Position Purpose: The radiology nurse's role requires a high level of knowledge, expertise and independence because the department provides services to a wide variety of patients with diverse needs and about whom information may be limited. Radiology nurses routinely start or check peripheral IVs, assess infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foleys and help patients with their personal needs.
What you will do:
Performs nursing activities in the Diagnostic Radiology, CT and MRI areas.
* Interacts efficiently, professionally and courteously with all contacts.
* Verifies patient orders, proper procedure, patient identification, and assures appropriate
consent(s) have been obtained before proceeding with any procedure.
* Proficiently establishes intravenous (IV) access in preparation for studies
requiring IV contrast injections.
* Monitors patients undergoing procedures, appropriately administers medications/contrast
media and accurately documents activities.
* Recognizes signs and symptoms of allergy/contrast reaction and responds
appropriately.
* Practices proper sterile technique and adheres to infection control guidelines.
*Provides appropriate post procedure care and discontinue IV site
*Assists in the performance of Interventional Radiology procedures.
* Interacts efficiently, professionally and courteously with all contacts.
* Verifies patient orders, proper procedure, patient identification, and assures appropriate consent(s) have been obtained before proceeding with any procedure.
* Possesses working knowledge of procedures performed, including scheduling, indications,
technical accomplishment and potential risks/complications.
* Monitors patients undergoing procedures, appropriately administers medications/contrast
media and accurately documents activities.
* Proficiently establishes intravenous (IV) access as needed.
* Proficiently sets up and maintains pressure lines.
* Anticipates changes in patient condition based on knowledge of procedures and disease
processes.
* Instructs patients regarding procedure and post procedure care.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
* Minimum of two years’ experience in a critical care or radiology area required.
* Meets all required optional and non-optional criteria for Level II as defined at Ladder Program in the in the Radiology Department at Holy Cross Hospital.
Licensure:
* Licensed RN in the State of Florida is required. Bachelor of Nursing is preferred. (BSN)
* Current BLS, ACLS are required.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
Manage chronic conditions
Evaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits.
Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic testing

Qualifications:

The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and guarantors in the hospital, ambulatory or medical office setting. Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in all aspects of Neurosurgery including inpatient, outpatient, and in the operating room, and will work collaboratively with our current team of 2 Neurosurgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers as well as other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive Neurosurgical assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
Evaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits.
Conduct pre-operative and post-operative visits
Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic testing
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with collaborating physicians
Provide patient education on conservative management, operative planning, and pre- and post-operative instructions
Assist with hospital rounding, new consults, and discharge planning (if applicable)
Participate in care coordination with other providers and specialties.
Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the Electronic Medical Record
Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practice standards.
First assist in the Operating Room for Neurosurgical patients
Assist with call coverage.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
National Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) OR national board certification as a Physician Assistant.
Current Physician Assistant or APRN license in the State of Florida.
Preferred Skills:
2+ years of Neurosurgical experience, including first assist in the operating room.
Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record a plus

Candidates must be willing to train in CT, with on-the-job training provided. Position offers an additional $4 per hour worked on top of your base pay.
This position offers a variety of shifts, including first, second, third, and weekend hours, to help ensure adequate coverage and support for our patients across multiple locations.
No mandatory call or holiday rotation.

Pay Range:
$28.55 - $53.25Major Responsibilities:- Competently performs basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and general fluoroscopic.
- Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm acknowledgment of patients' understanding and address any questions or concerns.
- Positions patients and selects exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, and provides patient with radiation protection and safety in accordance with prescribed methods.
- Identifies patient and labels images pertaining to the patient, compares requisitions to physician's orders to ensure exam accuracy, and processes images ensuring quality of radiographs and calls back patients as necessary.
- Assists, communicates and consults with the Radiologists.
- Prepares and maintains records in accordance with various regulatory agencies and enters patient and study information into the radiology information system, and documents billing codes of procedures performed to ensure accurate patient charges.
- Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin, and
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months.
Education Required:
- Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience Required:
- No experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Competent in radiology positioning and techniques.
- Knowledge of basic radiation safety and radiology equipment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills to work effectively with physicians, patients and other staff members.

The Therapy Aide provides administrative, operational, and participant support for the therapy department. Working under the direction of licensed therapists, this role assists with therapy-related activities, maintains treatment areas and equipment, and helps ensure a positive experience for participants and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support physical and occupational therapy staff with non-clinical activities and departmental operations.
- Assist participants with established exercise programs, functional activities, hydrotherapy preparation, and superficial heat/cold treatments under therapist direction.
- Help participants safely adjust equipment and get on and off therapy devices as needed.
- Maintain treatment spaces by cleaning equipment, changing linens, stocking supplies, and ensuring therapy areas are organized and ready for use.
- Monitor equipment and supply inventory, identify maintenance needs, and communicate ordering requirements to management.
- Observe and report participant concerns, precautions, or changes in status to supervising therapists.
- Collaborate with participants, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties, including filing, copying, distributing documents, and supporting departmental workflows.
- Participate in required training and maintain compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience working with frail, elderly, or aging populations preferred; training provided for candidates with less experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
