

- Maintains unsupervised access to the unit medication room(s) for stocking and/or retrieving supplies.
Practice Centralized Services: Additional duties may include; department focuses on demographic and insurance entry for all clinical patients, reviews accounts for missing and inaccurate information and communicates with office staff at each location to ensure accurate registration for patients who are new to Bronson, who have not been seen in over a year, have an account that raises a flag, has inactive insurance or is marked as an auto/workers comp

Unit Clerk OB PRNUnder the supervision of the Unit Leadership, the Unit Clerk/Receptionist performs clerical and receptionist functions for the unit. Duties include preparing and compiling records on the nursing unit, coordinating unit communication systems (e.g. phones, nurse call system, hospital information systems); relaying information; maintaining optimal public relations; assisting in maintaining supplies, equipment and overall unit environment and other duties as assigned by the Unit Leadership. The Patient Safety Assistant will demonstrate appropriate communication skills with patient/patient family and other healthcare providers, and practice confidentiality and safety procedures as defined by agency. The Patient Safety Assistant provides services in accordance with policy and procedure manuals. - Maintain appropriate knowledge level to assist in patient turns and assist in patient transfer to commode/bathroom.
