Provides security services with a customer-service approach, focusing on professionalism, fairness, and compassion evenin challenging circumstances andin accordance withpolicies, procedures, and training.
Inspires confidence in patients, visitors, and team members by presenting a professional, approachable, and service-oriented appearance and demeanor.Isalert, observant, and ethical.Complies withand enforces all safety and securityrules and regulations. Maintains Department uniform and equipmentingood repair.
Performs routine responsibilities during interior and exterior patrols to ensure safety and security, including but notlimited to inspections toidentifyvulnerabilities, hazards, and fire conditions, audits of Interim Life Safety Measures,patient valuables management, and thorough contraband searches.Assiststeam members, patients, and visitors byproviding information, directions, and physical help. Ensures traffic control, monitors conduct of visitors on premises andconfronts unauthorizedpersonsfor questioning.
Prevents, responds to, and investigates workplace violence. Responds to service calls, such as combative or threateningpatients or visitors and team member incidents.
Serves as a primary resource for de-escalation,utilizinguse offorcewhen necessary (e.g.conducted electrical weapon(CEW), handcuffing.)
Performs key responsibilities to plan, prevent, practice, and respond to emergencies such as lost or abductedinfants/children, fire, and active threats.
Respondsimmediatelyto emergency and crisis situations; physically intervenesin accordance withtraining to situationsthat havea potentialfor injury.
Investigatesincidents that occur on Advocate Health property andcompletestimelyandaccuratereports. Addresses andescalates complaints to theappropriate leaderand provides supporting documentation.
Performs liaison rounding duties to cultivate close partnerships with all departments and units. Delivers securityawareness education to team members toleveragetheirassistancein the overall security of the site.
Liaisons with federal, state, and local law enforcement and first responder agencies. Coordinates, briefs, and monitorsevery law enforcement prisoner patient guard to ensure policy compliance and prevent unsafe practices.
Assistsas a training resource for the Department. Serves as the preceptor for probationary officers and implements theirorientation, onboarding, and assessment, compiles feedback,maintainstraining records for the department, trainscompetencies for all officers. Prepares lesson plans for officers that do not meet training expectations. Serves as a fieldinstructor when assigned,maintainsinstructor level certifications, and provides trainingin accordance withstandards.
Maintains current Department training standards in radio communications, verbal de-escalation, hemorrhage control(e.g. “STOP the BLEED”), CPR, application of clinical restraints, conducted energy weapon (e.g. TASER), to include trainingon any/all department-issued equipment and/or requirements identified in training academy and the Annual TrainingPlan.
Assistswith exterior traffic and crowd control, including parking enforcement, valet parkingassist, and vehicularassistance.
UtilizesInterview and Interrogation tactics to uncover information about incidents that have occurred.
Completes patrolling with a community-oriented approach.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) issued by the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) must be obtained on a one-time basis within two years of appointment to this role. Recertification is not required.
A valid driver’s license issued by the Division of Motor Vehicle.
For Illinois teammates: Firearm Owners Identification Card (FOID) issued by the Illinois State Police.
For Wisconsin teammates: Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ)
Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon (e.g. TASER) use within 90 days of hire and periodically thereafter.
Illinois team members must have completed State of Illinois 20-hour Basic Security Officer course
Education Required:
High school graduate or GED
Experience Required:
Typically requires 4 years of experience in a security, related public safety, or customer service area that includes experiences in responding to emergent situations and identifying and resolving issues that pose a potential risk to patients, visitors, teammates and/or property.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
An above average level of emotional intelligence, including empathetic and compassionate responses to teammate, visitor, and patient incidents.

Must successfully pass background investigation, drug screen, pre-placement physical and psychological screening assessment post-offer, pre-employment and periodically thereafter. Teammates already employed in Public Safety Officer position prior to “7-28-24” will have 18 months to comply.
Demonstrated ability to exercise mature judgment and sound reasoning while maintaining a courteous and tactful demeanor in dealings with teammates, visitors, and patients, even if they are verbally aggressive persons.
Demonstrated experience in quickly assessing dangerous situations and taking appropriate action.
Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communications.
Ability to use a computer to document work (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, navigating a web page, and database entry).
Ability to defend self-and/or others in case of physical confrontations when de-escalation efforts fail and there is cause to physically restrain a person against their will who is non-compliant and committing a criminal act or lacks capacity and is attempting to elope.
Ability to communicate effectively with people; ability to hear radio and telephone communications at both high and low decibels.
Ability to communicate via radio and telephone with clear diction without impediments
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must sit, stand, walk, and drive throughout the workday and must lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to push/pull with 35 lbs. of force.
Have 20/20 vision in both eyes or correctable to 20/20 with corrective lenses in both eyes.
May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, explosive, and radiation hazards. Protective clothing must be worn as necessary.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
Frequent exposure to aggressive behavior and emotionally charged situations.
Must be able to handle personal stress and possible violence.
Must be physically fit and able to walk all areas of the facilities and grounds, to restrain those who need restraint and be able to assist clinical teammates with lifting patients of all sizes.

This position has the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. The incumbent accepts accountability, applies competent clinical knowledge skills, and uses independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and by health care providers to whom care is delegated to achieve quality patient care outcomes. Performs the duties and responsibilities within the scope of a Registered Nurse (RN) - Level I, II, & III, as defined within the job description.The incumbent must demonstrate the knowledge and skills at the proficient level necessary to provide care that is relevant to the patient(s) under their care, as well as apply principles of growth and development over the life span. The incumbent also must possess the ability to assess and interpret patient data needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs. This role provides professional nursing care for patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Three (3) years of registered nurse experience if degree is BSN OR Five (5) years of registered nurse experience if ADN/Diploma
CAPE PROGRAM PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

This position independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
2. Applies and manages mechanical ventilators in collaboration with physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners, recommending adjustments to improve clinical condition, patient comfort and to expedite the weaning process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RRT required for all new hires to the position after October 1, 2015. Incumbents in the position as of October 1, 2015 must possess their RRT by October 1, 2017. A current license in state practiced as required by state law. In the state of Nevada, all incumbents must have their Blood Gas Technologist certification.
Banner Registry positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the specialty area.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required. In Home Care setting, must posses valid drivers license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.

1. Prepares patient for exam and treatment by taking and recording vital signs, symptoms and other necessary measurements and recording chief complaint; documents pain scores as appropriate. Reports condition of patient which may be indicative of change in the patient's condition to the clinician.

Coordinates and manages patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling of patients for clinic, hospital and other ancillary medical treatments and tests. Responsible for communicating test results to patient. Acts as a resource to clinician in order to provide optimal patient care. May administer medications in accordance with established policies and procedures or as directed.
4. Provides clerical support with patient/client notifications and documentation to include but not limited to complete medical records including labs, authorizations, X-Rays, hospital records and any previous care pertaining to each patient visit. Provides complete and accurate information necessary for billing related to the patient encounter in a timely fashion.
5. Maintains a clean, functional environment including cleaning and disinfection of equipment, exam rooms and storage areas. Disinfects equipment and instruments using appropriate solutions following sterilization procedures. Follows manufacturer's recommendations and OSHA guidelines in handling of hazardous substances. Performs basic maintenance of equipment and coordinates needed maintenance for prompt repairs.
6. Orders supplies as directed, stocks patient care areas. Medication ordering and tasks related to all medications (e.g. expired medications/equipment and recalls).
7. Develops and maintains effective communication mechanism with all external and internal customers. Exemplifies service orientation and the team concept in all contacts.
8. This position will complete all necessary on-boarding/orientation activities, including simulation training, as needed or directed.
9. This position works under the direct supervision of the providers. Job Duties:
Join our team as an HCQU Registered Nurse (RN) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and Autism living in the community.
This is primarily a work-from-home position with occasional field-based responsibilities throughout Centre, Lycoming, and Clinton Counties, as well as monthly travel to the Danville area for in-person staff meetings. Candidates should ideally reside within approximately 50 miles of Danville and the assigned service area.
HCQU RN’s provide services to adult individuals with Intellectual & developmental disabilities and/or Autism living in the community. Services provided include conducting training to individuals and their caregivers on physical and behavioral health, wellness, safety and personal development topics. HCQU RN’s also provide technical assistance services to individuals and teams to assist with navigating complex health concerns.
Requirements
- At least three (3) years of RN work experience is required.

Position Details:
Coordinate and promote quality healthcare services for people with serious and persistent mental illness and serious chronic health conditions through the provision of health related training, clinical expertise, and technical assistance. Goal is aimed at building and expanding the person's competency and capacity in the health care area. Facilitate access to and coordination of behavioral and physical health care services.
- Create global awareness of stake holders throughout the behavioral health system on physical health and behavioral health issues Build linkages to community and social supports to enhance coordination of medical and behavioral health and existing network of providers.
- Identify individuals who have extensive co-morbid physical and behavioral health conditions; Analyze individual and aggregate physical and behavioral health care utilization data Managed Care Organizations on these individuals;.
- Identify and provide- whenever possible through Case Managers-outreach to individuals who are over utilizing behavioral and physical health care services and offer them assistance in developing an individualized wellness plan.

- When necessary, accompany clients to medical appointments to ensure they are getting optimal services and provide follow up consultation and monitoring to ensure optimal compliance with providers' recommendations Plan and secure web-based and face-to-face trainings for behavioral health staff and consumers on common health-related conditions.
- Advocates for the health of the consumer by referring and facilitating access to quality physical and behavioral health services intended to meet individualized needs; facilitating access and coordination of behavioral and physical health care services assist and coach clients to advocate for themselves in meetings with health care providers.
- Develop preventative wellness plans for clients new to the system to preclude the development of chronic health conditions i.e. weight management, nutrition, health screenings, exercise, and smoking cessation; communicates regularly with individual consumers, caregivers, families, county representatives and local health care providers to establish priorities, identify training opportunities, and identify problem areas and needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:

- Assists physicians with therapeutic procedures that encompass vascular, neurological, spinal, and multi organ interventions from diagnostic examinations such as angiography and venography to complex treatments of stroke, aneurysms, embolization of hemorrhages or tumors of any area of the brain and body, catheter placements for drains or arterial infusions, and other image-guided interventions that are adjunct to OR procedures.
- Actively participates and scrubs into the Endovascular Lab cases to assist with the movement and alignment of equipment as well as the control of radiation throughout procedures.
- Provides care for the physical needs of patients by executing various Radiologic concepts to maximize performance. This includes positioning, physiology, procedure preparation, and technical factors. Modifies technical factors to achieve desired imaging results and recognizes complications/limitations associated with certain procedures. Proactively identifies how to address these for optimum outcomes.

- Follows radiation safety standards and conducts all imaging procedures accordingly. Properly utilizes patient radiation protection and immobilization during diagnostic procedures. POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting clinicians and nursing staff in providing medical care, as well as, implementing and evaluating direct patient care. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and skills to provide an excellent patient experience.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Prepares patient for exam and treatment by taking and recording vital signs, symptoms and other necessary measurements and recording chief complaint; documents pain scores as appropriate. Reports condition of patient which may be indicative of change in the patient's condition to the clinician.
2. Assists providers with exams and minor in-office procedures which could include taking patients’ blood pressure, documenting respiration and heart rate/pulse, taking temperature, as well as performing phlebotomies, ear irrigation and EKG’s. Acts as chaperon as needed. Uses universal blood and body fluid precautions at all times and personal protective equipment as needed. Responsible for prioritization of patient flow through clinical process.
3. Coordinates and manages patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling of patients for clinic, hospital and other ancillary medical treatments and tests. Responsible for communicating test results to patient. Acts as a resource to clinician in order to provide optimal patient care. May administer medications in accordance with established policies and procedures or as directed.
4. Provides clerical support with patient/client notifications and documentation to include but not limited to complete medical records including labs, authorizations, X-Rays, hospital records and any previous care pertaining to each patient visit. Provides complete and accurate information necessary for billing related to the patient encounter in a timely fashion.

7. Develops and maintains effective communication mechanism with all external and internal customers. Exemplifies service orientation and the team concept in all contacts.
8. This position will complete all necessary on-boarding/orientation activities, including simulation training, as needed or directed.
9. This position works under the direct supervision of the providers. This position interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
License/Certification:
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
- One (1) of the following required:
- Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR); or
- Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions.
Principal Accountabilities
- Performs MRI procedures on patients: Prepares patients for MRI exam, explains procedure, administers contrast when necessary, positions patients for the MRI scanner, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of the scan.
- Enters and monitors patient data.
- Performs quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and matrix camera. May assist with initial and renewal application for ACR and other accreditation.
- Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints or equipment malfunction to department management.
- Takes emergency call within the department.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

The position is accountable for developing departmental structure, processes, and outcome standards, typically for one unit. The job duties are distributed as follows: 50% Tactical (day-to-day activities like staffing and equipment availability), 40% Operational (budget management, supply acquisition, and employee performance evaluations), and 10% Strategic (developing goals to meet the Intermountain/Regional Strategic Plan and holding employees accountable to these goals).
Scope:
Level 1 Nurse Manager:
Manages <50 headcount or manages a department operating Monday through Friday.
Level 2 Nurse Manager-Complex:
Manages >50 headcount or more than 2 departments and manages a department operating 24/7.
Span of control may vary for leaders responsible for complex nursing programs with multi-center or enterprise-wide reach. Variances from established guidelines must be supported by demonstrated program complexity and scope and require iNet approval.
This role encompasses a range of responsibilities that report to a Nurse Director.
