Schedule's:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7:30am to 6:00pm, Call and holiday rotation. Adult and pediatric ER, OR, inpatients, outpatients and fluoroscopy procedures.
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 7:30am to 6:00pm. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Will float to OR, ER, Adult Fluoro, Peds Fluoro, coordinator, and floats.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8:00pm to 5:30am. 4 days a week with 9 hour shifts. 36 hours a week. Will float to OR, ER, Inpatients, adult and pediatric imaging and fluoroscopy.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 6:30am to 5:00pm. Holiday and Call rotation. OR, ER, Inpatients, Fluoro.

This position performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.
2. Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed as well as risk factors and prevention. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes
3. Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.
4. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies.
5. Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements. Demonstrates the ability to trouble shoot and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to safety policies.
6. Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice. This includes maintaining confidentiality of all work information.
7. Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department by performing other duties as assigned. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services.
8. Independently performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols to patients. Internal customers: All levels of medical imaging and nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program.
Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable. BLS certification required.
This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 1 year of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

This Per Diem as needed, Ultrasound Technologist position at Banner Churchill. Scans include, abdomen, pelvic, vascular and more. Volumes vary day to day but average 15 per day.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures for one Ultrasound certification.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs all exams by following and verifying referring providers’ orders. Adheres to established protocols and provides all pertinent patient information utilized by Radiologist for complete dictation. Uses independent judgement and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures for all ultrasound exams. Scanning competencies should include, at a minimum, all patient ages, acuity levels and classes, independently and without quality issues. Performs ultrasound guided procedures and works closely with radiologist or provider.
2. Educates patients and families about procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior and conduct in all interactions. Fosters teamwork, ensures efficient use of resources and advocates for quality patient outcomes.
3. Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements. Performs troubleshooting as needed and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to safety policies. Ensures imaging areas and equipment are in a constant state of "Ready".
4. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable and in accordance with established policies. Maintains proficiency and competencies signed off for all studies related to certification(s). Performs high quality imaging and in accordance with training received.
5. Accountable for the ethical, legal, professional and certification responsibilities related to the practice. Maintains confidentiality of all work information.
6. Assures the efficient operation of workflow in the department through patient triage and prioritization. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure uninterrupted services.
7. Internal customers: All levels of medical imaging and nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients, and family members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires national certification in one area of specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Uncertified new hires who are Registry eligible must obtain certification within 12 months of hire and image with an experienced technologist until they become fully proficient. BLS certification required.
Completion of an approved Ultrasound program.
This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved by 0-3 years of experience.
Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, ability to analyze data and solve problems.

As a Pathology Research Technician, you play a vital role in supporting pathologists and researchers in the study and diagnosis of diseases. Some of your responsibilities include preparing and cutting tissue samples for microscopic examination, applying special stains to highlight cellular structures, and perform various laboratory tests. You'll operate and maintain laboratory equipment like microscopes and analyzers, document test results accurately, and assist in interpreting data for research or diagnostic purposes. Additionally, you will support procedures such as autopsies and surgical specimen collection, all while adhering to strict safety protocols and regulatory standards. To succeed in this role, a background in biology or medical laboratory science is essential, along with attention to detail, teamwork skills, and proficiency in laboratory information systems.

This position is responsible for performing routine to complex autopsy and laboratory diagnostic and research procedures including histological slide preparation; cutting and staining paraffin-embedded and frozen sections. Leads a rapid-response autopsy team.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs various laboratory tests in accordance with standard practice. These include histological procedures such as tissue fixation, tissue sectioning on paraffin, cryostat and sliding freezing microtomes and staining sections with classical stains such as hematoxylin and eosin, silver stains such as Gallyas and Campbell-Switzer as well as with immunohistochemical methods. Labeling and filing of slides. Biochemical methods that are part of standard practice may include preparation of fresh and frozen single-cell suspensions, processing of cerebrospinal fluid and blood, western blotting, ELISA, RNA and DNA isolation and Bioanalyzer analysis.
2. Documents laboratory test results verbally, in personal laboratory notebook, in dedicated shared laboratory binders as well as on workflow files on the network computer (Excel spreadsheet).

Performs duties for on-call brain autopsy program including carrying a cell phone and/or pager when on duty, responding by phone to calls 24/7 within 10 minutes of being called, reporting for duty at morgue within one and a half hours of being called, receiving the body from the transport company according to standard protocols, performing the role of brain team leader or body team leader, dissecting and processing the brain or body according to standard protocols, supervising an assistant during these protocols, and completing all documentation related to the autopsy. Job Summary:
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled dialogue, the registered nurse leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver patients and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. EMTs must frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach while providing emergency care, often in physically demanding and high-stress situations. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are essential for operating medical equipment and performing life-saving procedures. Adequate visual and auditory acuity is necessary to assess patients and respond effectively to emergencies. The work environment varies widely and includes hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, and outdoor or uncontrolled settings.
EMTs are regularly exposed to extreme temperatures, poor lighting, inclement weather, and potentially hazardous conditions. There is a high risk of exposure to blood, body fluids, and airborne pathogens, requiring strict adherence to OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines.
The role may involve irregular hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts. EMTs must remain calm, focused, and effective in emotionally charged and unpredictable environments.

1)Determines if any perishable item needs to be excluded from service due to spoilage. Places spoiled food items in waste buckets.

In the NICU at the Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our newborns and their families. Our state-of-the-art NICU is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by a compassionate team of experts who work tirelessly to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. We are the largest unit within Vanderbilt University Hospital system with 116 beds, with an increase to 131 beds in Summer 2025. We are a level IV tertiary care NICU that attends to the complex care needs of more than 1400 fragile newborns per year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtains and documents a health history for a neonate. Performs and documents complete, system-focused, or symptom-specific physical examination, assessment and plan of care.
Provides neonatal healthcare services for critically ill and complex patients. Manages patient's overall care, identifying expected outcomes for diagnoses.
Orders, performs, interprets and collects data using appropriate assessment techniques, relevant supporting diagnostic information and diagnostic procedures where indicated.
Forms differential diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions in the neonatal population.

The Security K9 Officer is responsible for the protection and safety of employees, patients, and visitors while on hospital property. A Healthcare Security K9 Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within healthcare facilities.Essential Functions
Routine Rounds and Response: Performs routine rounds on the interior and exterior of the facility, including parking areas. Responds promptly to dispatch calls, performs scene assessments, gathers relevant information, resolves conflicts, and completes appropriate documentation.
Patrol and Surveillance: Conducts routine patrols of the healthcare facility with a trained K9 to deter and detect suspicious activities.

Home inspections will be conducted to ensure adequate indoor living conditions and outdoor space to provide a safe and controlled environment for the dog to exercise, play, and train.
A critical aspect of a K9 officer's qualifications includes ensuring appropriate housing, shelter, and space for their canine partner. This not only affects the K9's well-being but also their performance in the field. Providing adequate space allows for bonding and better success with their training, ultimately enhancing their effectiveness in law enforcement duties
Physical Requirements
