Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.
Essential Functions
- Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status (including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as appropriate). Seeks and evaluates information acquired from other members of interdisciplinary team: patient, family, physician, non-nursing disciplines, support staff, others.
- Plan: Uses assessment information and critical thinking skills to collaboratively develop individualized plan of care. Actively seeks patient, family, team, and physician involvement to develop plan of care including needed education. Collaboratively plans and prepares patients for further support needs once the current episode of care outcomes are met (i.e., teaching, referrals, and follow-up).
- Implement: Directs the interdisciplinary care team via delegation, coordination, and collaboration as appropriate. Provides or delegates care consistent with plan of care, guidelines of care and professional licensure provisions. Demonstrates the ability to set priorities and to coordinate and organize patient care delivery through effectively managing time, supplies, and resources.
- Evaluate: Evaluates patient response to interventions through review of achievement of goals, clinical outcomes, patient, and family satisfaction. Revises plan of care as indicated and reassesses changes as appropriate.
- Professionalism: Promotes nursing profession and participate in development of others. Integrates legal and ethical standards into practice, complies with regulatory standards, practices within scope of licensure, provides accurate & timely documentation, and understands legal implications of care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
- For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

Scope

Quality, Safety, Clinical Excellence, and Medical Staff Partnership
- Oversee and advance quality, safety, stewardship, and patient experience for hospital gynecologic care provided by physicians and APPs with privileges at St. George Regional Hospital.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing review of quality dashboards, departmental key performance indicators, key process indicators, and patient outcome measures for hospital gynecologic services.
- Monitor and drive key performance outcomes; review results with appropriate hospital, department, nursing, operations, surgical services, quality, and medical staff leaders; and identify opportunities to improve care.
- Lead or support process improvement efforts and clinical program development directed toward achievement of hospital gynecologic quality, safety, utilization, stewardship, patient experience, and strategic goals.
- Participate in peer review, HEAT reviews, root cause analyses, rapid event investigations, case reviews, and other established quality and patient safety processes involving gynecologic care; communicate lessons learned and support resulting clinical or protocol improvements.
- Address clinical quality, safety, professionalism, or performance concerns through appropriate hospital medical staff, including the Department Chair and Medical Executive Committee, and quality structures. The Medical Director will not make employment decisions and will coordinate employment-related follow-up with the clinician’s employer when appropriate.
- Support the OB/GYN Department Chair as requested in development and periodic review of credentialing and privileging criteria for hospital gynecologic services, including advanced surgical techniques and gynecologic subspecialty practice, through authorized medical staff processes.
- Lead or support efforts to reduce unwarranted variation in hospital gynecologic care, surgical practice, equipment, supplies, medications, and protocols while preserving sound clinical judgment and appropriate patient-specific care.

Job Description:
The Senior Data Governance Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing processes related to metadata management, reference data management and data quality monitoring. This position is expected to have hands-on experience with the technical solution selected for the Data Governance program and good understanding of Data Governance principles and processes.
This role will directly report to the Data Governance Manager, performing analysis on a variety of routine to moderately complex projects under general supervision and typically leading moderately complex initiatives or projects.

Job Responsibilities:

- Analyze and resolve ambiguous or conflicting business terminology by facilitating discussions with stakeholders to establish precise, consistent, and reusable business definitions.

- Partner with business owners, stewards, architects, and engineering teams to align conceptual models with logical and physical data models while preserving business intent and meaning.
- Establish and maintain enterprise business glossaries, ontologies, taxonomies, and reference-data structures that promote consistency across systems and domains.
- Identify authoritative sources, ownership boundaries, survivorship rules, and semantic relationships for critical business data assets.
- Conduct domain discovery and business architecture analysis to understand business processes, capabilities, lifecycles, decision points, and information requirements.
- Support master data management initiatives by defining business concepts, relationships, and governance requirements that guide MDM design and implementation.
- Define semantic requirements for AI, knowledge-graph, semantic-layer, and agent-enabled solutions, ensuring that enterprise meaning can be consumed consistently by both humans and AI systems.
- Develop modeling standards, governance practices, and documentation to ensure semantic assets are governed, reusable, auditable, and maintained over time.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Experience in performing key Data Governance work such as data cataloging, data lineage, data classification, reference data management, and business glossary management
- Experience with system and data integration via API
- Experience with major Electronic Health Record (EHR) vended solutions and deep understanding of the backend data architecture and data modeling
- Advanced SQL skills and proficient knowledge about database design, ETL processes and data mapping
- Experience with data quality monitoring data quality improvement
- Experience as a “team player” and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across and at all levels within the organization
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in IT or analytics related fields. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education or experience is verified
- Experience in an analyst or engineer role working with data governance technologies and processes

What You'll Do
Performs primary care consistent with APRN’s specialized knowledge, judgment, skill, training and education without medical supervision or delegation as authorized by the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. APRN will enter into and maintain a collaborative practice agreement with a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Missouri. Under such agreement, the physician delegates to the APRN authority to deliver health care services and treatments, and to administer, dispense and prescribe drugs which are specific to those clinical conditions he/she is authorized to treat.
