In this role, you will oversee the business and patient care functions of the assigned UCLA Health Community Clinics. As a team member of the Phlebotomy Float Pool, you will be assigned to assist various ambulatory sites, such as Ronald Reagan Hospital and Santa Monica Hospital.

In this position, you will perform duties as a Central Service Technician Tech II (CSTII), supporting the distribution and management of medical supplies and equipment throughout the UCLA Health System. This role directly supports patient care operations by ensuring that clinical teams have timely access to the supplies and equipment required. Work assignments are prioritized and carried out in alignment with departmental goals, operational needs, and the demands of high-volume procedural areas.

The Central Service Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient inventory management across assigned locations. Core responsibilities include placing supply orders to replenish inventory levels, monitoring supply utilization trends, and evaluating inventory turns to proactively adjust par levels to meet fluctuating clinical demand. The CSTII plays a key role in maintaining efficient par management processes to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained while minimizing supply shortages or overstock conditions.

Additional responsibilities include receiving, verifying, and distributing incoming supplies and equipment throughout the health system. This includes reconciling packing slips with delivered contents, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate documentation of received goods. The technician is responsible for transporting supplies—frequently weighing up to 50 pounds—to designated storage and procedural areas in a safe and timely manner.

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Research Administrator to support the UCLA Tarjan Center and PEERs Clinic. You will provide comprehensive support for sponsored research administration and serve as key liaison among faculty, funding agencies, community organizations, and campus partners to ensure the successful administration and growth of federally, state, foundation, and privately funding programs. • Manage pre-award and post-award administration for sponsored research projects, grants, and contracts
• Develop, monitor, reconcile, and analyze project budgets and financial reports

• Administer contract, sub awards, and other sponsored project agreements
• Support philanthropic partnerships, community collaborations, and strategic initiatives

Required:

As a leader within the Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) team, this role is responsible for coordinating scheduling and patient care needs for patients across all BHA locations with direct supervision of the office staff and flow at the Santa Monica location. Through coordination of clinical services, this Manager plays a key role in ensuring access and responsiveness for behavioral health services at UCLA Health. The role includes daily administrative and operational oversight and physical space management for the department as well as coordination with centralized call support services.

Under minimal supervision, function primarily as a scrub and/or circulating nurse within the Outpatient Surgery Center Operating Room. Administrative and teaching responsibilities to be performed as necessary, including inventory, instrument set-ups and chart reviews. Implement appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis, relevant to an operating room arena. Function as a member of a team. This limited Licensed Clinical Social Worker role will be serving as the primary therapist for UCLA’s Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The therapist provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy to patients who are pregnant or within one year postpartum. The social worker is responsible for:

• Assessing each patient, creating a treatment plan, and working with the interdisciplinary treatment team of psychiatrists, nurses, occupational therapists, and other mental health providers to enact the treatment plan. 
• Engaging the patient's family and community resources to ensure a safe and comprehensive discharge plan following the acute stabilization of symptoms.

Required:

• Provides customer service oriented administrative support to patients, staff, and clinicians.
• Completes patient registration, including demographics and payer/insurance information.

Senate Bill 525 was signed into law by Governor Newsom in October 2023. Starting June 1, 2026, SB525 sets a new $25/hour minimum wage for nonexempt healthcare workers and raises the exempt employee salary threshold to $1,500/week (equivalent to $6,500/month or $78,000/year). 

In accordance with SB 525, as the offer amount outlined in this letter falls below the minimum salary required by the legislation, we will provide a supplementary amount to ensure compliance. The total compensation package, including this supplement, will meet the minimum salary standards set forth by SB 525.
