The Contact Center Advisor is responsible for responding to all telephonic sales related consumer inquiries, identifying qualified prospects, providing rate quotes and enrolling eligible consumers telephonically. Responsible for upselling and/or cross-selling products, providing guidance on insurance coverage, selling policies, and conducting appropriate follow-up calls.
Education:
- High School Diploma (required)
Certification:
- Must obtain L-HIL or L-LIFEHI within 60 days of hire.
Experience:
- 1 year of prior sales experience (required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.65 - $30.78 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Department/Position Overview:
Are you wanting to try out different types of nursing units-join the Resource Pool! This position will work in various units at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
As a Patient Care Technician with Sentara, you will have the opportunity to learn many new skills. From taking vitals to blood draws and daily care. The primary duties of this position include supporting the admission/discharge process, changing, bathing ambulating patients, drawing blood, foley catheter care, meeting patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to provide the best care for our patients.
Patient Care Technicians are unlicensed staff members who are accountable to, and work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to implement delegated aspects of nursing care. Provide patient care, support the admissions and discharge process, and comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional nurse. Observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any change to the nurse.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification/Licensure
- American Health Associate BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum requirements: Must have one of the following
- Sentara Care Partner Certification Program, or
- Successful completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), or
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT), or
- Completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School, or
- Emergency Services to include EMR, EMS, EMT, AEMT and Paramedic, or
- Current student enrolled in a clinical program (beyond prerequisites) having completed at least one semester of RN, LPN, RT or PT, or
- Current work experience within last three years as a PCT or Nursing Assistant.
ExperienceOne year of prior health care experience preferred.

Position Highlights:
- Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No call responsibilities
- Travel aboard Sentara’s Mobile MAT Bus throughout Chesapeake, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, and Suffolk, with a different practice setting and patient population each day
- Conduct substance use disorder assessments and withdrawal evaluations
- Administer and manage Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including Suboxone® and Vivitrol®
- Provide post-treatment monitoring and ongoing patient support
- Collaborate closely with an experienced therapist and off-site physician partner

Sentara Leigh Hospital includes a dedicated Orthopedic Hospital providing patients access to a full continuum of orthopedic care, from the preoperative phase and surgery to rehabilitation and home care services. Along with being a recognized accredited Primary Stroke Center, and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence, we also specialize in orthopedic and spine care, heart, vascular, maternity care, and general surgery. We are also home to the region’s only 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program that helps speed up the healing of carbon monoxide poisoning, wounds that won’t heal, infections in which tissues are starved for oxygen, airborne chemical exposures, and scuba diving accidents.
