Summary:
MaineHealth is seeking an experienced and dynamic Speech and Language Pathologist with OP feeding experience to join our innovative new pediatric feeding team. The SLP in this role will be working with our most fragile pediatric patients in partnership with our growing multidisciplinary Complex Care program. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently in our Kennebunk clinic (with support from the MMC team) and will enjoy the challenge of building this exciting new service.
This position will report to our 4 Shape Dr. location in Kennebunk
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Speech-Language Pathologist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Certification in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred. Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver's License with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.

Able to assess patients, develop and adjust respiratory care plans, and manage complex patient needs within established standards and protocols.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities:
Education: Graduate of a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Care required. RRT certification required. Must have RRT certification to advance to a Level II. Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of start date. Current ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required by facility, or must obtain within one year of start date

Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating disorders related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
