Education
Required - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Work Experience
Required -None.
Certifications
Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification within 30 days of hire.
Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
Preferred -Certification in clinical specialty area.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed.
Ability to demonstrate good judgement.
Good interpersonal skills.
Job Duties
Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
Assesses learning needs and implement teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family and other groups or disciplines.
Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
Utilizes data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale and improvement in the profession of nursing.
Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.

Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. Education
Required - Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
Work Experience
Required - None.
Preferred - CT experience.
Certifications
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or computed tomography ARRT (CT) certified OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry eligible, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of employment, and temporary state license.
CT registry eligible within one year.
Advanced certification in CT within one year of becoming CT registry eligible.
Current unrestricted license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred - Advanced certification in CT by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of CT procedures and technical language.
Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure.
Ability to be self-directed and to function without direct supervision.
Ability and willingness to have and maintain flexibility in work duties and hours (may require flexible schedule such as nights, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended shifts, etc.) and travel throughout and between facilities.
General knowledge of cardiac anatomy, Doppler physics, and the hemodynamics of blood flow in relation to the various disease states.
Ability to preliminarily identify stenosis or occlusion based on nationally published criteria.
Ability to assist attending physicians with interventional procedures requiring ultrasonic guidance.
Job Duties
Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.
Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protocol (including placement of IV).
Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.
Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performing notification/remediation as warranted.
Assists in the facilitation of departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance, etc.).
Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
Performs other related duties as required.

Job Duties
Enforces all company safety and security rules, regulations, and policies on company property.
Conducts routine inspections of on-site and off-site locations of the company.
Investigates accidents and other incidents which are assigned and reports all occurrences in a timely manner.
Performs opening/lockdown of all buildings as approved by Administration and performs other safety and security related duties as assigned.
Participates in emergency response and related preparedness drills.
Maintains required annual certifications and completes training requirements within required time periods.
Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.

- Serves as the first point of contact for HR call inquires and written inquires received through e-mail by providing accurate, timely and consistent responses.
- Identifies and troubleshoots problems that need escalation and assists customers with difficult issues by demonstrating emphatic communication and helping de-escalate situations.
- Responds appropriately to customer related inquiries and issues utilizing appropriate reference materials while attempting to resolve the customer’s inquiry upon first call/contact. Escalates inquiries, when necessary, to the appropriate team member.
- Documents detailed information including caller, issue and needs of the customer in the HR call tracking system. Ensures data is accurate, identifies and escalates priority issues and routes call to appropriate team/person.
- Achieves first call resolution of 85% or above.
- Assists with training of new Associates by providing guidance and instruction on applicable software programs and reviewing FAQs. Reviews ticket details of new Associates to ensure accuracy and provide feedback to ensure tickets are documented according to department guidelines.
