$22.90 - $34.35Essential Functions
- Accurately accessions and registers specimens for processing and testing.
- Maintains high quality and productivity as required by department.
- Follows designated procedures for labeling and processing; sort and deliver specimens to technical areas as assigned.
- Prepares solutions, reagents and supplies as assigned.
- Operates all necessary equipment in designated laboratory.
- Answers phone and paging system as needed.
- Follows College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements.
Works in a busy environment around physicians, technologists, and other hospital team member. Works in an area, which contains biohazardous (infectious) materials along with chemical, fire, and mechanical hazards. Each team member has the responsibility to work in a safe manner. May be required to stoop, reach and lift light (20 pound) to moderately heavy (50 pound) loads. May be required to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.

Identifies manual and/or mechanical cleaning according to the manufacturer's IFU for all general instrumentation.
Determines, prepares, and uses supplies required in the assembly process.
Identifies, inspects, assembles general instruments, checking for cleanliness & functionality utilizing count sheets.
Packages and labels instrumentation.
Safely operates sterilization equipment and perform verification and documentation of sterilization process.
Performs high temperature (steam) and low temperature (gas plasma) sterilization.
Physical Requirements
Works in-patient care areas independently under stressful conditions.

Education, Experience and Certifications.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required within 2 years of hire.

- Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
- Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
- Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
- Feeds and ambulates patients/residents according to specific procedures.
- Maintains patient/resident's rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
- Observes and reports changes in patient/resident conditions.
- Orients patients/families to unit and instructs patient on safety measures.
- Assists with clerical work such as, including answering phones, entering data and maintaining medical records.
- Maintains stock supply items in inventory management.
- Performs duties as outlined in the scope of Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II tasks (per applicable state Board of Nursing Nurse Aide I and Nurse Aide II Tasks List).
- Perform technical tasks with appropriate training such as administering a 12- Lead Electrocardiogram test and routine venipuncture.
Physical Requirements
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stretching, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak and understand English in good understandable terms. Must have manual and finger dexterity. Physical abilities testing required.
Education, Experience and Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.

Coordinate the intake and start-up process for clinical research studies including industry-sponsored, investigator-initiated, and collaborative research.

Liaise with internal stakeholders (regulatory teams, study team, investigators, pharmacy, legal, OCR Pre-Award team, and IRB) and external partners (sponsors, CROs) to drive timely study activation.

- Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting/updating pertinent health information (i.e. chief complaint, allergies, medications).

- Uses resources and critical thinking skills to assist inbound callers. Makes outbound calls when required or when follow up is deemed necessary.

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) CMC Thoracic Oncology Clinic is an outpatient oncology practice that provides comprehensive care for patients with thoracic malignancies, including lung cancer, mesothelioma, thymic malignancies, and other complex thoracic diseases. Our multidisciplinary team includes medical oncologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, pulmonology specialists, and advanced practice providers (APPs) who work collaboratively to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. The clinic is supported by experienced nurses, medical assistants, care coordinators, referral coordinators, and administrative staff dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience for patients and families. In addition to providing advanced diagnostic, treatment, and survivorship services, the clinic offers access to clinical trials and specialized programs that support the full continuum of cancer care.
This position also provides leadership oversight for the LCI Float Pool, a team of clinical staff who support multiple outpatient oncology specialties across Levine Cancer Institute. The Float Pool partners with clinic leaders to maintain staffing flexibility, support operational needs, and ensure continuity of high-quality patient care across ambulatory oncology practices. Together, the Thoracic Clinic and Float Pool are committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences through collaboration, evidence-based practice, quality, safety, and innovation.
We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BSN
- Previous management experience preferred
- Previous Oncology experience preferred

- Shadowing with other RN Clinical Supervisor; shadowing in the sections assigned meeting with leaders across the department for awareness and relationship building

- Leads team to meet the managed care contracting objectives of MHR and the System.
- Ensures appropriate negotiation planning is completed and presented.
- Develops contracting strategy to support the growth of the System through meeting the critical needs of affiliate facilities as well as supporting operational changes within owned facilities.
- Ensures MHR team members negotiates appropriate contract rates and language within established deadlines with financial results that meets or exceeds net revenue budgets and net margin targets to support the mission of the System.
- Provides the System with accurate and current managed care market intelligence; maintains a working understanding of local/regional/national trends, conducts competitive market assessments, changes and impact of regulatory environment, changes and impact of payor initiatives and provides other information to support MHR and the System initiatives.
- Ensure Managed Care Analytics team members accurately and timely completes all required analyzes and contract modeling to support Managed Care Contracting and Payor Relations activities.
- Oversees the development and delivery of standard contract metrics, reporting frequency, and delivery of Executive Summary report to measure portfolio performance.
Physical Requirements
Performs most work under normal office conditions. May include sitting for long periods, standing, driving, walking. Intact sight and hearing with or without assistive devices required. Require frequent verbal and written communications in English to payors, teammates, physicians, and others throughout the System.
Education, Experience and Certification
Master's Degree required (MBA or MHA); Bachelor's Degree with comparable senior-level experience may be considered. Minimum seven years of contract negotiation experience required, or 10 years of combined provider and/or payor contracting experience. Must have a proven record of closing negotiations on time and at or above budget expectations, with demonstrated experience negotiating retail and specialty pharmacy contracts, including payer, PBM, specialty pharmacy, and retail network arrangements. Experience working for a pharmaceutical company or within the pharmacy services function of a multi-entity health system preferred.

Job Profile:
Performs duties relating to film and image management as well as various clerical support duties pertinent to Radiology.
Major Responsibilities:
- Answers telephone, screens and directs calls, and pages for calls within the department as necessary, and responds to requests for information. Verifies validity of telephone requests from physicians and/or patients for the release of radiology reports.
- Provides radiology reports and/or radiographic images to staff, physicians, patients and/or families upon request. Files, retrieves, and releases health information records and films.
- Retrieves images to print onto film or save onto compact disc read-only memory (CD-ROM) format. Digitizes outside films, pulls images from advanced workstation (AW) and loads into the picture archive and communication system (PACS). Downloads CD's onto PACS and retrieves images from PACS from other facilities. Performs all data entry, bar coding, and printing of bar code labels related to film management.
- Responsible for retrieving, logging out, and delivering film jackets to all areas as required. Prepares Radiology film release/copy forms and is responsible for obtaining appropriate legal authorization and verification.
- Explains film copy and sign out procedures to patients and assists them with required paperwork and routes them accordingly.
- Retrieves all films from specialty departments for timely interpretation on a regular basis. Ensures film jackets reflect pertinent information and required paperwork is processed before returning them to the department.
- Responds independently to problems, complaints, and questions from staff, patients, and visitors, and is responsible for handling or referring them as needed.
- Prioritizes x-ray requests when specific medical conditions are being questioned by the ordering physicians, i.e. line placements, pneumothorax, and free air.
- Maintains inventory of file room supplies and distribution. Schedules courier service to clinics and other facilities as required.
- Assists in the administration of the PACS system training program which includes, assisting in identifying and supporting user training, and troubleshooting training problems/issues.

$21.85 - $32.80Major Responsibilities:- Receives incoming calls from patients as well as business office team members to perform coverage updates. Updates information in the Electronic Health Record(s) (EHR) to ensure coverage is verified and accurate. Ensures appropriate steps are taken to initiate claims on affected transactions.
- Performs updates based on Visit Filing Order changes daily, ensuring claims are sent to the correct primary and/or secondary payor.
- Reviews electronic eligibility transactions returned for patients with upcoming services, as well as for services that have already been billed to the patient, performing the necessary updates to coverage as needed to ensure accuracy of coverage information.
- Sends and receives Customer Relationship Management requests (CRM) to communicate with other team members in the business office regarding patient-initiated insurance concerns.
- Follows up on patient-initiated insurance changes through the EHR Patient Portal and makes updates as necessary.
- Performs guarantor account updates based on patient-initiated requests, ensuring the appropriate guarantor type is being used based on billing requirements.
- Updates hospital account records (HARs) and visits to ensure Smart Chart identified data discrepancies are corrected.

YOU'LL NEED:
- Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care or satisfies the requirements as outlined in the admissions policies of the NBRC for registry examinations.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensed to practice as a RCP in the state of North Carolina required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Peds: PALS and NRP required within 90 days of employment.
- Adult: ACLS required within 90 days of employment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
- Provides respiratory therapies, following age appropriate standards of care and departmental policies and procedures throughout the hospital.
- Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support following age-appropriate standards of care.
- Reports routine clinical procedures regarding patients to relief personnel to ensure continuity of care for the patient. Performs and maintains competency for point-of-care testing, as assigned, ensuring compliance with WFBH policies and with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Provides invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety and appropriateness of care.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge and ensures QI to enhance service to customers.
- Ensures age/developmentally appropriate patient care is provided in accordance with Age-Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served.
