This position utilizes all knowledge and experience to lead the entire planning and design process, project delivery planning, bidding and selection, construction execution, medical equipment planning, owner furnished equipment planning, procurement activities, and coordination of all project logistics.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience in a healthcare system, an academic medical center/health care facility, and public sector and/or university experience.
2. Experience with building systems, design, construction techniques, bidding and negotiating contracts and/or fee proposals.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. They are not intended to be constructed as an all-inclusive list of all responsibilities and duties. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Utilizes all knowledge and experience to lead the entire planning and design process, project delivery planning, bidding and selection, construction execution, medical equipment planning and procurement, owner furnished equipment planning and procurement, and coordination of all project logistics. Project sizes up to $10 million with construction teams up to 25 people.
2. Mentors and supervises PDC Trades Teams throughout the duration of their projects.
3. Develops clear and concise estimates for renovations and improvement requests, including accurate work scope descriptions and accurate estimates of cost; includes recommendations for alternate means of problem solution; with monitoring by Manager of Planning, Design & Construction and Project Managers.
4. Develops and leads communication plan for projects to ensure full transparency and understanding of the project by leaders, user departments, stakeholders, patients, and visitors.
5. Prepares and develops detailed project schedules and work scopes for new construction and renovation projects as assigned for customer/stakeholder approval.
6. Reviews bids and negotiates fee proposals of consultants and coordinates activities of architects, consultants, contractors, and others.
7. Represents WVU Medicine as the reviewer of professional service billings to ensure requests align with work performed.
8.Prepares and provides project status reports and project schedules for stakeholders and senior leadership.
9. Provides recommendations on project costs analysis and alternatives to deliver projects on time and on budget.
10. Acts as a consultant to leadership in determining the best construction delivery method for each project. Reviews project delivery outcome and keeps detailed historical records of lessons learned.
11. Skillfully navigates the wide array of tasks and responsibilities required to successfully deliver projects while providing the highest level of customer service.
12. Leads approval process for all user groups and well communicates the scope of work and cost implications of project intricacies. Leads change management initiatives with the user group to keep project on time and within budget, utilizing LEAN processes.
13. Responsible for project compliance during design, construction, and closeout for any and all regulatory agencies having jurisdiction including, but not limited to, Joint Commission, CMS, West Virginia State Fire Marshall, and OHFLAC.
14. Manages and reviews for accuracy all project files and documents throughout the course of a project and during project achieve. Project files and documents include contracts, drawings, addendums, bulletins, specifications, submittals, installation and operations manuals, as-built documentation, and other related project files.
15. Manages all approvals and signoffs of sample materials, mockups, floor plans, etc by department stakeholders for each project and reviews for compliance of all WVU Medicine brand standards.
16. Leads all applicable user groups through project design, bid selection, construction, move in, and go-live in an efficient, safe, considerate manner focusing on positive outcomes for employees and patients.
17. Directs all reviews of plans, specifications, drawings, and other project documents with stakeholders, vendors, and design teams to ensure proper installation and operation of any and all equipment and/or systems.
18. Directs, supervises, monitors, and coordinates different tradespersons and contractors by daily visiting their assigned projects, in the completion of their assigned construction work towards the timely and cost–effective completion of all assigned projects.
19. Responsible for directing all expenses regarding equipment, owner furnished equipment, construction, design, change orders, project scope changes, and other capital expenses, ensuring the project remains at or below budget.
20. Review and/or approve shop drawings, change directives (field work orders), request for information, and change orders as necessary.
21. Manages change order log. Tracks all project expenses constantly. Maintains all budget vs expense documentation and project schedule.
22. Manages the activities of contractors, vendors, and WVU Medicine personnel to follow all facility procedures. Communicates the varies activities to leadership and employees as necessary to avoid impacts to daily operations.
23. Leads collaboration of all applicable hospital stakeholders and coordinates necessary interruption of services with Operations, hospital utilities, energy partners, and other stakeholders.
24. Alerts appropriate leadership staff of any and all unforeseen conditions and issues found to minimize impacts to project schedules and budgets.
25. Transitions projects to health system departments at occupancy. Closes out projects at completion, ensuring all final invoices and contractual commitments have been processed.
26. Performs all above duties with dedication to the highest level of customer service for all care team members and patients.
27. Assembles and submits for processing quotations, requisitions, and other contract data for projects.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1. Thorough knowledge of standard construction industry work practices and procedures.

3. Knowledge of applicable codes and regulatory requirements such as OSHA, OBC, NFPA, JCAHO, ADA, HIPAA. Understanding of the LEED rating system.
4. Technical knowledge of design and construction in order to effectively maintain record documentation.
5. Ability to professionally interact on a daily basis with individuals on all organization’s levels.
6. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of customers and management levels. Proven organizational and problem-solving skills.
7. Highly proficient in construction software platforms including, but not limited to, Autodesk Suite of Products, Bluebeam, E-Builder or equivalent, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with CADD, Revit, BIM, or other computer drafting programs.

Job Description:
The Ultrasound Tech provides excellent customer service by performing ultrasound examinations under the direction of a physician for identification of abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis.
We are seeking a sonographer who is confident performing OBGYN examinations and thrives in a collaborative clinic environment. This individual will work closely with physicians, certified nurse midwives, and nursing staff in a busy, patient-focused practice.
Job Details
- Shift: Wednesdays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Location: Central Orem Clinic, Orem OBGYN & Nurse Midwives
- Additional Details: Opportunity to pick up additional shifts based on department needs. Monday through Friday schedule with no call, weekends, or holidays.
Essential Functions
- Maintains American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
- Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
- Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
- Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
- Assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
- Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns.
- Practices appropriate infection control and sterile techniques.
- Understands and operates equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
- Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions.

Qualifications
- Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) - Successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, pediatric, and vascular)

Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)

- 5)Follows correct CT Department Technologist workflow (Start exam in radnet, select correct scan room and technologist, scan patient, send images to PACs, scan all paperwork and data sheets (eg. lab results/med-reconciliation sheets), complete the case in RADNET, charge for contrast media, Verify that all images, series and data sheets have been sent to PACs- make sure the number of images is correct.- Verify 0 image exams, verify exams with images and archive images on scanner and optical disc
- 6)Operates support equipment for CT such as: Independent workstation, pressure injector, PACs and RADNET
- 7)Initiates IV for administration of contrast media for CT in accordance with department policy and utilizing standard precautions - Is IV certified within 3 months of hire. Ability to recognize adverse reactions to radiologic contrast materials.
- 8)Prepares patient for exams by explaining procedure and by encouraging questions and answering any questions the patient may have
- 9)Transports patients to and from departments when necessary. Assist in transfer of patients on and off the CT table. Continually monitors patient condition during CT procedure.
- 10)Works with radiologist in the tailoring of protocols to meet patient exam requirements.
- Accountable for obtaining pertinent patient history to provide the radiologist with adequate information for exam interpretation and to ensure procedural criteria is met.
- 1)Obtains and documents, confidential history (eg. lab values - BUN/Creatinine/GFR, allergy screening, surgical and dialysis history, etc), from patient, chart or family member, to ensure the appropriateness of the exam as well as administration of contrast media
- 2)Recognizes contraindications for IV and oral contrast per patient history, diagnosis, or protocols.
- Accountable for documentation of all patient information on appropriate forms for department records related to preservation of patient records, patient statistics, billing information and supplies

3 Assists in setting up the OR with supplies, instruments and other equipment. Arranges supplies and
instruments for efficient use during the surgical procedures. Differentiates sterilization methods for special
equipment and instruments necessary for specific surgical procedures as required. Anticipates future supply
and instrument needs of following room procedures to reduce room turnover between cases.
4 Assists with moving and positioning of patients pre-op, intra-op and post-operatively.
5 Anticipates the needs of the surgeon when passing instruments, sponges, sutures, etc., during the surgical
procedure. Also, anticipates the needs of the surgical team and assists efficiently within the sterile field as
directed by the surgeon.
6 Maintains an accurate count of sponges, needles and instruments and is jointly responsible with the RN
circulator for ensuring counts are complete prior to the procedure and before the incision is closed.
7 Identifies and gives the specimen to the circulating RN as directed by the surgeon.
8 Participates, on a consistent basis, in the orientation and education of all operating room staff including entry
level Surgical Technologists and Surgical Technologist Students.

Position Purpose
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) provides service to the medical staff and hospital leadership for the Market in order to assist them in fulfilling their mission, plans and objectives which includes their responsibilities to the patient and the community for the provision of quality and cost-effective care. This position has impact on the quality and financial outcomes of clinical and operational departments throughout the Market.
In all roles and activities, it is anticipated that the CMO will network and build consensus, collaborate, and problem solve. This position will play a key role in the implementation of strategic and operating plans as well as service line development, in particular the strategies for physician relationships and service line development. These activities and initiatives shall be accomplished through the existing and revised formal medical staff structures/committees, Medical Group/Health Network and voluntary medical staff multi-facility physician task forces, committees as well as the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) and Executive Team meetings and informative relationships.
As a Chief Medical Officer, you will:
Provides an effective bridge between Market management staff and facilities medical staffs to create superior relationships with physicians and to secure physician input into major decisions.
Directly responsible to the CCO for centralized medical staff functions such as medical staff development plan and recruitment, and to the Market President and other members of the Executive Team for medical directorships and all physician relationship activities.
Supports the formal medical staff function at all facilities.
May chair committees as is appropriate. Works closely with the Market President and Medical Staff President.
Holds self out as a resource in dealing with difficult medical staff decisions.
Assists in the development and implementation of the physician Continuous Quality Improvement process throughout the Market, provides for the functioning and effectiveness of quality improvement systems to include internal and external operating systems that affect the delivery of physician care within the Market.
Sets a universal standard for the delivery of patient care. Is the leader in the setting of goals and improvement plans for all Trinity Health quality standards.
Participates and assists in the development of plans and implementation in all service line and patient care competency development.
Promotes all programs and services to referring physicians.
Educates physicians and office personnel on all aspects of the Market. Is a resource and problem solver when service issues arise.
Works with the President of the facility medical staff to provide leadership development opportunities, set goals and objectives for development of key medical staff for the Marke and is a role model for changing behavior and creating opportunities for better understanding by medical leadership of business and strategic operations of the Market.
Works directly with the CCO at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic in bridging the clinical arena of the Market to the development of Trinity Health standards of performance and Trinity Health policy.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited medical school (MD or DO is required) and completed an accredited residency program in a medical specialty.
Board certification in field of specialty and agree to maintain such Board Certification through tenure of employment.
Board certification is required in an ABMS Board.
Graduate from an accredited university with a Master's in Business Administration, a Masters in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
Ability to work in a complex matrix reporting environment.
Proven leader with minimum of 15 years in clinical practice and 5 years executive leadership.

- Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated using approved process for accurate specimen labeling and identification. Maintains competency as required. Under direction of RN and as determined by site/unit requirements, may be required to remove IVs, provide post mortem care and perform bladder scans.
- Practices within policies and procedures of infection prevention by demonstrating hand hygiene and knowledge of sterile and aseptic procedures, proper disposal of contaminated materials and utilizing proper attire when in direct contact with patients in isolation.
- Coordinates tests and treatments with and between various departments for patients on nursing units. Maintains a working knowledge of functions and services offered by all diagnostic and treatment departments to facilitate the scheduling of tests and treatments. Maintains working knowledge of EHR system and other computer systems for ordering patient and unit supplies and equipment. Processes daily patient charges and/or related procedures through the system.
- Facilitates communications required to support patient care, including the multiple-line telephone, unit/site paging and the hospital information system. Screens incoming telephone calls. Monitors department office equipment and troubleshoots minor problems. Arranges repair of major malfunctions.
- Compiles necessary chart forms for admissions, transfers, discharges and expirations. Obtains appropriate copies of medical records for transfers to nursing homes and other health care facilities. Verifies medical records contain complete and accurate patient demographic information, patient identification and registration in the medical record, including appropriate level of care.
- Establishes and maintains positive customer relations and contributes to a harmonious work environment. Quickly and courteously acknowledges requests, responds to call lights, demonstrates proper phone etiquette and fosters communication between the health care team.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days, and
- Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices.
Education Required:
- Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or
- High School Graduate.
Experience Required:
- Prior CNA and / or HUC experience is preferred

The Clinic Lab Assistant performs phlebotomy and laboratory support services in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include greeting patients, verifying orders, collecting and processing specimens, and preparing lab orders and reports. This role ensures quality and accuracy in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational mission, values, and performance expectations.
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Performs phlebotomy procedures (venipuncture and capillary) and collects other specimens following proper protocols.
Prepares, labels, and processes specimens, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory and infection control guidelines (e.g., CLIA, COLA, OSHA).
Conducts waived lab testing; reports and documents the result in the electronic health record, including critical values. Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots lab equipment; performs and documents quality control and proficiency testing.
Verifies lab orders and medical necessities; completes ABNs and corrects billing codes as needed. Accurately enters and manages data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR); reviews and corrects billing reports.
Maintains supply inventory; stocks areas appropriately and communicates needs to supervisor.
Provides patient-centered service by communicating test procedures, results, and follow-up instructions clearly and compassionately.
Assists with clerical duties including faxing, copying, filing, scheduling, and answering phone calls.
Supports cross-coverage needs, within scope, throughout clinic/lab areas.
Serves as a resource for colleagues and patients.
