Position Summary
The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) is an excellent opportunity in providing high-quality patient care, monitoring, and mobility. If you are a skilled communicator and love being the focal communication source, this is the job for you.
As an HUC at MultiCare, you will hone your patient care and monitoring skills, nurture your communications development, and collaborate in support of care and delivery of patient services
Responsibilities
- You will perform receptionist and communications duties
- Support care delivery and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups
- You will regularly utilize your independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with Clinical Director and/or RN for optimal care delivery and patient services
Requirements
- Completion of an approved Unit Secretary vocational training course or currently enrolled in clinical education program OR previous patient care experience of one (1) year or equivalent clerical experience of one (1) year in a medical setting

- You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
- You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current BLS Certification required
- Two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting

Position Summary
The Surgical Tech OB is responsible for assisting surgeon during C-sections and ensures the surgical suite is adequately prepared for C-sections. In Addition the Surgical Tech – OB Cleans, wraps and sends all instruments to Central Service for sterilization, ensures labor and delivery rooms are adequately stocked and prepared, and assists Labor and Delivery nurses as needed. Work situations are primarily routine, but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation. , This position requires a service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of supporting the delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. Independent decision-making is expected in the execution of daily routine duties.
Requirements
- Surgical Technologist registration within 90 days of hire
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum one (1) year of work experience in OB or in the Operating Room preferred

Position Summary
The Medical Receptionist is the first in-person point of contact for a patient on behalf of the medical practice. They are responsible for all aspects of front office duties assigned by a clinic. Duties include variations of, receptionist duties—greeting patients, answering phones and directing calls, assisting patients/families; scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment posting, batch balancing, cash reconciliation/balancing, operating several types of basic office equipment, etc. This is an intermediate level position requiring excellent customer service skills. It is highly visible, requiring discretion, good judgment, a pleasant and professional manner and articulate phone voice. Internal and external contacts include patients, families, co-workers, physicians and the general public.Requirements
- Post high school office procedures preferred

The Mary Bridge Mental Health Clinician-SW I, is responsible for assisting pediatric patients and their families in addressing the social, psychological, developmental and economic impacts of illness, injury and chronic disease. As part of an interdisciplinary team, and to promote optimal health outcomes, the MHC-SW completes comprehensive assessment and provides support and resources to identify and intervene regarding patient/family needs related to: mental health, trauma, environmental and caregiver safety; child abuse and neglect; trauma; grief and loss; adjustment to injury/illness; food, shelter and other basic needs; education and developmental needs, and parenting resource needs.The MHC-SW joins with patients and their families in identifying solutions to problems that serve barriers as to disease management. The PHP-SW partners with physicians, schools, law enforcement, Children’s Administration, community mental health providers and other service providers in the community to ensure well-coordinated care across the health care continuum.

The Medical Receptionist is the first in-person point of contact for a patient on behalf of the medical practice. They are responsible for all aspects of front office duties assigned by a clinic. Position Summary
The Pulmonary APP provides specialty care to adult patients with chronic and complex respiratory conditions and in pulmonary clinic settings. Working in collaboration with the supervising physician, the APP delivers evidence-based evaluation, education, and management for patients with conditions such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary nodules. Additionally, this role may encompass the management of sleep disorders. The role supports access, continuity, and team-based care within the pulmonary service line.Responsibilities • Evaluate and manage adult patients with pulmonary conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. • Conduct history taking, physical exams, and review of diagnostic studies to guide clinical decision making. • Develop and implement treatment plans for pulmonary conditions. • Monitor and adjust therapies including inhalers, oxygen, and medications as clinically indicated. • Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and lifestyle management. • Communicate and coordinate care with supervising physicians, primary care providers, and specialists. • Document accurately and timely in the electronic health record. • Participate in follow-up of imaging, labs, and pulmonary function testing. • Support patient access through timely follow-up and chronic disease monitoring workflows. • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to evidence-based pulmonary care. Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines. This role utilizes fixed imaging equipment, portable radiography, and fluoroscopic systems to support, trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic exams. The Radiologic Technologist functions as a clinical role model and resource within the hospital, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
- May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
- Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team
Requirements:
- Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
- X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health permitted but must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist with the State of Washington Department of Health within the (3) three months of hiring.
