Position Summary
The Hospital Social Worker is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for cross continuum care coordination, psychosocial assessments, and psychosocial interventions. In this role you will identify opportunities to continually improve patient care, services and population health.
Responsibilities:
- You will perform cross continuum care activities, which may include clinic, provider practice, urgent care, phone care agency, skilled care, or other sites of care, as appropriate
- You will provide customer service to the patient, family, physician/APP, and care team members to include discharge milestones and progression to next level of care
- You will model and orchestrate consistent, professional communications and maintain consistent and proactive communication patterns with colleagues and staff
- You will delegate responsibilities appropriately but remains accountable for outcomes
- You will ensure that the patient and family experiences medically appropriate transitions of care
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Licensed in the state of Washington
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW); OR Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC) with a commitment to obtain their LICSW within four (4) years
- Minimum three (3) years Hospital or equivalent experience
- Health industry knowledge preferred
- Healthcare financial assistance knowledge preferred
- Leadership experience a plus

Position Summary
The Pediatric Cardiac Services ARNP provides direct patient care and assumes primary responsibility for clinical management across ambulatory, cardiac catheterization lab, and inpatient settings. This includes providing clinical services including diagnosis of illness, development and management of treatment plans, and prescription of medication. APPs may see patients independently or as part of the health care team.This role also requires in-depth conceptual and working knowledge acquired through deep experience in a particular job discipline. It may also require familiarity in related disciplines and specialties. This APP may lead projects of manageable risk or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives and commonly executes a wide range of complex and difficult tasks, requiring minimal guidance or supervision. Pediatric Cardiac Services APPs will apply new perspectives to existing solutions and serve as a key resource for colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive clinical care to cardiac surgery and cardiology patients in ambulatory clinics, the cardiac cath lab, and inpatient units.
- Obtain detailed patient histories and perform thorough physical examinations.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and tests.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with institutional and state guidelines.
- Participate in case management and ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Collaborate closely with attending physicians, specialists, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to departmental and organizational quality improvement and performance initiatives.
- Support education and research efforts involving patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in a pediatric or family nurse practitioner program
- One year work experience in a pediatric or family focused clinical area.
- For Nurse Practitioners:
- Active, unencumbered registered nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure in the State of Washington.
- Current certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner
- Active Drug Enforcement Authority registration
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

- Physician shall evaluate, treat and provide follow up care to patients as assigned by the Heart Center including providing medical and cardiac imaging management of pediatric and adult congenital patients that will include:
- OR TTE and TEE coverage
- Cardiac CT/MRI

- The Physician shall devote such time as may be reasonably necessary to cooperate with the efforts of the Heart Center in the management and governance of Heart Center activities
- Physician shall exercise best efforts to keep Physician’s skills and knowledge current with the best up to date practice in the Physician’s field of practice by study of current medical literature and continuing medical education courses (CME)

Position Summary
The Cardiovascular Technologist is a crucial role at MultiCare, responsible for providing technical support during a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. In this role, you will ensure quality care, with a focus on the comfort and well-being of patient and family.

Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines. This role utilizes fixed imaging equipment, portable radiography, and fluoroscopic systems to support, trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic exams. The Radiologic Technologist functions as a clinical role model and resource within the hospital, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
- May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
- Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team
Requirements:
- Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
- X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health permitted but must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist with the State of Washington Department of Health within the (3) three months of hiring.

Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines. This role utilizes fixed imaging equipment, portable radiography, and fluoroscopic systems to support, trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic exams. The Radiologic Technologist functions as a clinical role model and resource within the hospital, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
- May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
- Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team
Requirements:
- Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
- X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health permitted but must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist with the State of Washington Department of Health within the (3) three months of hiring.

Position Summary

Responsibilities
- You will assure complete and accurate patient admissions/registrations according to organization policy and procedures and regulatory requirements
- You will obtain inpatient bed assignments and processes inpatient admission, including arm banding, addressograph plate, and completion of necessary forms
- You will pre-admit all scheduled inpatient, outpatients and ambulatory patients to facilitate a smooth and speedy admission/registration process
- You will obtain direct admit information and enter a reservation in the computer system in order to notify other areas
