We offer a full aging service network with life plan communities, health care and home- and community-based services for older adults, as well as community outreach to those in need, that is unrivaled in the beautiful Sandhills region of North Carolina.
St. Joseph of the Pines is currently seeking a full-time Landscaping Specialist to join our Plant Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Environmental Services, the Landscaping Specialist will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the St. Joseph of the Pines campus grounds.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for safe, efficient and quality completion of tasks.
- Must be able to schedule work crews, planning daily work activities and monitor the work being done.
- Able to operate landscape maintenance and construction equipment with the skill to perform the duties assigned.
- Able to work in and around various landscaping settings including direct contact with various landscaping materials and plants.
- Meeting with residents or management to develop and refine plans for the project which may include ornamental, ground cover and landscaping structures.
- Learn techniques and apply practices to complete projects related to landscape maintenance, landscape plant installations, hardscapes, and irrigation.
- Understand and practice safety in all work circumstances.
- Must be a team player and communicate effectively at all times.
- Follow and abide by all SJP safety rules and policies.
- Ability to complete production work in a timely fashion.
- Must be courteous and friendly if approached by property owners.
- Provide training for workers, especially on safety procedures when large equipment or hazardous materials are involved.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; or 2 to 3 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
- Experience in fertilization, insect control, and turf/plant disease treatment.
- Pesticide Applicator License or attainment within 6 months of employment.
- Must be knowledgeable of turf, plants and flowers in the Sandhills region of North Carolina.
- Experience using a variety of mowers and other hand and power tools.
- Experience pruning shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth.
- Possess professionalism – assuring customer service, respect & satisfaction
- Must have strong sense for the safety of themselves and those around them.

What You'll Do
Provide operational and clinical leadership for all Maternity Services departments.
Lead, mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff, charge nurses, and clinical leaders.
Drive quality, safety, patient experience, and colleague engagement outcomes.
Manage staffing plans, scheduling, productivity, and departmental budgets.
Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning activities.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Lead departmental initiatives related to growth, operational excellence, and strategic goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery required.
Demonstrated knowledge of maternal-child health nursing practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related healthcare field preferred.
Previous nurse management or leadership experience preferred.
Experience managing Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, NICU, and/or Women's Services departments preferred.
National specialty certification (RNC-OB, NCC, NE-BC, NEA-BC, or similar) preferred.
Experience leading quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives preferred.
Compensation
$50.49 - $78.29/hour (base salary equivalent)
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Position Purpose:
The Occupational Therapist will independently assume responsibility and accountability for the evaluation, assessment, and creation of a plan of care for patients assigned to their care. The occupational therapist is responsible for and will collaborate with occupational therapist assistants with whom they delegate patient care.
What the Occupational Therapist ( OT ) Will Do:
Independently evaluate the functional abilities/disabilities of the client including the ability to perform activities of daily living, mobility, range of motion, strength, coordination, or other functional limitations. This individual will establish a functional baseline and plan of care to be used to demonstrate progress through therapeutic intervention.
Accountable for the application of a written treatment plan and administers treatment for each patient according to the stated goals.
Re-evaluates patient's status and effects of treatment when warranted. Reviews goals with patient and family as appropriate during plan of care.
Colleagues will help to train patients and their family in the use of medical equipment and make recommendations for appropriate equipment as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of a Master's or previously equivalent educational program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
Required: Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Occupational Therapy.
State of Michigan Occupational Therapist License or eligible to obtain licensure prior to hire.
American Heart Association BLS or equivalent

The Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) Nurse Home Visitor is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services to women and their families eligible for the NFP Program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Provides home visits to women and their families eligible for the NFP Program

Administrative:

Position Summary
The Licensed Mental Health Professional is a key role within the behavioral health department of MultiCare, responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy for patients. - You will provide psychotherapy, supportive therapy, i.e. problem solving, role-playing, modeling and support, social skill development, and assertiveness training to increase patient social and interpersonal activities in community settings
- You will document all encounters inpatient electronic health record according to organization policies and procedures; monitor outcome measurements
- You will collaborate with referral sources and other members of the patient's clinical team
- You will provide ongoing measurement of the individual in service outcomes and evaluation of intervention effectiveness

1. Responsible for reading physicians’ orders, preparing medications, delivering medications, and ordering and delivering drug supplies for various patient‑care units.
2. Reads physician's orders and prepares medication for dispensing, including unique dosage forms for all patient populations.
3. Has an understanding of standard pharmaceutical/medical terms, abbreviations and symbols commonly used in the prescribing and dispensing of medications.
4. Interprets lists and uses this information to replenish patient's medications and delivers contents to patient care areas according to schedule.
5. Accurately prepares and delivers controlled substances to patients and maintains all necessary records.
6. Takes inventory and analyzes medication supplies, replacing outdated or deteriorated medications; replaces depleted inventory.
7. Labels products appropriately.
8. Performs arithmetic calculations for usual dosage determinations required in medication and solution preparation.
9. Performs initial check for prescribed doses for appropriateness based on weight and age.
10. Performs in accordance with departmental standards established for speed and accuracy.
11. Prepares and labels prepackaged medications after determining usage patterns and prepackaging requirements. Also maintains records related to this.
12. Maintains inventory and supplies in assigned pharmacy service areas.
13. Answers telephone and channels calls to appropriate individual.
14. Ensures that the pharmacy service areas and drug storage areas in the institution are kept clean and orderly.
15. Assists in the training of pharmacy technicians.
16. Certain duties cannot be assigned to Pharmacy Technicians because these duties can only be performed by Pharmacists. These restrictions are regulated at state and federal levels and must be followed closely according to state board of pharmacy regulations where the Pharmacy Technician practices.
17. Assists with sterile preparation of IV room medications and general maintenance and cleaning of IV room.
18. Accurately prepares intravenous admixtures, including dilutions for pediatric patients, other injectable preparations, and sterile irrigating solutions using aseptic technique.
19. Accurately enters information related to parenteral admixtures and other injectable products in Pharmacy IV Computer Systems.
20. Manages controlled substances for the health-system.

• Manages the work flow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments.
• Identifies each patient, reviews orders for consistency (examination ordered/clinical diagnosis) and records pertinent data in RIS/PACS at all times.
• Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, presents completed examination to Radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists are responsible for the use of radiofrequencies within a magnetic field for diagnostic, therapeutic or research purposes. MRI technologists performs magnetic resonance imaging and acquire and analyzes data needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
Magnetic resonance technologists independently perform or assist the licensed practitioner in the completion of magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Magnetic resonance technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to medications in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policy.
Job Duties:
- Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and appropriately documented while respecting confidentiality.
- Utilizes appropriate imaging protocol and optimizes technical factors while maximizing patient safety, optimizing patient care, and applying principles of ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable).
- Preparing and/or administering, as applicable, medications through new or existing vascular access site as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Evaluates images for proper positioning and acceptable technical quality and verifies archival storage and/or transfer of data, post processing of data if applicable.
- Educating and monitoring students and other health care providers.
- Applying principles of magnetic resonance safety to minimize risk to patient, self, and others.

The cardiac service line includes:
Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU)
A 23-bed intensive care unit caring for newborns through adolescents with congenital and acquired heart disease. Patients include those recovering from complex cardiac surgery, heart transplantation, and other advanced cardiac interventions.
Pediatric Cardiology Inpatient Unit
A step-down and acute care unit supporting patients from ICU transition through discharge, with a focus on rehabilitation, education, care coordination, and family-centered recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with cardiac, developmental, neurological, orthopedic, post-surgical, and medically complex diagnoses
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to improve mobility, function, and developmental outcomes
Provide acute care physical therapy interventions that support recovery and safe progression of activity
Educate patients, families, and caregivers to promote successful transitions of care
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, speech-language pathologists, child life specialists, social workers, and care managers

2. Responsible for the accurate entry in the automated scheduling system: Enters all new hires into the Controller. and Scheduler. Updates monthly and daily schedules, manages and prints daily staffing sheets, sign-in sheets. Posts staffing needs lists.
3. Compiles daily staffing information and discusses with the appropriate manager or director.
4. Participates in daily Patient Flow bed meeting “huddles”.
5. Makes calls to fill staffing needs. Validates constant observation needs and communicates with charge nurses any changes in staffing needs.
6. Identifies overtime staffing and participates in reduction of expenses.

Department-specific competencies, including age-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.

Position Summary
The Mental Health Therapist is a vital role at MultiCare, responsible for the delivery of clinical counseling and case management services. From patient advocacy to therapeutic interventions, this position will offer you dynamic engagements in your daily work functions.
Responsibilities:
- You will provide person-centered counseling, advocacy and case management for patients
- You will develop treatment plans which clearly identify the patient’s voice, treatment strategies, and specific outcome measures
- You will meet agency documentation standards
- You will meet authorization requirements of contracts
- You will strategically tailor effective clinical/case management services to meet diverse patient needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Washington State Counselor Agency Affiliated Registered (ACCR) credential must be applied for within thirty (30) days of hire. Employees may work while the application is pending for up to one hundred twenty (120) days, unless a higher credential is already held: Counselor Agency Affiliated Certified, Counselor Agency Affiliated Licensed, Mental Health Counselor Assoc (LMHCA), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage & Family Therap Assoc (LMFTA), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), SW Associate Advanced License (LSWAA), SW Advanced Lic (LASW), SW Assoc Independent Clinical Lic (LSWAIC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW)
- Previous experience providing mental health counseling services preferred
- Driving is an essential function of this position. The incumbent will routinely travel between clinic, community, patient, and business locations in the performance of assigned duties and may be required to operate a personal vehicle and/or agency-owned vehicle. A valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record in compliance with agency vehicle-use requirements are required

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $30.40 - $43.75 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
