Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Medical Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. They are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion during all interactions.

Actual compensation offered in the Pay Range of: $21.85 - $32.80 for a MA; or $24.10 - $36.15 for an LPN. Salary is based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience and/or training.
We’re Looking For:
Licensure or Certifications:
- LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required.
- MA: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required.
Degrees:
- GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
- LPN: Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing
- MA: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, AND 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
What You’ll Do:
Clinic Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-7pm, Friday: 7:30am-6pm, Saturday: 8:30am-12:30pm. Holiday hours are subject to change.
Schedule: must work 1 late night a week and 1 weekend a month
As a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.
As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will:
- Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
- Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
- Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.

Banner Ocotillo Medical Center is a new, comprehensive medical center located in Chandler, AZ. The hospital has 124 beds with ample shelled space for future growth. The hospital offers key inpatient and outpatient services, such as emergency care, intensive care, endoscopy, cardiac catheterization, imaging, surgical and women’s services. The hospital utilizes cutting-edge technology to improve safety and quality, including robotic surgeries, UV disinfecting lighting, and smart devices for all caregivers.POSITION SUMMARY
This position conducts heavy cleaning and floor care work such as carpet cleaning, stripping/refinishing hard floor surfaces, and special projects. Operates and maintains power cleaning equipment and responds to assigned service requests such as project cleaning, equipment removal, trash or linen removal. Sets an example of excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and clean environment and identifying safety issues related to housekeeping.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Responds promptly to all requests for cleaning services via computerized and paper based tracking systems. Conducts requested work, such as removal, replacement, cleaning of equipment and furniture, or cleaning of an area. Maintains reports by keeping task and infection control logs of completed daily tasks and events, and documentation required for the request tracking system. Focuses on, and serves as a role model of, responsive customer service.
2. Performs specialty cleaning and infection control functions in specialized areas such as clinical areas, surgical suite, Cath lab, specialty rooms, and sterile areas. Conduct specialized gowning and cleaning procedures specific to infectious elements in isolation rooms. Maintains proper Infection Control cleaning standards at all times, including hand hygiene requirements.
3. Maintains cleanliness and operational functioning of department equipment and notifies appropriate personnel of needed repairs. Protects equipment from damage by proper use and properly logs out and in equipment that is used.
4. Assesses environmental conditions to ensure that the facility is neat, clean, safe and orderly. Anticipates and resolves clutter and safety issues. Exercises judgment in deciding which problems need to be quickly referred to a Supervisor for assistance. Maintains communication with immediate supervisor and/or facilities services staff, about status of repair completion in the facility; follows up as assigned.
5. Provides leadership for less experienced associates. May assist with on-the-job training for other staff in cleaning techniques, chemical usage, supply restocking, and infection control procedures including hand hygiene. Focuses on and serves as a role model of responsive customer service.
6. Performs scheduled floor care procedures including dust mopping, mopping, stripping and refinishing, burnishing, and carpet extraction. Calculates quantities and mix ratio of cleaning chemicals.
7. Works under regular supervision within assigned facility. Internal customers include staff, physicians, nurses, patients, visitors, supervisors, managers, and executives. External customers include visitors, patients, and employees from other facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires the skills, knowledge and abilities normally acquired over one to two years of diversified environmental service work experience in a health care or institutional setting. Must have a working knowledge of how to operate typical industrial cleaning equipment and the use of cleaning techniques appropriate to the healthcare environment. Must have basic math skills. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing to provide instructions and information to others. Must be able to interpret and respond appropriately to verbal and written instructions. Must accomplish assigned work despite frequent interruptions and changing priorities, and have the ability to multi-task in coordinating several projects simultaneously. Must serve as a role model to others in customer service skills, safe work practices, and infection control including hand hygiene.
Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral, and BUMG, BUMCT, or BUMCS in a Behavioral Health clinical setting that serves children must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. A Patient Care Tech (PCT) at ProMedica plays a vital role in the health and safety of our patients every day. From caring for patients to performing clerical services, a PCT helps all members of the ProMedica health care team while complying with standards, procedures, and policies. ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Applies the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served (i.e.: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric), coordinated and delegated by licensed nursing personnel.
- Obtains patient data, including vital signs, height, weight, and I and O measurements and documents on the daily nursing assessment sheet or communicates results to the assigned RN. Notifies RN of abnormal vitals or PGLUs immediately.
- Assists physicians and nursing staff with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care depending on assigned department, including but not limited to: Venipuncture, point of care testing including newborn screening, hearing, and CCHD testing, patient transport, assist patients with ADLs, assist patients with ambulation, 12 lead EKG’s, initiation of cardiac monitoring, CPR, and urinary catheterization.
- Ensures an adequate stock of supplies and equipment. Ensures proper functioning of equipment, including initial cleaning of instruments.
- Performs communication and coordination duties related to scheduling procedures, along with coordinating admission, discharge, transfer, and death. Collects data, photocopies information, answers telephone, takes messages, directs calls, and enters information into the computer.
- Picks up and delivers specimens, documents, and other items. Supports department during crisis by functioning as liaison with other departments and the public.
- Prepares and maintains patient records according to standards/policy.
- Performs any other job related to duties as indicated.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent plus EMT/Paramedic, 2nd year nursing student, CNA, MA, or healthcare related higher education training.
- Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak the English language. Must have excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette. Ability to perform basic math and must have basic computer skills. Ability to deal effectively with a changing environment and be open to new ideas. Ability to function quickly in stressful situations. Must have medical terminology and the ability to operate diagnostic equipment. Must be a Notary in the State of Michigan (OB only).
- Years of Experience: Minimal one year experience in an acute care setting delivering patient care.
- Certification: BLS, System Approved De-escalation training per unit requirements.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Education: One year of college education in the healthcare field.
- Skills: IV/Phlebotomy skills, basic telemetry, ability to use safe patient handling equipment

The primary purpose of this position is to assign ICD/CPT codes to participant health information for data retrieval, analysis, and claims processing. Duties also include abstracting and validating data from medical records and providing education on documentation to support HCCs.
Position Details:
This is a fully remote position. Work hours will be 8 to 430 or 7 to 330 Eastern.
Training will take place in person in Livonia, MI for one week (expenses paid). Onsite training is required for position. Onsite training would take place during the 2nd week of employment.
What you will do:
- Evaluate medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures and accurately assigns and sequences ICD and CPT codes. Abstracts and validates information. Seeks out validating information as needed.
- Conduct documentation spot checks and respond to audit feedback.
- Ensure timely, accurate client care documentation for billing.
- Monitors and informs manager of records that are not completed timely. Monitors, investigates and takes appropriate action for records that are not coded, billed, or rejected.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines and reimbursement requirements.
- Maintains participant confidentiality and abides by HIPAA guidelines.
- Assures site staff compliance with federal/state and accreditation regulations through record review, case conferencing and communication.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. 2 years of completed college coursework preferred.
- Must have one of the following certifications: Certified Outpatient Coder, Certified Coding Specialist, Certified Professional Coder thru AAPC or Registered Health Information Technologist or Registered Health Information Administrator thru AHIMA

Pay and Benefit Expectations

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain areas such as patient towers, public areas, exam rooms, offices, etc., the Environmental Aide's essential duties include:
- Cleaning all surfaces
- Disinfecting all surfaces
- Dusting all surfaces
- Replenishing all supplies
- Spot cleaning carpet and upholstery
- Cleaning up spills
- Changing linen and making beds
- Operating vacuum cleaning equipment
- Dust mopping and damp mopping floors, stairs, and landings
- Disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste k. Reporting needed equipment repair and all unsafe situations
Requirements:
- Walk and stand for approximately 90% of work time.
- Frequently squat, kneel, and lift; Occasionally bend and twist.
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
- Lift, turn, push, pull, and position equipment; Ability to utilize safe body mechanics.
- Identifies safety risks, provides feedback and helps address safety issues.
- Actively follows safety policies, procedures and practices.
- Assists in establishing and maintaining an environment that is clean and conducive to patients, visitors, and co-workers' well-being and safety.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Able to read and write English. Possesses basic math skills.
Experience: Three months customer service or cleaning experience prefered.

POSITION PURPOSE
· We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Nurse Coordinator on our 4 East, 35-bed unit consisting of 27 Inpatient Rehab beds and 8 Medical-Surgical beds. The Nurse Coordinator plays a vital leadership role in delivering safe, high-quality care and ensuring smooth day-to-day unit operations in collaboration with the Nurse Manager. This is a frontline leadership position that combines clinical expertise with team support and resource management.
· This position is Full-Time, scheduled 40 hours per week. Rotating schedules with two 12-hour shifts per week and two 8-hour shifts per week. Scheduled Monday to Friday day shift with no weekends, holidays or on-call.
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Current Michigan Nursing License
· Graduation from accredited nursing program: BSN Required
· Minimum of three years staff experience.
· One-year related practice experience in clinical area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Day-to-Day Operations & Leadership: The Nurse Coordinator assumes delegated accountability from the Nurse Manager for staffing, scheduling, workflow coordination, and operational oversight.
· Charge Nurse Leadership: Function as the Charge Nurse and operational lead during assigned shifts.
· Daily Unit Rounds: Lead weekday rounds to review patient status, staffing, and care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
· Patient Assignments & Workflow: Prepare the daily agenda, assign nurse/tech teams, set break schedules, and organize overall workflow for the unit.
· Staffing & Scheduling Support: Assist in forecasting staffing needs and adjusting schedules based on patient census and acuity.
· Admissions Oversight: Review new admissions for clinical appropriateness and coordinate necessary accommodations for care.
· Collaboration & Communication: Maintain regular dialogue with the Nurse Manager and Nurse Educator to align on priorities, implement initiatives, and support staff development.
· Mentorship & Team Development: Coach and support staff, model professional behavior, and resolve conflicts using Relationship-Based Care principles.
· Operational Awareness: Be familiar with the unit’s budget and the volume-adjusted staffing model to support effective resource use.
· Joint Commission Preparation: Implementing and reinforcing standards, protocols, and compliance measures.
