Position Purpose:
This position will support the critical care cohorts of our Nurse Residency Program.
In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Nurse Educator, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization. The Nurse Educator provides consultation and education to patients, families, staff and physicians regarding the care of patients, assumes a leadership role in issues relating to patient care and acts as a change agent to support institutional initiatives pertaining to the care of patients.
What You Will Do:
RN Residency Program:
- Strategically supports the system nurse residency program.
- Standardize educational design across all participating practice settings without program deviation or variability.
- Maintain integrity of program structures and processes in all participating practice settings.
- Coordinates the practice setting curriculums across all sites within the program.
- Develop strategies to strengthen the practice environment according to Practice Transition Accreditation Program, (PTAP) guidelines.
- Assesses the learning needs of associates within patient care settings in order to plan, organize, coordinate and participate in development and/or teaching of programs to meet those identified needs.
- Acts as a resource for staff regarding critical thinking, equipment use and problem solving regarding clinical situations.
- Develops, reviews, and revises standards of care, policies, procedures, practice guidelines, classes, and protocols of care to reflect current evidence-based practice and changing technology.
- May develop patient education materials that are easy-to-read/understand and culturally sensitive to ensure clinicians have the resources essential to support the educational need of the patient, family and community. Utilizes all available platforms including written, electronic and web-based services to provide education and promote learning including collaboration with other organizations on language access services to encompass diverse patient populations.
- Education plan development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Licensure / Certification: Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio; Professional certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent experience in area of specialization preferred.

Position Purpose:
Mailroom Clerk executes, in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the established guidelines and procedures of the Mount Carmel Health System's document control processes.
What You Will Do:
- Opens, sorts and delivers incoming correspondence to appropriate internal departments or mailboxes within established service timeframes.
- Retrieves and distributes requested records as needed
- Assembles and prepares for mailing any applicable correspondence generated
- Maintain data entry of information into the record system to locate all personnel and departments located at the Corporate Services Center
- Provides additional support acting in the capacity of receptionist for the building guests and Staff
- Processes and tracks returned mail and collaborates with departments to correct data and formatting errors to ensure successful delivery of mail as required by CMS
- Corresponds with vendors to resolve service issues with mail room equipment
- Scans and organizes documents to ensure compliant processing of time sensitive materials
- Assists with voicemail retrieval and handling for member and provider inquiries
- All other duties as assigned.

- Licensure: ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), equivalent certification or Registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates must obtain registry status within 12 months of hire. CPR certification.
- Experience: Completion of at least two years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in radiologic technology, ultrasonography, other related education, or on the job training.

What you will do:

- 5. Postoperative – The surgical assistant applies any other specific dressing material such as splints or casts, assesses skin integrity, assists in transfer of the patient and follows the patient to recovery if needed or directed by surgeon.
- 6. Specialty Procedures – The surgical assistant who has appropriate training also performs under surgeon supervision other procedures including but not limited to: vein and graft harvesting and graft and implant preparationPractices performance improvement standards and promotes staff participation in PI activities.
- 8. Evaluates the patient’s response to care delivered and the level of outcome achievement.
- 9. Applies theoretical knowledge of asepsis, wound healing, infectious diseases process, surgical anatomy and physiology, safety issues and operative techniques for surgical procedures on which he/she assists.
- 10. Additional Duties – The surgical assistant performs additional duties as delegated by the surgeon or facility in cooperation with state and local policy.
- 11. Performs other related duties as assigned or as workload or staffing variations require.

As a Senior Housekeeping EVS Associate, you will be an important part of the overall patient experience, by helping to provide a safe, comfortable environment for our patients. This position conducts heavy cleaning and floor care work such as carpet cleaning, stripping/refinishing hard floor surfaces, and special projects. Operates and maintains power cleaning equipment and responds to assigned service requests such as project cleaning, equipment removal, trash or linen removal. Sets an example of excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and clean environment and identifying safety issues related to housekeeping.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Responds promptly to all requests for cleaning services via computerized and paper based tracking systems. Conducts requested work, such as removal, replacement, cleaning of equipment and furniture, or cleaning of an area. Maintains reports by keeping task and infection control logs of completed daily tasks and events, and documentation required for the request tracking system. Focuses on, and serves as a role model of, responsive customer service.
2. Performs specialty cleaning and infection control functions in specialized areas such as clinical areas, surgical suite, Cath lab, specialty rooms, and sterile areas. Conduct specialized gowning and cleaning procedures specific to infectious elements in isolation rooms. Maintains proper Infection Control cleaning standards at all times, including hand hygiene requirements.
3. Maintains cleanliness and operational functioning of department equipment and notifies appropriate personnel of needed repairs. Protects equipment from damage by proper use and properly logs out and in equipment that is used.
4. Assesses environmental conditions to ensure that the facility is neat, clean, safe and orderly. Anticipates and resolves clutter and safety issues. Exercises judgment in deciding which problems need to be quickly referred to a Supervisor for assistance. Maintains communication with immediate supervisor and/or facilities services staff, about status of repair completion in the facility; follows up as assigned.
5. Provides leadership for less experienced associates. May assist with on-the-job training for other staff in cleaning techniques, chemical usage, supply restocking, and infection control procedures including hand hygiene. Focuses on and serves as a role model of responsive customer service.
6. Performs scheduled floor care procedures including dust mopping, mopping, stripping and refinishing, burnishing, and carpet extraction. Calculates quantities and mix ratio of cleaning chemicals.
7. Works under regular supervision within assigned facility. Internal customers include staff, physicians, nurses, patients, visitors, supervisors, managers, and executives. External customers include visitors, patients, and employees from other facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires the skills, knowledge and abilities normally acquired over one to two years of diversified environmental service work experience in a health care or institutional setting. Must have a working knowledge of how to operate typical industrial cleaning equipment and the use of cleaning techniques appropriate to the healthcare environment. Must have basic math skills. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing to provide instructions and information to others. Must be able to interpret and respond appropriately to verbal and written instructions. Must accomplish assigned work despite frequent interruptions and changing priorities, and have the ability to multi-task in coordinating several projects simultaneously. This position will support the perinatal cohorts of our Nurse Residency Program.

What You Will Do:
RN Residency Program:
- Strategically supports the system nurse residency program.
- Standardize educational design across all participating practice settings without program deviation or variability.
- Maintain integrity of program structures and processes in all participating practice settings.
- Coordinates the practice setting curriculums across all sites within the program.
- Develop strategies to strengthen the practice environment according to Practice Transition Accreditation Program, (PTAP) guidelines.
- Assesses the learning needs of associates within patient care settings in order to plan, organize, coordinate and participate in development and/or teaching of programs to meet those identified needs.
- Acts as a resource for staff regarding critical thinking, equipment use and problem solving regarding clinical situations.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Pharmacy Technician II – Advanced (certified and licensed) provides safe, quality technical and non-technical functions which assist in provision of pharmaceutical care under the supervision and direction of a registered pharmacist in accordance with level of experience, education, policies and procedures.
Provides expanded knowledge and experience of the Pharmacy Technician I – General role. Work includes complex sterile and non-sterile compounding, program and quality assurance activities and / or billing. May mentor and/or precept lower-level colleagues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Pharmacy Practice - Acts independently and appropriately within license, scope of knowledge and experience in practice area. Exhibits agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities for role and competence.
Quality and Compliance - Monitors quality assurance activities and issues, and identifies opportunities (e.g., patient care area inspections, sterile and non-sterile compounding, drug diversion) for improvements. Supports auditing for standard work.
Pharmacy Operations - Performs in an administrative role (e.g., data gathering, authorizations) to coordinate and facilitate patient care. Competent in unit dose medication preparation, distribution, and basic to complex (e.g., TPNs, chemotherapy) sterile and non-sterile compounding. Knowledgeable about specialized pharmacy programs (e.g., medication reconciliation). Maintains accurate charging, crediting, and billing records. Dedicated work (approximately 25-50% of time) in performing functions that require advanced skill and training (e.g., complex sterile and non-sterile compounding).
Automation and Technology - Supports the operation and care of specialized pharmaceutical equipment. Actively interacts and communicates with all internal departments on general to broad pharmacy-related issues and requests.
Professional Development - Participates in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, licenses, and certifications, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate assistance or educational offerings.
Procurement - Participates in the drug procurement process (e.g., receiving, packaging, distribution, stocking, storage, recalls).
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
