$25.30 - $37.95Essential Functions
- Appropriately and effectively intervenes when unruly, abusive, combative, threatening, or armed persons are encountered.
- Apprehend and arrest individuals for criminal activity.
- Complete investigations of any criminal activity occurring within assigned jurisdiction, make arrests, and process criminal defendants as per applicable state criminal proceedings.
- Respond to routine and emergency calls for assistance. Complete uniform incident reports and other assigned documentation.
- Assist teammates with and serve as subject matter expert in criminal process.
- Communicate in a calm, factual, objective, and courteous manner with all persons with whom communication or collaboration are necessary. Coordinates and communicates with community police agencies as appropriate.
- Provide armed response to any imminent situation that threatens the life or safety of anyone on Advocate Health property.
- Prepare criminal cases for court proceedings, attend court, and testify in criminal proceedings.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to hear clearly and communicate clearly with others
- Ability to run, and exert intense physical effort in moving, controlling, or restraining combative subjects
- Possess close and intermediate visual acuity
- Spends majority of time standing or walking with a reasonable amount of bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching

Education, Experience and Certifications
- License/Registration/Certification: General Law Enforcement Certification
- Issued by (Governing Body): applicable state Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards (or ability to transfer laterally)
- Level of Education: Basic Law Enforcement Training
- Field of Study (if applicable): Criminal Justice
- Years of Experience: 2 (preferred)
- Describe Type Experience: General law enforcement or public safety experience (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and respond calmly in complex, stressful situations
- Knowledge of and ability to apply federal, state and local criminal statutes and case law
- Knowledge of criminal process
- Demonstrate proficiency with a firearm to meet Advocate Health and applicable state standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable state General Law Enforcement Certification
- Ability to perform under stressful, emergency conditions
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to pass rigorous background check, polygraph and/or psychological testing
- Ability to pass Advocate Health mandated Taser, CPI, and self-defense training

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $88,691.20 - $127,649.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. $21.85 - $32.80Major Responsibilities:- Coordinates staffing for all units based on projected needs as identified by department leadership. Services various departments. Verifies staffing needs, arranges appropriate coverage through available resources and reports status of staffing events to leadership.
- Maintains accurate records of staffing allocations for purposes of communication, data collection and billing of services. May maintain agency personnel records including: hours worked, licenses, orientation, evaluations, etc. May verify billing from staffing agencies and perform data entry for generation of accounting cost management reports.
- Processes scheduling data and completes related records for payroll. Maintains accurate records relating to schedules, time cards, attendance records, competencies, etc.
- Handles a variety of scheduling situations including ensuring the even rotation of staff and the placement of staff throughout the designated facilities to meet their FTE status during low census.
- Performs various reception duties including: answering telephone calls, directing and/or transferring calls to appropriate staff, taking and relaying messages as necessary and supporting effective guest relations by greeting/directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Maintains and updates department files, binders, logs, etc.
- Gathers, compiles, analyzes and summarizes department data for various reports and meetings.
- Monitors department office equipment and troubleshoots minor problems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Project Oversight: Manage the daily operations of assigned clinical trials, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to timelines while maintaining compliance with clinical trial regulations. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside three Cardiothoracic Surgeons and a collaborative team of advanced practice providers while practicing at the top of your license in a comprehensive surgical role.
From first assisting in complex cardiac and thoracic procedures to managing patients across the ICU, telemetry units, clinic, and postoperative settings, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding surgical outcomes and patient experiences.
Clinical Practice Details
- You would practice at our CT Surgery clinic and Intermountain Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO
- Rotating schedule with 4 total PAs, including 24-hour call coverage and weekend rounding
- Occasional call and rounding at St. Joseph Hospital, a sister facility in Denver
- First assist in cardiac/thoracic surgeries; minimal vascular case load including dialysis access
- On average, one case per day
- MUSThave proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting
- Place foley catheters and invasive lines
- Team responsibilities include ICU/ telemetry rounding, discharges and first assist coverage for all cases
- Clinic coverage for post-op patients
What you’ll bring

- Licensed as PA or NP in the state of CO or able to obtain

- Minimum of 1 year experience with proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting for bypass procedures

Compensation:
- Our compensation consists of a base salary plus call pay (Q4 call). The salary is calculated on years of experience and can range from $140,000 - $193,000.
- Additionally, we are offering a $25,000 sign on bonus as well as relocation, if applicable (up to $7500).
- You would also receive up to $4,000annually to take CME plus an additional 5 days of time over PTO.

Job Description:
The Nursing Graduate works under the direct line-of-sight supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) in the clinical setting and participates appropriately in the patient care delivery process. The incumbent also orients to the RN assignment, excluding independent nursing care. This position may participate in medication administration under the direction and supervision of the licensed RN.
The Nursing Graduate job can be utilized for up to 12 weeks while employees are in the Intermountain Nurse Residency program and are working toward preparing, testing, and passing the State Boards examination (obtaining an RN license). After that 12-week period, or if the Nursing Graduate fails the State Board exam a second time, the employee can no longer remain in the Nurse Graduate job. These employees can apply for any open jobs they qualify for, including jobs requiring a certification the employee currently holds (i.e., CNA, etc.). Failure to either pass boards or to be hired into another job will result in termination.
Registered Nurse graduates must be enrolled and have started coursework in the Intermountain Nurse Residency program before providing direct patient care (including direct patient care supervised by a licensed RN).

Essential Functions
