Provides the facility with services in the areas of supply processing and distribution. Sterile processing has five major areas: Decontamination, processing (inspection, assembly and packaging), Sterilizing, Sterile Storage, and distribution.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Certified Registered Central Service Technician through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) through Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or due within 18 months of hire.

1. Provide exceptional patient care by providing prompt, accurate service
2. Provide supplies of sterile linen packs, basins, instrument trays, and other sterile items
3. Maintain accurate records of cleaning, disinfection, and thesterilization processes
4. Strive for consistency in the trays that the department provides
5. Monitor and enforce controls necessary to prevent cross-contamination according to infection control policies
6. Establish and maintain sterile processing standards
7. Implement changes as needed to stay current with new regulations and recommended practices
8. Review current practices for possible improvements in quality ofservices provided
9. Provideservices to other departments in all areas ofsterile processing
For facilities with specialty accreditation requirements:
1. Completion of annual required education related to specialty accreditation as defined by accreditation standards. Training may be completed through CBLs, trainings, In-services, and competency validation.

Patient safety event investigation (30%)
- Facilitates the timely investigation of select safety events and near miss events through the implementation of apparent cause analysis (ACA) and use of other investigative tools. Will participate in investigations at sites within their region.
- Assists the site safety leaders within their region with completing chart reviews, interviews and review of evidence based literature to support the cause analysis process.
- Conducts confidential interviews with those involved in the events in order to document the timeline of events and causal factors.
- Effectively facilitates the cause analysis process in a manner that facilitates trust and transparency.
- Reviews ACA’s completed by site managers, mentoring leaders to ensure an effective investigation and identification of corrective actions.
Supports a site culture of high reliability through involvement in the site's Patient Safety program (20%)
- Supports implementation of the site patient safety program including tools that promote reliability. These include but are not limited to participation in daily huddle, safety rounding, safety recognition, just culture, safety coach and physician champion programs among others.
- Teaches the Culture of Safety presentation to new associates in their initial orientation.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with associates and physicians in order to influence and advance site culture, working to ensure safe practices and behaviors are in practice by the front line.
- Maintains alignment of site work with system standards.
- Serves as a site patient safety resource to various committees or teams related to care delivery.
- Designs and gives presentation to various committees regarding patient safety and high reliability.
- Authors articles for newsletters or publication in support of patient safety and high reliability.
Patient safety data and report management (30%)
- Reviews reported patient safety events on a daily basis and recommends those that require investigation. May be asked to review reports from multiple sites.
- Appropriately codes individual cases to facilitate the collection of aggregate data for purposes of program design and goal setting.
- Ensures timely updates to the system safety data repositories in order to facilitate site and system data collection and analysis.
- Aggregates site patient safety data to identify trends and actionable items to advance site culture.
- Assists in preparing site reports in the form of tracking, trending, graphs or analyses regarding safety program outcomes.
Support of the site’s corrective actions resulting from event investigation.
- Serves as a resource to managers on effective corrective action design to minimize event recurrence.
- Assists in tracking corrective actions to ensure timely completion and implementation.
- Participates in the audits of effectiveness of key corrective actions.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Nurse, Registered (RN) OR Physical Therapist OR Pharmacist, Registered
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or allied health field or advanced degree in a health-related field preferred.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 4 years clinical experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Sound oral and written communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with and influence associates and medical staff

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Candidate must be willing to attend, onsite & offsite, department meetings and educational activities.
- Maintain proficiency in department’s software computer program.
- Able to travel to other Advocate sites within their designated region, and corporate meetings as appropriate, generally monthly.
- Candidate must be able to perform various physical tasks with a high degree of proficiency, such as articulating, hearing, viewing, and walking throughout the hospital.

Job Description:
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) serves as the first connection between Intermountain and patients. This role embodies Intermountain values and focuses on establishing collaborative relationships with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction. The PSR ensures a superior customer experience by identifying and resolving patient needs related to patient intake and care, which may include greeting and checking-in/out patients, as well as verifying information supplied by patients.
Essential Functions.
- Provides courteous and professional connections with patients over the phone, in person or via secure messaging. Resolves patient needs skills to ensure a superior customer experience by identifying and resolving patient needs related to patient intake and care.
- Documents all phone calls accurately and completely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Schedules patient appointments for visits, procedures, diagnostic tests, referrals, and/or consultations.
- Registers patients over the phone or in person by confirming, entering, and/or updating all required demographic data on patient and guarantor on the registration system. Follows procedures when identifying patients.
- Obtains copies of insurance cards, forms of ID, and signatures on all required forms. May verify information on appropriate accounts to determine insurance coordination of benefits, may include pre-certification/prior authorization .
- Assists patients in completing necessary forms to meet regulatory and billing needs prior to receiving clinical care. Scans necessary paperwork and educates patient on financial assistance. Proactively requests payments from patients on current and past medical services. Receives and processes those payments following appropriate procedures for handling payments.
- Stays current on role/responsibilities, updates etc. which may include reviewing monthly email/newsletter, ambulatory epic dashboard, patient access, work ques, attend clinic/service line meetings, review emails each shift, etc. to ensure the highest standard of performance is achieved.

Consistently meets established productivity targets for record review.
- Reviews and resolves any clinical issues arising in the pre-bill stage of medical coding to insure the most accurate DRG has been assigned for billing purposes. Works collaboratively with inpatient coding staff to identify any missed opportunities related to clinical documentation. Prompt and professional interactions are used to effectively to resolve any deficiency.
- Collaborates with case managers, nursing staff, quality and analytics and other ancillary staff as needed regarding interactions with physicians on documentation to resolve physician queries prior to patient discharge. Communicates information effectively by responding to questions, concerns and requests promptly. Encourages communication by promoting open dialogue.
- Provides one-on-one education to physicians, mid-level providers and other key healthcare providers regarding the need for accurate, specific and complete clinical documentation in the patient's medical record. Support ICD-10-CM/PCS training for providers by reinforcing coding conventions and guidelines.
- Demonstrates knowledge of documentation requirements and guidelines that recognize DRG payor issues and improves the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation. A Medical Assistant is a professional who works with health care professionals in outpatient and other health care facilities to deliver exceptional quality care. The Medical Assistant Tech will complete a six-month program, including hands-on clinical and administrative skills, classroom learning, independent study, and professional development
A Medical Assistant Tech will be assigned to a Bronson Medical Group practice during the program to obtain hands-on clinical and administrative skills and spend a minimum of two days per week in the classroom setting with educators. To complete the training program, a Medical Assistant Tech will successfully meet program attendance, competency and performance requirements.

6. Demonstrates proactive interpersonal communications skills while dealing with patient concerns through telephone calls, emails and in-person conversations. Optimizes patient flow by using effective customer service/communication skills by communicating to internal and external customers, care team, management, centralized services and HIMS.
7. Assists in responding to requests for patient medical records according to company policies and procedures, and state and federal laws.

This position independently provides and maintains peripheral and central venous access. CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Reviews labs, patient history and physician orders to determine appropriate line to be utilized for the procedure and/or identify potential issues that may arise or preclude the patient from being a viable candidate or require alternate form of vascular access. Collaborates with physicians to determine appropriate long-term access needs. Obtains patient’s authorization to perform the procedure. Inserts peripheral venous and/or arterial catheters to provide access or more complex vascular access as indicated.
2. Inserts and maintains peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) lines according to department policy and procedures to include dressing changes, line reviews and declotting. Utilizes ultrasound technology to ensure accurate insertion of the PICC line. Reviews chest x-rays to ensure accurate placement of the central venous catheter or device. Maintains sterile field throughout the insertion process to ensure quality outcomes. Maintains accurate, timely and appropriate documentation.
3. Inserts and maintains all central lines (simple and complex) in the neck and chest according to department policy and procedures to include dressing changes, line reviews, port access and declotting. Utilizes ultrasound technology, advanced knowledge of anatomy and specialized insertion techniques to ensure accurate and appropriate insertion of the central line. Reviews chest x-rays to ensure accurate placement of the central venous catheter or device. Maintains sterile field throughout the insertion process to ensure quality outcomes. Maintains accurate, timely and appropriate documentation.
4. Participates in ongoing monitoring of quality initiatives, department database, appropriateness and effectiveness of bundle compliance, acts as a change agent and participates in the development, interpretation, implementation and evaluation of quality goals/objective and quality management activities within the clinical service lines. May coordinate oversight of quality and safety standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
5. Acts as a resource to therapists and other healthcare practitioners regarding patient status, equipment and operational issues. Participates in interdisciplinary rounding, making recommendations for changes in therapy dictated by the patient’s condition.
6. Provides training, orientation and patient education to staff, patients and families, in accordance with policy and practice guidelines. Assists in the development of departmental policies and procedures based on best practice.

As an IT Coordinator I, you will provide front-line technical support for staff while ensuring the effective deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop computers, mobile devices, and network-connected equipment. A typical day includes reviewing and prioritizing help desk tickets, responding to equipment requests, conducting rounds to support users, and assisting with ongoing IT projects and testing activities. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, excellent organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications and knowledge of desktop, mobile, and network technologies are required.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is an entry level position that assigns, monitors and fulfills IT service requests in the service management system to ensure high quality customer service. This position leads workflow of customer service requests and is responsible for providing user level support for assigned IT activities.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Provides and enhances customer support for all department services and project management. Ensures appropriate resources are deployed to meet customer business, clinical or technical needs, serves as a liaison between facility staff and information technology, and communicates with customer throughout the lifecycle of the provided service to ensure the customer stays informed.
2. Interacts with customers, support services and vendor partners in managing; assessing, designing, planning and developing detailed specifications for project assignments, attend or facilitates routine meetings; participating in the support of information technology and facility driven projects to ensure proper support and assistance, and assist IT Service Delivery leadership to ensure facility projects include IT budgetary projections.
3. Prioritizes and schedules daily service requests by assigning appropriate technical resource(s), ensures appropriate resources are deployed to meet customer business, clinical or technical needs, and documents all actions of end-user requests using tracking management systems keeping customers informed throughout fulfillment process.
4. Attends routine meetings; participating in the support of major information technology and facility driven projects to ensure proper support and assistance. Identifies and provides solution options to meet or exceed the needs of the customer.
5. Creates vendor quotes from approved vendors. Transitions quote to purchase requisition and obtains appropriate approvals. Enters information using appropriate procurement system and tracks orders to receipt of delivery.
6. Manages procurement of IT services and products and follows all asset management procedure and guidelines. Ensures order and stock management are maintained.
7. Conducts needs assessment and provide recommendations to information technology leadership identifying basic customer, departmental, and/or facility/location software and/or hardware needs.
8. Acts as a technical lead and serves as an escalation point for IT Service Delivery issues and may perform complex troubleshooting and request activities serving as a lead in endpoint related projects and initiatives.
9. Position coordinates and manages the IT Service Delivery functions within a facility, group of facilities, clinics, or service lines as assigned. Latitude to make day-to-day decisions as needed in the support of both internal and external customers. These customers are primarily end-users of computing technology, and other department staff. External customers consist of vendors, contractors, affiliate clinics and hospitals, and clients. Customer support is primarily based at facilities and/or service lines across company.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and education as normally obtained through an Associate’s degree or two years of relevant experience.
Must have a strong work ethic and initiative to work well in a team environment. Requires strong organizational, customer service, communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of staff and management.
Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of a wide range of desktop, mobile devices and network connectivity. Knowledge of Microsoft Office O365 applications.
Variable shifts and hours and carrying/responding to a pager may be required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience with assigning daily workloads and tasks. General knowledge of information technology and healthcare is desirable. Previous experience working on IT projects.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
Estimated Pay Range:
$27.78 - $37.21 / hour

This position plans daily food production for assigned areas and produces all food items based on information obtained from production sheets, café menus, catering requests, and any other approved source.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Prepares all food items according to standardized recipes. Adjusts recipe quantities for correct yields. Notifies supervisor of any problems relating to production.
2. Plans food production timing and quantities in accordance with the daily orders, menu tally sheets and production assignments. In the event of shortage, determines menu substitutions for regular and café menus. Consults with diet tech or dietician for menu substitution needs for special diets.
3. Minimizes food waste with appropriate planning and tracking. Records food shortages and excess quantities in accordance with department procedure.
4. Checks and logs food and equipment temperatures and reports any problems to the supervisor. Reads thermometers and follows safety requirements.
5. Maintains par levels of food and supplies in assigned areas, orders and/or restocks items in accordance with established routines, rotates food stocks, checks freshness dates.
6. Keeps assigned work areas clean and in an orderly manner. Reports all needed equipment repair.
7. May receive and check in deliveries from vendors and in menu planning. May also oversee production quality when needed.
8. Works under general supervision. Provides leadership and knowledge in cooking and food preparation skills to other members of the kitchen staff. Has primarily inter-department responsibility. May deal with external customers in café or catering work assignments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
This position requires the knowledge and abilities in institutional food production normally acquired with two or more years of similar work experience in production cooking, plus a solid understanding of cooking principles, menu substitutions and modified recipes for all commonly prescribed diets. Must have skills and demonstrated abilities in hot food production and the use of all required commercial kitchen equipment. Must be able to learn and follow established policies and procedures, read and understand written and verbal instruction, communicate effectively, perform math calculations regarding recipe weights and amounts plus calculate amounts of food for necessary production. Must be able to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required. Must be able to perform tasks within limited time frames and follow production and cleaning schedules plus use chemicals safely.
For Banner Staffing Services (BSS) team members, the food handlers' card is required within 30 days of hire. For BSS team members in Tucson and Colorado, the food handlers' card is not required.
All onsite food service equipment including stoves, ovens, steam-jacketed kettles, tilt skillet, broiler, steam table, grill, deep fryer, slicer, Buffalo Chopper, mixer, food carts, dish racks, cleaning equipment and hazardous chemicals used in cleaning and sanitation.
Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. An Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed upon hire.
