NaphCare is hiring LPNs and LVNs to join our team of medical professionals in Wyoming Department of Corrections - Wyoming State Penitentiary, where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Rawlins, WY.
Full Time, Part Time, and PRN positions are available!
New pay rates for LPNs.
Fulltime hires are eligible for a $7,500 sign on bonus!
Candidates who live 50 miles or more from the facility (FT, PT, and PRN) will also receive:
An additional $2.00 per hour pay incentive in addition to their base pay rate
Mileage reimbursement
As a Correctional Nurse, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have various duties to keep you engaged including performing physical assessments, administering medications, managing chronic illnesses, and responding to emergencies. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.

As an LPN, you will play a critical role in our continued mission to provide quality healthcare that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Duties and responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
Performing patient assessments, interviewing patients about current health problems, medication history
Taking vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weight
Providing wound care, including cleaning and bandaging injured areas
Administering medication, including injections of medications and monitoring reaction to meds
Maintaining medical records, including entering information into our electronic health record, TechCare
Observing patient health and mental health status
Providing emergency first aid
Providing patient education and discharge/release planning
Education / Licenses / Certifications / Requirements
Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Actively state-certified as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA required)
Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening
Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.

*Job Summary*
The CT/X-Ray Technologist will perform CT and X-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This position requires proficiency with imaging equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform CT and X-ray examinations according to established protocols and procedures.
* Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
* Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
* Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate imaging.
* Maintain accurate patient records while protecting patient confidentiality.
* Verify patient information and ensure proper exam preparation.
* Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout imaging procedures.
* Follow radiation safety protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
* Demonstrate proficiency with imaging software and electronic medical record systems.
*Requirements*
* *ARRT certification in Radiography (R.T.) required.*
* CT certification/credentialing required or willingness to obtain as applicable.
* *Limited X-Ray and NCT Technologists will not be considered.*
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and radiographic procedures.
* Proficiency in CT and X-ray equipment and imaging software.
* Knowledge of radiation safety and proper imaging protocols.
* *Level II Trauma Center or ER experience preferred.*
* CT experience strongly preferred.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.
* Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality images.
*Preferred Qualifications & Compensation*
* *Multimodality technologists preferred, especially CT/X-ray.*
* Candidates with strong CT/X-ray and additional modality experience may qualify for a *higher hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.*
* Advanced CT experience.
* Experience working in an ER or Level II Trauma Center.
* Experience with a variety of CT protocols and examinations.
* Strong understanding of diagnostic radiology and emergency imaging.

* Monitor implementation of speech and language IEP goals and objectives

* Collaborate with staff and parents on speech-language practices and programs
* Provide individual, group and co-treatment therapy to students

* Complete student service logs on a weekly basis and write session notes in a timely manner

* Work with student who have behavior challenges and run Behavior Intervention Plan with fidelity
* Meet with Director of School Programs on an ongoing basis to monitor and evaluate SLPA’s roles and responsibilities, including allocation of hours as per employee agreement
