Baptist Health Louisville is expanding, and our 30+ bed Observation Unit plays a key role in supporting the Emergency Department and telemetry units. We care for low‑acuity patients who need short‑term evaluation before determining whether admission is required. This fast‑paced unit offers strong nurse‑to‑patient ratios and is well‑suited for nurses with Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, or other acute‑care experience.
Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive assessments and reassessments.
Develop individualized, evidence‑based plans of care.
Provide care aligned with hospital policies, professional standards, and our mission and values.
Evaluate patient responses and adjust care as needed.
Use strong critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and organizational skills in daily practice.

The Transport Team provides service to the hospital 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We offer a variety of shifts to fit your school, social or pre-professional schedule. Day Shift positions start between 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Mid Shift positions start at 3:00 p.m., and Night Shift positions start at 8:30 p.m.
Full-time and part-time positions are available with an every third weekend requirement.
PRN positions are available with an every other weekend requirement.
Responsibilities
Performs activities related to transportation of patients to and from diagnostic testing, room to room transfers, discharge, and admission as directed by nursing and ancillary departments. Serves the customer base in the facility such as: patients, visitors, physician offices, ancillary departments and nursing units.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous hospital/transport experience desirable.

Under limited supervision, coordinates patient care in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines and regulations through IRB approved protocol requirements. The research nurse coordinator works collaboratively with the patient, other research staff, support system, referring physicians’ staff, radiologists, surgeons, supporting physician, pathologists, pathway staff and sponsors. In collaboration with the investigators, assess patients for changes in condition, adverse events, concomitant medication use, protocol compliance, response to study drug, and thoroughly document findings.
The research nurse is also responsible for the development and education of treatment plans and/or order sets and nursing education when applicable to a clinical trial. Completion of study feasibilities and coordination of various pre-study activities are facilitated by the research nurse coordinator in collaboration with research management, staff and investigator.
Qualifications:
BSN with two years' experience.
In lieu of BSN, ADN with 5 years’ experience is acceptable.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and support services to patients and families. This role performs selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and overall care of patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year clinical classes in nursing school and validation of a clinical consistent with level of education.
-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, applicants must obtain -BLS within 30 days of their hire date.

Under general direction, the Application Support Analyst is responsible for Epic and other 3rd party application training and integration of information technology in the healthcare setting.
This position will serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to align system design with operational processes for Baptist Health Medical Group and Epic Community Connect sites. This role ensures that all users are proficient in using Epic applications to enhance patient care and operational efficiency including data collection, workflow analysis, testing, training, system user personalization and ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve user issues and optimize system performance.
Participates in application deployment and procedure documentation. Ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and MIPS (Promoting Interoperability). Mentors Associate and Intermediate level analysts to reach their credentialing goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, Clinical degree (MA, LPN, RN) or two years direct healthcare experience in patient registration, patient access, or billing/coding in an ambulatory setting, including but not limited to management/supervisor experience.
Training in an adult learning setting, working in a physician practice setting preferred
Epic Credentialing in all applications used in the medical group. EpicCare Ambulatory, Beacon, ASAP for UC, Research, Cadence, Referrals, ADT for UC, Beaker, and OnBase.

Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines. Job Description:
The Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.

As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
Basic life support [must be obtained within 30 days of hire.]
ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.
Those with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.

About the Unit:
The House Float Pool consists of seasoned, experienced nurses who can work on any inpatient unit that is in need of additional staffing. The House Float department is also home to the house management staff who allocate staffing resources, provide guidance when issues present and supervise the float staff. Nurses need a minimum of two years recent acute care nursing experience in the hospital setting and be comfortable floating to multiple areas.
Job Duties:
The House Float Nurse assesses and identifies patient needs and implements appropriate interventions for the patient. The Nurse establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently. House Float nurses must have strong critical thinking skills and the ability to move from situation-to-situation quickly.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:
Active Kentucky RN License
BCLS Required
ACLS Required within 6 months
A minimum of two years acute care experience required

Job Description:
Baptist Health Surgery Center Eastpoint is hiring for an IntraOp Pain Registered Nurse PRN. The Pain IntraOp RN provides direct patient care throughout interventional pain management procedures in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting. Responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, assisting physicians during minimally invasive pain procedures, administering and monitoring moderate sedation as appropriate, maintaining sterile technique, documenting patient care, and ensuring patient safety throughout the intraoperative experience.
This nurse works closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver efficient, high-quality care while promoting positive patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
Requirements
Active Kentucky License
BCLS Required within 90 days
ACLS Required within 6 months
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Pain Management, Operating Room, Procedure Room, PACU, or Ambulatory Surgery experience preferred.
Experience with moderate sedation strongly preferred.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment focused on patient satisfaction and efficiency.
