At Nord’s Pharmacy & Gifts, *Hometown Caring* is more than a tagline. It’s how we have served Fosston and the surrounding communities for generations.
With one of our pharmacists preparing for retirement, we’re looking for the next pharmacist to join our team.
We’re looking for a pharmacist who values relationships. Someone who enjoys knowing their patients by name, working alongside a team that cares about one another, and being part of a community where your work truly matters.
Nord’s is an independently owned community pharmacy located in downtown Fosston, Minnesota. Our roots in the community go back to 1892, and while pharmacy has changed considerably since then, the heart of what we do has not.
We take care of our neighbors.
That may mean answering a medication question, helping someone navigate insurance, providing an immunization, coordinating medications for a family, working with a local provider to solve a problem, or simply taking a few extra minutes with someone who needs help.
Our pharmacy provides traditional community pharmacy services along with medication synchronization, immunizations, delivery and drive-thru service, medication reviews, and long-term-care pharmacy services.
*The pharmacist we're looking for*
We’re looking for someone who is:
* A licensed pharmacist
* Patient-focused and comfortable building long-term relationships
* Friendly, approachable, and a strong communicator
* Comfortable working collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, providers, and other members of our team
* Willing to jump in and help when needed
* Interested in practicing community pharmacy in an environment where patient care and good judgment matter
* Someone who wants to become part of the pharmacy, our team, and potentially the broader Fosston community
Experience is welcomed, but finding the *right person for our team* is just as important to us.
*Why Nord's?*
We know pharmacists have choices.
At Nord’s, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a locally owned pharmacy where you can actually know the people you care for and see the difference you make.
You'll also find:
*A strong, experienced pharmacy team*
You won't be doing this alone. Our pharmacists, technicians, clerks, and support staff work together to keep the pharmacy running well and take care of our patients.
*Variety in your practice*
In addition to traditional retail pharmacy, Nord's serves long-term-care patients and provides immunizations, medication synchronization, medication reviews, delivery, and other patient-care services.
*A pharmacy with deep community roots*
Nord’s has been part of Fosston for more than a century. Our patients aren't account numbers — they're neighbors, friends, families, coworkers, and people we see throughout the community.
*Small-town quality of life*
Fosston offers the kind of lifestyle that's getting harder to find: a welcoming community, good schools and healthcare, outdoor recreation, lakes nearby, and a place where a short commute really is a short commute.
*Compensation & Benefits*
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package and are willing to structure the position around the right candidate.
Benefits may include:
* Competitive pharmacist compensation
* Health insurance
* Retirement plan with employer contribution
* Paid time off
* Paid holidays
* Employee discounts
*Schedule:* Full Time
*Location:* Nord’s Pharmacy & Gifts, 115 Johnson Ave N, Fosston, MN
*Come practice pharmacy where you're part of the community.*
If you've been looking for an opportunity to get back to the part of pharmacy you enjoy most — caring for people — we'd like to talk with you.
Whether you're an experienced pharmacist looking for a change, a pharmacist considering a move back to northwest Minnesota, or a new graduate who likes the idea of independent community pharmacy, we encourage you to reach out.
Pay: $64.00 - $72.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week

* 401(k) matching
* Employee discount
* Health insurance
* Paid time off
