Position Summary
The Emergency Services Technician offers an excellent opportunity in supporting patient care and covering administrative and clinical procedures. Working in collaboration across a team of practitioners, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
- You will assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitioner
- You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
- You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C or successful completion of EMT Training Course
- MA-P or EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within 180 days of hire
- CNA, NA-R, or EMT will be required to obtain MA-P within a specified date as determined by location; Mary Bridge Hospital and Yakima locations does not require the MA-P
- Current BLS Certification
- Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred

Position Summary
The CNA/Transporter is an excellent opportunity for supporting comprehensive health care services. Assisting with basic nursing care and providing safe and timely transport of patients, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility, this role allows for our health care services to run fluently and efficiently throughout the MultiCare facility.

- You will provide assistance to units by cleaning equipment and stocking supplies

Requirements:
- Current Washington State CNA or MA license
- Current BLS Certification
- One (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred

Position Summary
The Central Service Technician works as a team member and is responsible for providing support to the total health care team at MultiCare Health System by cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, and transporting supplies and equipment. This position is a team member requiring a cooperative manner, working under direct supervision. Work situations are basically routine in nature yet require a service-oriented individual, organization of time and equipment, independent decision making in the execution of daily routine duties, and prioritization of multiple tasks. Internal contacts occur on a daily basis and may include patient care providers and Materials Management staff. External contacts are limited but may include patients, vendors, rental companies/agencies, other health care facilities, and physicians.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or completion of healthcare organization training program; military training or experience satisfies this requirement for WA state employees, per Title 18 RCW
- In lieu of formal training, candidates with a nationally recognized certification (e.g., CRCST) and/or a minimum of one (1) year of recent sterile processing experience preferred
- Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred

Position Summary
The Patient Access Technician (PAT) is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for welcoming patients at one of our Off-Campus Emergency Departments. This position works closely with both financial and clinical teams and will offer you the space to create the optimum patient experience.
Responsibilities
- You will assure complete and accurate patient admissions/registrations according to organization policy and procedures and regulatory requirements
- You will obtain inpatient bed assignments and processes inpatient admission, to include arm banding, addressograph plate, and completion of necessary forms
- You will pre-admit all scheduled inpatient, outpatients and ambulatory patients to facilitate a smooth and speedy admission/registration process
- You will obtain direct admit information and enter a reservation in the computer system in order to notify other areas
- You will complete comprehensive bedside or telephone interviews with patient, relative, or their representative to obtain pertinent demographic insurance and/or third party liability information
- You will perform eligibility verification and resolves any discrepancies, determine need for financial assistance recommendation and application, referring to the Financial Counselor where necessary
Requirements
- Graduate of health vocational program such as patient access, medical assistance, medical billing and insurance or medical general, required
- One year of admitting, billing, registration or custom service experience may be considered in lieu of education

Position Summary

Position Summary
The Mary Bridge Mental Health Clinician-SW I is responsible for assisting pediatric patients and their families in addressing the social, psychological, developmental and economic impacts of illness, injury and chronic disease. As part of an interdisciplinary team, and to promote optimal health outcomes, the MHC-SW completes comprehensive assessment and provides support and resources to identify and intervene regarding patient/family needs related to: mental health, trauma, environmental and caregiver safety; child abuse and neglect; trauma; grief and loss; adjustment to injury/illness; food, shelter and other basic needs; education and developmental needs, and parenting resource needs.The MHC-SW joins with patients and their families in identifying solutions to problems that serve barriers as to disease management. The PHP-SW partners with physicians, schools, law enforcement, Children’s Administration, community mental health providers and other service providers in the community to ensure well-coordinated care across the health care continuum.
Requirements:
- Licensed in the State of Washington as a Social Worker Associated Independent Clinical License (LSWAIC)

Position Summary
The Structural Heart Coordinator will play an integral role in the coordination and conduct of day-to-day TAVR and MitraClip Programs and other activities under the direction of the Structural COE leader and in collaboration with the heart team. The person in this role must be able to establish priorities and a course of action for managing several activities at once while observing deadlines, and to function and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and patients. The Structural Heart Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership and facilitating activities and services across the system regarding care for patients undergoing the TAVR procedure, the MitraClip procedure, and other procedures as new programs are developed. A strong clinical background and understanding of structural heart anomalies and treatments is essential. The ability to design and align resources to support program initiatives, program development, developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external referring physicians, and development of a program database are keys to success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS/ACLS Certification
- Three (3) years of experience with Cardiac, Cardiothoracic or Vascular patients

The Process Improvement RN Prog Mgr leads facility or CBU level initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, patient safety, and outcomes in a healthcare setting. Position Summary
The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for the delivery of skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities, which requires the use of advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations. This position requires specialized training and experience to perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care, including the establishment of therapy and treatment objectives, and the review of care based on the age and needs of the patient. This position operates independently, under limited supervision. Internal contacts include patient care staff and management. External contacts include patients, families, physicians, outside health care providers, and other organizations.
Requirements
- Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program
- Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington
- Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire depending on age of the population served: ACLS, NRP, PALS
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience in the field of respiratory therapy and critical care as RRT preferred
- Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum education qualifications.

Position Summary
The Front Desk Specialist performs reception, registration, and secretarial functions in support of the daily operations of the Center while functioning as the focal communication source in the unit. Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.18 - $35.25 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
