We are seeking experienced and dedicated Acute Multimodality Techs to join our founding team. The ideal candidate will embody our commitment to a people-centered, collaborative culture and demonstrate compassion, kindness, and resiliency in high-pressure situations. To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience.
This is a Weekend position working Friday, Saturday and Sunday working from 6:30a - 7:00pm.

Additionally, the campus responsibilities include fully integrated multi-specialty and sub-specialty clinics.POSITION SUMMARY
This position facilitates services and provides clinical support within the department. Performs prescribed procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to organize and provide care appropriate to patient population.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Provides or facilitates patient care for patient populations and serves as a resource to staff for clinical support. Assumes responsibility for direct patient care when necessary. Promotes interdisciplinary patient care planning and patient education.
2. Demonstrates leadership qualities in support of department needs and collaborates with various departments, outside vendors, and other departments to assure adequate resources and the proper coordination of safe, efficient patient care management.
3. Serves as resource to patients, families, providers and staff in providing care by facilitating patient flow. Assists in the interpretation of department/facility/system policies within the clinical setting. Responsible for providing safe and cost effective care while considering patient satisfaction and customer service.
4. Participates in staff development, orientation, education and evaluation of clinical competencies. Mentors staff to increase clinical, critical thinking and problem solving skills. May participate in employee performance assessments.
5. Supports change and assists in the development, interpretation, implementation and evaluation of the process improvement and quality management activities of the department/system. May serve as QA and clinical educator. May coordinate and assist in development of QI/QC projects.
6. Monitors staff usage and ensures staffing meets patient needs in a fiscally responsible manner.
7. Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to imaging practice. This includes maintaining confidentiality of all work information. Adheres to safety policies.
8. Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department. Performs prescribed procedures in accordance with established departmental/facility policies and procedures.
9. This position functions within the Imaging department of the assigned facility. Participates on committees as assigned. Internal customers: All levels of medical imaging and nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent program for other modalities (MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CAT Scan, Mammography, Diagnostic imaging).
Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or modality qualified licensure (NMTCB, ARDMS, ARMRIT). Licensure by state regulatory agency required, if applicable. Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty required (MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CAT Scan, Mammography), if applicable. BLS certification required. Depending on certification and modality(ies) coordinating, may be assigned to a single modality or Multi-Modality Medical Imaging Coordinator role (Ultrasound Coordinator, MRI Coordinator, Mult Mod Med Img Coord, etc.)
This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 3+ years of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Health care related Bachelors degree and prior supervisory experience preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Schedule: Rotating shifts including 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday-Friday only), 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, and occasional overnight shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Employees typically work every other weekend (approximately 6 weekend days per 8-week schedule) and 2 to 3 holidays annually. Overnight shifts are infrequent and primarily required for vacation coverage. Hire On Incentive up to $2,500 available. With 249 beds and a level 2 trauma center, Wyoming Medical Center is proud to serve the entire state of Wyoming.POSITION SUMMARY
This position will work under the supervision of the pharmacist performing routine duties in packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and record-keeping of pharmaceutical supplies. Serves as a liaison between the customer and the pharmacist. Becomes proficient in preparing compounded intravenous medications, total parenteral nutrition products, and chemotherapeutic agents within compliance with USP regulations. Effectively uses pharmacy computer systems to investigate and respond to missing medication requests. Consistently demonstrates an ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives, and choose the appropriate course of action. May educate and train peer Pharmacy Technicians, Technician Externs, Technician Trainees, and volunteers.Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Identifies medications and other items for reorder as necessary to maintain a continuous inventory of medications and supplies. Receives, checks-in, and restocks medications ordered through the wholesaler and other vendors verifying all quantities against invoices. Assesses practical ways to deal with shorted items and short-dated or unusable items.
2. Manages users within the automated dispensing technology database as per policy. Investigates discrepancies and troubleshoots malfunctions in automated dispensing technology.
3. Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills and is customer service oriented in all contacts with patients, visitors and staff. Responds to standard requests from internal customers. Interacts primarily with department personnel, cross-department personnel, internal customers, patients and physicians.
4. May use automated dispensing technology or requisition to restock medications to nursing and ancillary areas after checking by a pharmacist. When allowed by law and policy, and upon completion of proper training/competency assessment, may restock automated dispensing technology using barcode scanning verification devices. Restocks medications to all areas outside automated dispensing technology which may include but not limited to trays, code carts and emergency boxes.
5. Compounds non-sterile medication products. Understands and appropriately follows all product worksheets/recipes for documentation and check processes. Understands and adheres to all applicable USP compounding guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge of and consistently performs calibrations of equipment and accurately measures components for compounding. Repackages bulk medications into unit of use packaging. Completes accurate documentation of medications compounded and repackaged per policy.
6. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with all policies, laws, and regulations. Performs quality control activities such as monthly nursing unit inspections and pharmacy section checks in a timely manner. Completes documentation of refrigerator temperatures, and equipment maintenance activities as required.
7. Handles narcotic medications following all federal and legal requirements as set through policy and procedure. Understands all regulatory requirements for receiving, compounding, repackaging, and distribution for controlled substances. Consistently adheres to all storage and inventory movement documentation requirements for controlled substances.
8. Becomes proficient in performing compounding and labeling of intravenous non-hazardous compounds using proper sterile and aseptic technique as appropriate to the site of care. Understands the different product lines in sterile populations (adult, pediatric, and neonate). Completes all required environmental cleaning procedures. Documents all required tasks and other information per policy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
Incumbents in Arizona are also required to provide the AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card at time of hire.
Ability to complete moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand-held calculator is required. Hand cleans miscellaneous instruments (Baxter pump, hypothermo units, etc.) and operates the cart cleaner.
- Ensures proper care and handling of high cost instrumentation and equipment to include items requiring special handling, laser instrumentation, orthopedic implants, cardiac assist devices, endoscopic and microscopic instrumentation.
- May build case carts according to procedure and physician preference as specified. File case cart sheets and requisitions, responds to Code 4s with defibrillator and back up supplies, maintains CPR annies, tests autoclaves with the tests according to procedure, and changes graphs as necessary.
- Checks incoming trays and follows up with departments as to missing instruments or parts.
- Takes immediate and appropriate action if a question of sterilizer failure occurs.
- Receives and records orders for supplies as requested by departments. Records accurate product number and assures all forms are correctly completed for proper billing. Marks, dates and stocks equipment, which may include returning to appropriate department on a timely basis.
- Opens and unpacks supply boxes, checking for damaged goods and number of items received. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor. Performs credits for unused products returned, checks stock levels, copies supply sheets, checks carts for outdated supplies, and performs general cleaning of shelves.
- May performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.

Major Responsibilities
- Supports patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) assists with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and other essential personal care needs while maintaining dignity, comfort, and safety.
- Assists patients with mobility and hygiene needs — repositions, transfers, ambulates, and utilizes assistive devices in accordance with established procedures and RN direction.
- Obtains and documents routine clinical measurements — records vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output accurately, and promptly reports abnormalities or notable changes to the RN.
- Supports patient nutrition and hydration — assists with feeding, meal setup, and monitoring diet tolerance in alignment with prescribed diet orders, safety precautions, and RN guidance.
- Maintains a clean and safe patient environment — ensures patient rooms, equipment, and common areas meet infection prevention standards and remain free from hazards.
- Observes and communicates changes in patient condition — identifies physical, emotional, or behavioral variations and provides timely, factual reports to the RN to support clinical decision-making.
- Reinforces patient and family education and orientation — reviews safety measures, explains unit routines, and assists in preparing patients for tests or procedures as directed by the RN.

Minimum Job Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
- The individual must be actively enrolled in a Recognized Accredited Nursing Program and remain in good academic standing. Must maintain a minimum 2.5 Grade Point Average (GPA), calculated on a weighted 4.0 scale.
- This requirement applies to all coursework and includes consideration for advanced classes (e.g., Honors, AP, IB) where additional weight is assigned. Equivalent academic performance under other recognized grading systems (such as percentage-based or quality point systems) will also be accepted, provided it meets the same standard prior to application and throughout employment.
- The individual must have successfully completed the foundational nursing coursework required to participate safely in supervised clinical practice and perform the responsibilities of the Nurse Extern role. Examples of such coursework may include but are not limited to a curriculum-based instructional component delivered by the School of Nursing that provides instruction in basic patientcare procedures, safety and infection control standards, therapeutic communication, documentation fundamentals, and the core principles of professional nursing practice.
- Foundational coursework is expected to include but is not limited to: Foundations of Professional Nursing, Physical Assessment and Health, Fundamental Principles and Skills, and Pathophysiology/Pharmacology, or equivalent courses as defined by the accredited nursing program and verified during the organizational onboarding process.
- Verification of completion or anticipated completion of required foundational nursing coursework prior to the onboarding date must be confirmed through acceptable documentation.
- Acceptable verification may include but is not limited to official or unofficial academic transcripts, written confirmation from the School of Nursing, progression letters, or other formal academic documentation, such as program enrollment verification or competency summaries.
- If official transcripts cannot be provided, acceptable alternative documentation may be approved by any of the following: the Nurse Director, the Nursing Education Department, or the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- This role requires the ability to perform the essential physical functions associated with direct patient care. The individual must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and frequently bend, reach, squat, kneel, and move between positions efficiently to meet clinical workflow demands. The position requires sufficient strength and mobility to assist with patient transfers, repositioning, and the movement of equipment or supplies while maintaining proper body mechanics. Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling tasks may range from light to moderately heavy as defined by the organizational job class evaluation, and reasonable accommodations may be made in accordance with applicable law.

Major Responsibilities
- Supports patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) assists with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and other essential personal care needs while maintaining dignity, comfort, and safety.
- Assists patients with mobility and hygiene needs — repositions, transfers, ambulates, and utilizes assistive devices in accordance with established procedures and RN direction.
- Obtains and documents routine clinical measurements — records vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output accurately, and promptly reports abnormalities or notable changes to the RN.
- Supports patient nutrition and hydration — assists with feeding, meal setup, and monitoring diet tolerance in alignment with prescribed diet orders, safety precautions, and RN guidance.
- Maintains a clean and safe patient environment — ensures patient rooms, equipment, and common areas meet infection prevention standards and remain free from hazards.
- Observes and communicates changes in patient condition — identifies physical, emotional, or behavioral variations and provides timely, factual reports to the RN to support clinical decision-making.
- Reinforces patient and family education and orientation — reviews safety measures, explains unit routines, and assists in preparing patients for tests or procedures as directed by the RN.
- Performs clerical and administrative support functions — answers phones, enters basic information into the electronic medical record, retrieves supplies, and supports communication flow on the unit.
- Manages patient-care supplies and equipment — stocks inventory, ensures materials are available, and maintains cleanliness and proper functioning of designated equipment.
- Performs competency-validated technical skills — conducts tasks such as 12-lead electrocardiograms, routine venipuncture, and specimen collection, as permitted by organizational policy and Georgia practice guidelines, strictly under RN supervision and only after documented competency validation.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
- The individual must be actively enrolled in a Recognized Accredited Nursing Program and remain in good academic standing. Must maintain a minimum 2.5 Grade Point Average (GPA), calculated on a weighted 4.0 scale.
- This requirement applies to all coursework and includes consideration for advanced classes (e.g., Honors, AP, IB) where additional weight is assigned. Equivalent academic performance under other recognized grading systems (such as percentage-based or quality point systems) will also be accepted, provided it meets the same standard prior to application and throughout employment.
- The individual must have successfully completed the foundational nursing coursework required to participate safely in supervised clinical practice and perform the responsibilities of the Nurse Extern role. Examples of such coursework may include but are not limited to a curriculum-based instructional component delivered by the School of Nursing that provides instruction in basic patientcare procedures, safety and infection control standards, therapeutic communication, documentation fundamentals, and the core principles of professional nursing practice.
- Foundational coursework is expected to include but is not limited to: Foundations of Professional Nursing, Physical Assessment and Health, Fundamental Principles and Skills, and Pathophysiology/Pharmacology, or equivalent courses as defined by the accredited nursing program and verified during the organizational onboarding process.
- Verification of completion or anticipated completion of required foundational nursing coursework prior to the onboarding date must be confirmed through acceptable documentation.
- Acceptable verification may include but is not limited to official or unofficial academic transcripts, written confirmation from the School of Nursing, progression letters, or other formal academic documentation, such as program enrollment verification or competency summaries.
- If official transcripts cannot be provided, acceptable alternative documentation may be approved by any of the following: the Nurse Director, the Nursing Education Department, or the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).
Defining Criteria for Recognized Accredited Nursing Programs:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- This role requires the ability to perform the essential physical functions associated with direct patient care. The individual must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and frequently bend, reach, squat, kneel, and move between positions efficiently to meet clinical workflow demands. The position requires sufficient strength and mobility to assist with patient transfers, repositioning, and the movement of equipment or supplies while maintaining proper body mechanics. Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling tasks may range from light to moderately heavy as defined by the organizational job class evaluation, and reasonable accommodations may be made in accordance with applicable law.
- The individual must possess adequate near and far visual acuity, hearing, fine motor coordination, and tactile sensitivity necessary to safely observe patients, recognize alarms and call signals, handle equipment, and perform assigned clinical support activities. The role requires the ability to respond promptly and appropriately to changes in patient condition, prioritize multiple tasks, and remain composed and effective in high-stress or emergency situations. Extended use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks, gloves, and gowns, may be required to ensure safety in the performance of job duties.
- Work is performed in a clinical environment where the individual may be exposed to blood, bodily fluids, communicable diseases, noxious odors, high noise levels, and frequent interruptions. The individual must be able to function safely and effectively under these conditions while maintaining professional behavior. - Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care.
- Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.).
- Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered.
- Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking. Point of Care testing (POCT) per standing order/provider order. Completes Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) approved waived laboratory tests and practice-specific diagnostic testing in adherence to CLIA standards.
- Administers medications and vaccines safely following the rights of medication administration.
- Performs other duties as assigned such as medication refills, insurance authorizations, safety/regulatory log completion, patient messaging, medication/supply ordering, appointment scheduling, and referrals.
- Demonstrates effective and timely communication, teamwork, and appropriate escalation.
