Position: Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities:
Conducted health assessments and created personalized care plans for each resident.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
Monitor residents' vital signs and promptly address any changes in health status.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and person-centered care.
Assist in the development and implementation of wellness programs and activities.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and standards of professional nursing practice. The RN plays a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of residents by delivering high-quality, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing setting. This position includes supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), participating in care planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to promote optimal resident outcomes.
Responsibilities
Clinical Care
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on residents' individual needs, conditions, and goals.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following the "five rights" of medication administration and facility policies.
Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to physicians, nurse practitioners, and appropriate members of the care team.
Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, catheter care, intravenous (IV) therapy, medication administration, and other skilled nursing interventions within the RN scope of practice.
Respond to emergencies and significant changes in resident condition in a timely, professional, and effective manner.
Resident Monitoring & Documentation
Complete nursing documentation accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner, including assessments, progress notes, care summaries, and nursing observations.
Maintain and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Ensure accurate and complete Medication Administration Records (MARs) and Treatment Administration Records (TARs).
Document incidents, resident concerns, physician notifications, and changes in condition according to facility policy and regulatory requirements.
Leadership & Supervision
Supervise LPNs and CNAs by providing clinical guidance, support, delegation, and direction.
Delegate tasks appropriately based on staff competency, scope of practice, resident acuity, and facility needs.
Monitor assigned staff performance to ensure compliance with nursing standards, care plans, regulatory requirements, and facility policies.
Participate in orientation, training, competency validation, mentoring, and performance feedback activities as assigned.
Resident & Family Communication
Communicate resident care plans, progress, treatment outcomes, and changes in condition to residents, families, and responsible parties as appropriate.
Respond promptly, professionally, and compassionately to resident and family concerns.
Support residents' emotional, physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs while promoting dignity, respect, and independence.
Compliance & Safety
Follow infection prevention and control practices, safety protocols, emergency preparedness procedures, and resident rights policies at all times.
Maintain confidentiality and protect resident information in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing practice and long-term care operations.
Participate in audits, Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities, risk management initiatives, and emergency preparedness drills.
Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification preferred.
Regular and reliable attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment required.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Previous nursing experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or acute care settings preferred.
Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading nursing staff preferred but not required.
Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation systems.

Job Responsibilities
Clinical Care
● Provide high-quality urgent care for dogs and cats presenting with non-critical conditions.
● Perform diagnostics including radiography, cytology, point-of-care ultrasound, and
laboratory interpretation.
● Develop and communicate treatment plans clearly to clients and staff.
● Perform minor procedures such as laceration repairs, abscess management, sedation
for wound care, and other non-emergency interventions.
● Maintain a calm, solutions-focused approach in a walk-in urgent care environment.
Medical Documentation
● Produce clear, concise, and thorough medical records for every patient.
● Ensure documentation supports seamless transfer of care back to the patient’s primary
veterinarian the following morning.

Team Collaboration
● Work closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and the clinic manager to maintain

After-Hours Expectations
● Remain reachable by phone after the end of the shift (1am) for the overnight technician if

transferred to a 24-hour emergency hospital.

The Cardiovascular Center of Florida is seeking an experienced *CT Technologist* to join our advanced cardiac imaging team in a PRN capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled imaging professional who has extensive experience performing *cardiac CT examinations* and thrives in an independent, fast-paced specialty practice.
We are looking for a motivated self-starter who not only delivers exceptional patient care but also contributes to the continued growth and optimization of our CT program through workflow development, protocol standardization, and accreditation support.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform high-quality cardiac CT imaging, including:
* Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA)
* Coronary Calcium Scoring
* Peripheral CT Angiography and Runoff Studies
* Operate and optimize GE CT imaging systems.
* Establish and maintain IV access, including contrast administration, while following all safety protocols.
* Ensure optimal image quality while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
* Work independently while managing daily CT operations.
* Assist with developing and refining CT imaging protocols and departmental workflows.
* Support accreditation initiatives and quality improvement activities.
* Collaborate closely with cardiologists, radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff.
* Maintain compliance with all organizational, state, and federal regulations.
*Required Qualifications*
* Registered CT Technologist with appropriate ARRT certification.
* Current Florida State Licensure (if applicable).
* Current BLS Certification.
* *Minimum of 5 years of CT experience.*
* Extensive experience performing:
* Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA)
* Coronary Calcium Scoring
* Peripheral Runoff CT studies
* Extensive experience operating *GE CT platforms.*
* Advanced IV insertion and contrast administration skills.
* Strong knowledge of cardiac CT imaging protocols.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
* Comfortable assisting with accreditation readiness, protocol development, and workflow optimization.
* Ability and willingness to travel within Central Florida
* Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Prior experience in a cardiology or cardiovascular specialty practice.
* Experience participating in ACR and/or ICAEL accreditation processes.
* Previous involvement in quality improvement or departmental program development.
*Work Schedule*
* On-call Wednesday through Saturday
* Travel between our *Lake Nona, Dr. Phillips, and Clermont* locations is required based on operational needs.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing

* Perform periodontal charting and patient assessments
* Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
* Partner with the doctor and team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
