Where You Will Work:
The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a Level I adult and pediatric trauma center that provides emergency healthcare for all types of injuries and illnesses, from life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks or strokes to flu and viral illnesses. The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist not only one of the first Emergency Medicine training programs in the country but continues to create the future of emergency care through patient care research and resident education. Our team consists of more than 30 board-certified emergency physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, experienced emergency nurses, sexual assault nurse examiners, forensic nurse examiners, social workers, case managers and other specially trained staff. The Adult ED offers diverse assignments such as Super Track, Standard Medical, Trauma Bays, Behavioral Health, and the Clinical Decision Unit. The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Wake Forest Medical Center is not only one of the first Emergency Medicine training programs in the country but continues to create the future of emergency care through patient care research and resident education.Â
Expectations We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS are required within 6 months of hire
What You’ll Do:
• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice.I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.

II. Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1. Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
2. BLS through either American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) is a requirement for every RN within 30 days of hire.
3. ACLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas (Gannett, MP1, ICU, ED, Cath Lab, Endo, IR, PACU, Float Pool) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner.
4. PALS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas (PACU, ED) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner.
5. NRP Advanced Provider through American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) required in select areas (Maternity) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner.
Preferred:
1. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.
Experience/Skills:
Required:
1. Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.

The RN Clinical Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERENCE
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. Advancement eligible based on the Nurse Career Professional Program. Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider status according to American Heart Association. Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works. - Checks in and registers patients; obtains and verifies complete demographic, guarantor, and insurance information; discusses and collects co-pays and other out-of-pocket patient responsibilities. Obtaining accurate information at the point of registration helps ensure timely payment to the organization and prevents billing issues and patient complaints. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensures proper patient identification and maintains patient safety, privacy, confidentiality and follows guidelines under HIPAA.

Clinical massage therapy focuses on specific medical conditions, injuries, and musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Treatment goals areestablishedin consultation with the patient, and often in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, with targeted therapeutic outcomes that aim to restore function, reduce pain, and improve mobility.

$25.30 - $37.95Major Responsibilities:
- Performs assessment of client status and formulates a massage treatment plan in accordance with the client's goals and massage practice standards; ensures assessments reflect synthesis of gathered data into an appropriate plan of care. Recognizes client's inability to attain goals and consults with appropriate personnel.
- Identifies contraindications to massage and takes recommended precautions. Contraindications include phlebitis or thrombophlebitis, edema, skin conditions, mononucleosis, acute rheumatoid arthritis, infection, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, malignancy, insulin-depended diabetes, medications, and acute inflammatory conditions.
- Completes all required documentation within the same business day of the client's visit.
- Performs massage therapy to assigned patients utilizing appropriate methods according to licensure guidelines and professional practice. Incorporates appropriate type of relaxation massage into sessions (i.e., neuromuscular, craniosacral, lymph, reflexology) to meet the needs of patient's history and goals.
- Tailors education to meet the age-specific and individualized needs of the client. Takes an active role in program development and contributes ideas for the development of promotional materials and community education.
- Prepares treatment area before patient arrival; prepares equipment, sets environmental lighting and music to create relaxing atmosphere. Provides an environment consistent with accepted standards of sanitation, hygiene, safety, and Universal Precautions. Responsible for cleanup after treatment, which includes sanitizing equipment and maintaining neat, orderly workstations.
- Acknowledges confidential nature of the professional relationship with a client and respects each client's right to privacy. Seeks out methods to meet privacy needs by providing adequate draping, etc.
- Upon delegation, when assigned to an outside clinic, assists with general cleaning, ordering and dispensing of clean linen, and miscellaneous clerical duties.

- Develops, evaluates, coordinates and/or provides educational programs and/or materials related to ostomy and wound care management to meet the interests and needs of patients, family, staff, physicians, and the community.Â
- Coordinates and provides care along the continuum with appropriate disciplines to establish and provide quality patient care.Â
- Performs ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and documentation of patient care provision in response to ostomy care and modalities of wound care management therapy and recommends change to treatment protocols as needed.Â
- Coordinates development and revision of policies and protocols as related to ostomy and wound care management in collaboration with nursing and other disciplines and medical staff based on evidence-based practices.Â
- Serves as a consultant providing expert knowledge related to ostomy and wound care management support to physician, staff, patients, families, and instructors and students of nursing and allied health programs.Â
- Tracks and supports outcomes to improve the quality of care along the continuum.Â
- Evaluates and appropriately incorporates evidence-based findings in wound, ostomy, and continence care into clinical practice.Â
- Plans, implements, evaluates and provides direct patient care plans based on the individual patient and family needs, situational and procedural complexities.Â
- Consults with appropriate members of the healthcare team as indicated.Â
- Sets priorities in planning and organizing patient wound and ostomy care.Â
- Attends a minimum of 12 contact hours of education annually.Â
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

Job Summary
Behavioral Health Services (BHS) is made up of a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Mental Health Professionals, Medical Assistants, and Administrative Staff. These professionals work together to provide a gold standard of care regarding effective treatment to support Memorial Hermann patients in an effort to connect the patient to the most appropriate level of care. Our goal is to increase access to behavioral health treatment services, promote better health outcomes for patients with chronic or urgent mental health treatment needs by utilizing empirically validated interventions, decrease unnecessary ER visits, and decrease incarcerations.This role will function as the lead clinician by coordinating the day to day functioning of the BHS Case Management Team. Responsibilities include collaborating with Behavioral Health Services leadership, the hospital treatment team, patients & their families to maintain focus on safety and high levels of customer service. Typically reports into the Director of Behavioral Health.
The Lead Behavioral Health Clinician will serve as the liaison between the behavioral health team, courts, law enforcement and other community partners to ensure timely and accurate coordination of involuntary admissions and court-related requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:  Masters Degree in Social Work and licensure as a clinician; or Master’s degree in counseling or related field
Licenses/Certifications:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),orÂ
License Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S), or
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or

Six (6) years psychiatric/healthcare field experience preferred, Internships considered.

Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to enhance & maintain positive relations with senior management, physicians, outside agencies/organizations, and staff across all disciplines.

Knowledge of interviewing, assessment, organizational and problem solving skills.
Strong analytical and PC skills.Â
Demonstrate the ability to connect the healthcare teams, patients, and families with necessary services, both inside and outside the MHHS network.Â
Maintain clinician annual core competencies in: HIPAA/Privacy, Cultural Competence, Information Security Awareness, Domestic Violence, Levels of Care, Medications, Substance Use, DSM, Suicide/Homicide Assessments, and Psychiatric Emergencies.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for coordinating the day to day functioning of the Behavioral Health Team in the following ways:
Review Secure Report for hospital enrollments.
Assign new referrals to Hospital Base Clinicians, Case Managers, and Providers.
Track patients progress through the transitions of care, both acute and ambulatory.
Administer status updates to the team regularly.
Advise/assist clinicians in the field, as needed.
Maintain data within BHS.
Demonstrate consistent professionalism and an ability to work effectively & efficiently in a fast paced, stressful environment.
Provide training and education as needed to the Behavioral Health team regarding process updates.
Collaborates with BHS leadership, the hospital treatment team, patients & their families, and outside agencies/facilities, as indicated, to maintain focus on safety and high levels of customer service.
Participate in patient care as dictated by volumes, including assisting in working on managing a small caseload, completing bedside counseling encounters, and/or performing BHS consults.
Ability to apply theory into the practice by identifying appropriate resources on assigned cases, working collaboratively with patients, families, multi-disciplinary teams and community agencies, and seek consultation/supervision from clinical leaders and providers on complex psychiatric and/or medical cases.
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as a resource to less experienced staff.
