Position Summary
Clinician member of the MultiCare Medical Partners multidisciplinary team delivering population-based care. The ARNP will provide comprehensive primary care services focusing on prevention, chronic disease management and health promotion for diverse patient populations. This role requires collaboration with physicians, RNs, pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health specialists and other professionals to optimize the health of MultiCare communitiesResponsibilities Direct Patient Care • Conducts comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, develop plans, and prescribe medications for patients across the lifespan • Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic disease using evidence-based guidelines • Provides preventive care, health education and counseling to individuals and families • Timely and accurate documentation, inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care • Participates in the coverage for clinic colleagues per departmental guidance • Participates in after-hours call coverage per departmental guidance Multidisciplinary Collaboration • Participates in multidisciplinary meetings, care reviews and care planning • Coordinates care with all members of the delivery team • Contributes to the development and improvement of population-based care Population Health Management • Utilizes data and risk stratification tools to prioritize our patients at greatest risk to prioritize outreach • Engages in quality improvement focused on health outcomes, cost effectiveness and cost reduction • Supports transitions of care and reduced readmissions and ED use Citizenship • Demonstrates the MultiCare values of compassion, stewardship, kindness, joy collaboration and respect • Adheres to MultiCare policies and processes Requirements • Maintains active Washington State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license • DEA, and state prescriptive authority • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.About Rockwood Clinic

This position requires specialized training and experience to perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care, including the establishment of therapy and treatment objectives, and the review of care based on the age and needs of the patient. This position operates independently, under limited supervision. Internal contacts include patient care staff and management. External contacts include patients, families, physicians, outside health care providers, and other organizations.Requirements
- Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program
- Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington
- Registry eligibility notice to sit for RRT exam from NBRC required
- Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire depending on age of the population served: ACLS, NRP, PALS
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience in the field of respiratory therapy and critical care as CRT preferred
Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum education qualifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The Peer Recovery Coach (PRC) is a vital member of the Morton Hospital care team and provides non‑clinical, recovery‑oriented peer-to-peer support to individuals with substance use disorders and co‑occurring health or behavioral health needs. The Peer Recovery Coach uses lived experience, recovery coaching principles, and a trauma‑informed approach to engage patients, promote hope, reduce stigma, and support sustained recovery.
Peer Recovery Coaches focus on addressing recovery needs and social drivers of health by supporting patients in navigating healthcare systems, recovery supports, and community‑based services. The PRC works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, social workers, case managers, and community partners while maintaining a clearly defined non‑clinical peer support role within the interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities
Peer Recovery Coaches must understand and apply Massachusetts BSAS peer recovery standards, trauma‑informed care, and motivational engagement strategies while maintaining ethical peer boundaries.
Specifically, the Peer Recovery Coach will:
- Work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary hospital care team using an integrated, recovery‑oriented model.
- Engage patients through rapport building, peer recovery coaching conversations, and motivational interviewing techniques.
- Provide non‑clinical education on substance use disorder treatment options, harm reduction strategies, overdose prevention, and recovery supports.
- Support patients during Emergency Department, inpatient, and care transition encounters, including initiation or continuation of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), without providing clinical services.
- Advocate for patient goals and preferences during care planning and discharge processes.
- Assist patients in navigating community‑based recovery supports, housing resources, insurance, transportation, food access, and related social services.
- Facilitate warm hand‑offs and referrals to treatment providers and recovery community organizations.
- Use professional judgment when responding to patient crises such as relapse, housing loss, or emotional distress, and escalate concerns using a team‑based approach and established hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of peer recovery services in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training required to maintain Massachusetts peer certification.
Essential Duties
Under the supervision of the designated program supervisor and in collaboration with hospital leadership, the Peer Recovery Coach will:
- Conduct recovery‑oriented intake conversations to identify strengths, needs, and recovery goals.
- Support patients in developing and maintaining recovery and self‑management strategies.
- Provide follow‑up and outreach to assigned patients after discharge or Emergency Department visits.
- Coordinate care efforts with existing providers, case managers, and recovery partners.
- Work variable shifts as program needs require, including some weekends or evenings.
Minimum Qualifications

- Massachusetts‑recognized Peer Recovery Coach or Peer Specialist certification, or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire through a BSAS‑recognized program.
