This will be a night shift job preferably Thursday-Sunday 1 to 2 shifts a week. Previous experience with Compumedics and Somnoware would be beneficial.
Pay Range:
$30.70 - $46.05POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health field preferred. Two years' experience in a sleep center or other healthcare setting and completion of an AASM A-Step program preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
Board registered in Polysomnography by the American Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists (RPSGT) and registered with the applicable state Medical Board. BCLS CPR certification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Performs and/or assists in performing quality procedures in field of Sleep Disorders Medicine. 2. Always obtains orders in accordance with policy and procedure relative to sedation/restraints; does not leave patient unattended, confirms patient?s chart and/or identity, using appropriate skills assessment to meet the patient?s needs. 3. Educates patients and their significant others in a manner to assure understanding. 4. Obtains appropriate data management and documentation and utilizes hospital resources appropriately. 5. Maintains cooperative working relationship with other departments and members of the medical system. 6. Communicates in an effective manner to provide efficient and quality services with high customer satisfaction. 7. Participates in educational activities to enhance patient care and quality. 8. Performs appropriate equipment management including operations and maintenance. 9. Identifies life-threatening situations and carries out emergency care as allowed by the scope of the job. 10. Ensures the continuous delivery of high quality patient care by consistently seeking new knowledge and application of skills obtained. Attends all required in-services without prompting and maintains CPR certification. 11. Utilizes appropriate competencies, guidelines and environment for safe patient care. Provides age/developmental appropriate patient care in accordance with Age/Developmental Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age group served. 12. Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.

Good oral, written, and listening communication skills Ability to provide direct and indirect sleep studies Strong technical skills in performance of sleep disorders Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses, and other ancillary professional staff Ability to perform multiple tasks under stress Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with public, patients, physicians, and other medical center staff WORK ENVIRONMENT: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings Clean, well-lit, comfortable, low noise environment Frequent exposure to diseases, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment Exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness) Possible exposure to odorous chemicals and flammable, explosive gases Potential exposure toinfections, contagious diseases, and bloodborne pathogens Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries Subject to many interruptions Contact with patients, family members, visitors, coworkers and medical staff under a wide variety of circumstances Required personal protective equipment: eye and face protection, gown, mask, lab coat, sterile and nonsterile gloves, shoe covers

Position Summary / Career Interest:
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is an important member of the physician's care team and critical for creating a pleasant and seamless patient experience within an ambulatory clinic. This work role is responsible for front desk operations including greeting and checking in customers and visitors, answering calls, copay collection, completing MyChart and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) appointment requests, processing external medical records and helping the physician care team prepare for their daily patient appointments. May assist with checking patients out and scheduling follow up activities as needed.
The hours for this part-time position are:
Fridays, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Saturdays, 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
Sundays, 6:30-10:30 a.m.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Pre-Visit SchedulingSchedule internal and external incoming department referrals.
- Schedules in person appointments, telehealth visits, surgeries, procedures and/or ancillary services using Epic Cadence decision trees.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of appointment types, locations, providers, and specialties.
- Works to achieve a coordinated patient itinerary sometimes consisting of multiple appointments.
- Responsible for registration of patient during the scheduling process, including entering demographics, insurance verification, completing the Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire (MSPQ), scanning and document preparation, updating documentation and processing of referrals/order/appointment requests.
- Preauthorization of clinic specific visits and procedures as needed.
- Assist patient with MyChart activation and support, including how to complete check-in online prior to the appointment.
- During Visit Standard Check-InResponsible for high volume patient clinic check in/out and phone reception – following health system standards.
- Secures patient signatures for consent and financial forms.
- Follows and completes all standard registration documentation and scanning process in the Health System EMR
- Responsible for collecting all point of service collections due per the EMR generated patient estimate including copay, co-insurance, and deductibles.
- Assist patient with MyChart activation and support.
- Responsible for outpatient clinic direct rooming
- Responsible for supporting patient through self-check-in utilizing MyChart and the EMR
- Post-Visit (Check-out/Follow Up Scheduling)Schedule follow up internal and external diagnostic and therapeutic orders creating a patient itinerary based on provider orders.
- Assist patient with MyChart activation and support.
- Ensure proper front desk coverage until last patient is dismissed from the clinic.
- Standard ResponsibilitiesAttends and participates in department clinic daily huddles and process improvement initiatives.
- Understands patient experience performance expectations for ease of scheduling appointment, degree to which you were informed of delays, likelihood to recommend practice, courtesy of front desk and staff worked together for your care.
- Supports both front desk and scheduling (telephone and MyChart) workflows.
- Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with providers and the clinical care team.
- Has a working knowledge of patient related policies and procedures as well as an understanding of the University of Kansas Health System services and programs.
- Follows the Health System standard apparel policy.
- Effectively communicates Health System Policies to patients and patient advocates.
- Familiarity with insurance coverage types (HMO, PPO, VA, Medicare)
- Expected to provide coverage at alternate locations to help meet critical staffing level needs, as delegated by management.
- Supports and participates in patient experience initiatives including marking campaigns and event registration
- Responsible for daily maintenance of workspace and following environmental health cleaning guidelines according to Health System policy and procedures.
- Responsible for following personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines according to Health System policy and procedures.
- Expected to complete necessary training and successfully pas 30-60-90-day quality assessments.
- Remains in clinic until last patient is checked out and any follow-up visits are scheduled.
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Bring your passion for the acute care Orthopedic population to help us achieve our mission of making healthcare easier so life can be better for the patients on the 6th floor at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center. This unit serves several robust orthopedic practices and supports their patients after total joint replacements, spine surgeries and general trauma. Our unit has 21 beds serving our patient population that includes general telemetry monitored and medical patients.
This unit participates in our Progress-In-Place initiative meaning our patients remain on the same unit for treatment even when their acuity level increases or decreases between. We serve both Medical Surgical and Progressive Care acuity patients on the same unit.
Our nurses work collaboratively alongside our physician partners and the multidisciplinary team, and we are proud to operate in a high-reliable organization structure. Our nurses have opportunities to represent the nursing profession through hospital-wide and unit-specific process improvement committees and shared leadership and receive a tailored and robust onboarding with help from our RN Operational Support Specialist and facility educator.
We have a Part-time, Night shift (7pm-7:30am) position available, 2 / 12-hour shifts per week. We utilize a self-schedule tool for shift and weekend coverage. We also offer an 18%-night shift differential, and an additional flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology programs. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) based on modalities in which they will be conducting work and licensure by the state regulatory agency as applicable. As of August 1, 2019, all Multi-Modality Technologist's hired on or after August 1,2019 will be required to have an advance certification by an accrediting body in a specialty if applicable. BLS certification required.
This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience. Must be actively working in each certified modality, in accordance with the needs of the facility. The Multi-Modality Technologist I will be required to rotate and cover department scheduling as needed and required in areas where obtained certifications apply. Multi-Modality Technologist I requires certification in two (2) or more of the following modalities: Radiologic (X-ray), Computed Tomography (CT), Bone Densitometry (DEXA), Mammography, Breast Sonography, Angiography.

As a RN on our Neuro Acute Care Unit 4D, you will have the opportunity to work with both Neurology and General Progressive Care patients. Our telemetry patients are monitored using Phillips telemetry packs from centralized viewing stations located on the unit and within our centralized monitor room. We utilize Caregility equipment that can connect utilizing telemedicine technology with a provider for real time management of patient care. The system consists of a screen where a provider is visible, a microphone, and an adjustable camera that hosts night vision technology.

Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology programs. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) based on modalities in which they will be conducting work and licensure by the state regulatory agency as applicable. As of August 1, 2019, all Multi-Modality Technologist's hired on or after August 1,2019 will be required to have an advance certification by an accrediting body in a specialty if applicable. BLS certification required.
This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience. - Answer resident calls promptly.
- Ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
- Weighs resident using upright, chair and bed scale.
- Measure and record temperatures, pulse, and respirations, as instructed.

- Transfers or weighs residents using appropriate lift.
- Assists residents in use of bathroom, shower urinal, bedpan and commode for residents.

- Removes non-functional equipment and supplies from service and reports problems to the proper department(s) for corrective action.
- Inspects working and storage areas and ensures clean and orderly conditions.
- Works safely; complies with all department, the System and OSHA safety regulations, as well as performs good housekeeping.
- Completes and submits daily the inspection checklist when using any powered piece of equipment (if required by department.)

Make an impact throughout the surgical patient journey as an Advanced Practice Provider within the Department of Surgery.
This APP serves as a key clinical member of the surgical team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum of surgical services. With a strong focus on ambulatory specialty care, this role provides the opportunity to independently manage post-operative and surveillance patients while developing expertise in complex wound and ostomy care.
Working closely with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams, the APP plays an important role in coordinating care, supporting patients throughout their surgical journey, and helping optimize outcomes across care settings.

What You’ll Do
Provide Specialized Surgical Care
1. Provide autonomous outpatient management for post-operative patients, surveillance populations, and patients requiring complex wound or ostomy care.
2. Conduct histories and physical examinations, perform ongoing clinical assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide continued patient education and support.
Support Patients Throughout Their Care
1. Provide education and longitudinal support to help patients navigate their ongoing surgical care.
Collaborate Across the Surgical Team
1. Partner closely with surgeons and interdisciplinary team members to optimize perioperative care and manage complex patient needs.
2. Coordinate transitions across care settings and serve as an advocate for patients throughout their care journey.
Contribute Beyond the Clinic
1. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, workflow development, and process improvement efforts.
2. The role also provides opportunities to engage in research and professional development and contribute to the continued development of the specialty program.
