*Job Title:* Radiology Technician

Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Rad/CT Technologist) performs diagnostic radiographic and computed tomography examinations, including routine and complex procedures. The position is responsible for patient care, positioning, image acquisition, radiation safety, quality control, equipment operation, and maintaining accurate examination records. The technologist must be qualified in general radiology and CT and demonstrate sound clinical judgment when performing standard and nonstandard examinations.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare Systems.
Performs a variety of routine, complex, and nonstandard radiographic examinations.
Performs CT examinations in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Receives patients, explains procedures, assesses patient needs, and provides appropriate assistance throughout examinations.
Positions patients appropriately and selects the correct technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Calculates and applies appropriate exposure factors, including time, distance, kVp, and mAs.
Evaluates image quality and makes appropriate adjustments to positioning, compression, exposure, and image acquisition techniques.
Applies knowledge of anatomy and physiology when performing diagnostic examinations.
Uses appropriate radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to protect patients, staff, and self.
Performs required quality control procedures for assigned imaging modalities.
Performs digital radiology duties, including loading readers, transferring images to PACS, and electronically editing and annotating images.
Maintains and troubleshoots PACS, cassette readers, and other radiology information technology equipment.
Maintains accurate records of patient examinations, procedures, views obtained, technical factors, equipment, and radiation surveys.
Monitors patient vital signs and recognizes changes requiring appropriate intervention or notification.
Exercises independent judgment when adapting procedures for nonstandard patients or examinations.
Maintains required training and competency for assigned imaging modalities.
Participates in staff meetings and communicates updates, developments, and recommendations related to radiology services.
Assists with planning and coordinating daily radiology department operations.
Requisitions supplies and maintains adequate department inventory.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
Current ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist.
Minimum of 2 years of CT experience following CT certification.
Demonstrated competency in general radiography and CT.
Knowledge of radiographic and CT procedures, positioning, exposure techniques, anatomy, and radiation safety.
Knowledge of image quality standards and quality control procedures.
Experience with PACS and radiology information technology systems.
Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and resolve technical issues.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Compensation : $33–$36/hour
Schedule: M–Th 4x12 overnights OR Fri–Sun 3x12 overnights
Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour

The Physical Therapist serves as the Director of the Physical Therapy Department, overseeing daily clinical operations, staff, patient care, and departmental programs. This role provides leadership in treatment planning, quality improvement, staff development, and regulatory compliance while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services.
*Responsibilities:*
Oversee the daily clinical operations of the Physical Therapy Department
Supervise, train, develop, and evaluate Physical Therapy staff
Provide leadership in assessing, planning, directing, and coordinating departmental programs
Develop and manage departmental budgets while supporting cost containment
Develop, implement, and update departmental policies, procedures, standards, and protocols
Evaluate operational efficiency, quality of services, and patient outcomes
Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and analyze departmental systems and processes
Develop short- and long-term departmental plans consistent with organizational goals
Coordinate departmental programs and services with other healthcare departments
Develop staffing patterns, therapy guidelines, emergency protocols, and patient service processes
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, professional standards, HIPAA, CMS, and organizational policies
Provide guidance in patient assessment, treatment planning, and clinical care
Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain clinical competency
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient health outcomes
Develop and coordinate staff education, training, and professional development programs
Coordinate educational programs for students, therapist interns, medical staff, and community members
Ensure patients receive care consistent with individualized treatment plans and goals
Oversee equipment acquisition, maintenance, and proper functioning
Promote injury prevention, health education, and wellness programs for patients and families
Maintain accurate, confidential, and appropriate patient records
Support a positive patient experience while balancing quality care, cost outcomes, and patient satisfaction
Participate in continuing education to maintain current knowledge and clinical competency
*Qualifications:*
Degree or certificate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Valid, current, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Nebraska
Five (5) years of experience practicing as a Physical Therapist preferred, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with three (3) years of experience
One (1) year of experience managing a Physical Therapy clinic and staff preferred
Current CPR certification
Prior experience working with Indian Health Services (IHS), a Tribe, or Tribal Organization preferred
Strong knowledge of Physical Therapy principles, practices, techniques, and modalities
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and musculoskeletal systems
Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient care skills
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Knowledge of injury prevention, patient education, and culturally appropriate care
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, CMS, and organizational policies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
