· PRN teammates are required to work 36 hours every 6 weeks at a minimum and holiday requirements
· Department is 7 days a week, 7 AM – 11 PM, therefore coverage requests may be any day of the week or time of day
· Must reside within 150 miles of the virtual hub (1601 Abbey Place, Charlotte, NC 28209)
· Work is completed virtually from a home office with long periods of sitting
· Ability to work 12-hour shifts
· Must be able to travel to the virtual hub in South Charlotte (28209) if connectivity issues arise.
Pay Range:
$33.05 - $49.60The Telemental Health Clinician II provides behavioral health consultations and post-discharge follow-up care for patients in acute care emergency departments across North Carolina and Georgia. You’ll collaborate closely with emergency department teams and psychiatry providers to deliver comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited graduate school - OR-
- Associates degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred). - AND -
- Full current licensure in North Carolina (LCMHC, LCSW, LPA, LMFT, or RN)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
- Experience in behavioral health, emergency/crisis work, and virtual/remote care preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and psychosocial evaluations using DSM criteria.
- Implement crisis plans and provide interventions for high-risk patients (suicidal, homicidal, psychotic, aggressive).
- Maintain current knowledge and expertise in behavioral health and treatment modalities.
- Identify and resole barriers to accessing behavioral health services.
- Adhere to professional standards and licensing board ethics.
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with medical staff, leadership and team members.
- Document assessments and progress updates in the medical record per departmental standards.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgement and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in policy development, implementation and evaluation.
- Collaborate with team members to manage consults through a shared patient list.
- Provide telephonic outreach and support for post-discharge patients as part of Virtual Patient Navigation.

We are a hospital-based clinic. We provide care to all different oncology diagnoses, benign hematology, and some off-service patients. We administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, IV fluids, iron, and also address urgent issues. It is a high paced environment, and we pride ourselves in working as a team.
Major Responsibilities:
- Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
- Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
- Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
- Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
- May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution, fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation.
- Pursues professional development, completes required education, and maintains certifications.
- Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics and practices ethical decision-making, respects interdisciplinary roles, and contributes to integrated, unbiased patient care.
- Appropriate delegation to other Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and unlicensed assistive personnel (i.e., nurse aides, credentialed medical assistants, etc.).
- Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
- May be required to float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
Minimum Job Requirements Education:
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Certification / Registration / License:
- Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.
- Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services

Experience:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
- Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.

- Assist with care and maintenance of transport equipment to ensure equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use. Inspect equipment before and after use to identify defective equipment. Report defective equipment immediately to supervisor.
- Monitor facilities to ensure environment is safe and clean (ensuring unattended equipment is removed from hallways, not blocking electrical panels, fire extinguishers or emergency exits)
- Maintain equipment inventory throughoutfacilities; stretchers, wheelchairs, beds, oxygen cylinders and carriers, IV poles, etc.

The Maternity department is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the exceptional team supporting maternity care, the NICU, lactation services, and childbirth education. Responsibilities include promoting a safe environment, maintaining clinical and professional competency, and addressing the age, developmental stages, and specialized needs of the patients served. The function of the Interventional Radiology Technologist is to assist in the various invasive Angio, and interventional procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Suite. Responsible for surgical scrub and circulation duties, performing total patient care during and post the procedure, while the patient is in the Interventional Radiology area.
Essential Functions:
- Performs specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage of interventional and angiographic procedures under the direction of a physician.
- Explains the procedure to the patient and preps the patient for the procedure.
- Obtains medications, radiopharmaceuticals, or contrast materials as directed for administration by a licensed practitioner, authorized/certified technologist, or registered nurse.
- Circulates during the procedure and maintains responsibility for patient comfort.

10T Medical Telemetry is a recipient of the PRISM award (Premier Recognition in the Specialty of Med/Surg) from the Academy of Medical/Surgical Nurses, given to outstanding acute care or Med/Surg units or adult/pediatric units classified as med/surg. It is a medical telemetry unit that provides inpatient care 24 hours a day to the adult population – 18 and up. Adult patients are admitted with acute medical and/or surgical conditions, many with multiple co- morbidities. The care is delivered for a wide range of diagnoses, some of these include COPD, diabetes, chest pain, shortness of breath, pneumonia, fever of unknown etiology and fluid & electrolyte imbalances. 10T also has the capacity for telemetry monitors up to 16 patients and administers/monitors several cardiac drips.
We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

JOB SUMMARY:
Independently plans and provides professional nursing care for patients in the ambulatory clinic settings in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred. Two years of acute care experience required. Prefer acute care experience within the last 10 years.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of North Carolina and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) may be required within one year in select areas.
