White Oak Dental is a well-established, privately owned family dental practice in Chaska, MN. We focus on long-term patient relationships and high-quality comprehensive care. Our office provides endodontics, oral surgery, Invisalign orthodontics, crown and bridge, implant restorations, and removable prosthodontics in a modern, fully digital environment.
We are seeking a skilled, dependable Dental Hygienist who is passionate about providing high-quality, comprehensive patient care. We value strong clinical judgment, patient education, preventive care, and the ability to recognize and appropriately manage each patient’s individual oral health needs.
Our office is a small, collaborative private practice where communication, teamwork, and creating a positive patient experience are important to us. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys building relationships with patients, and wants to be part of a supportive team.

Schedule (Full Time, In-Office)
* Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
* No evenings. No weekends.

Required Qualifications (Please review before applying)
* Active MN Dental Hygiene License (required)
* Current CPR Certification
* Completion of a Dental Hygiene Program
* Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
* Experience with diagnosing and treating periodontal disease
* Experience with digital radiographs and intraoral photography
* Comfortable running their own schedule, meeting new patients, and co-diagnosing dental treatment
Primary Responsibilities
* Perform routine dental cleanings (scaling and polishing) to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
* Take and develop dental X-rays in compliance with safety regulations.
* Assist the dentist in identifying oral health issues and developing treatment plans.
* Screen for signs of oral diseases, such as gum disease, cavities, or oral cancer.
* Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and diet.
* Administer fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth from decay.

* Provide competency based training to staff, teachers, family members, and others as necessary on the implementation of behavior programming, including current BIP and required data collection

* Assist staff to maintain a family home atmosphere and motivate to lead by example.
* Ensure compliance with all state, local, and funding source standards.
* Follow all safety procedures. Use safety procedures when moving individuals during behavioral crisis.
* Report all incidents of abuse/neglect in accordance with the Disabled Abuse Act to the abuse registry and train others to recognize abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
* Attend meetings and advocate for individuals to assist in the development of goals that are functional, obtainable, and chosen by the individual.
* Maintain communication and collaboration with, family members, social support systems, and service providers as appropriate.
* Attend, participate, and facilitate, as requested, Home-based services department meetings, required training, case reviews, staff meetings, and other meetings as requested. Self-monitor training records to ensure that all required certifications/validations are current. Check email account during each work day and respond to all communication promptly.
* Follow, model, and be able to train others in all Autism Therapeutic Services programs, policies and procedures.
* Available to parents, Senior Technician and staff by phone when there is an emergency or urgent need
* Support staff in meeting productivity requirements
* Write performance evaluations for Behavior Technician’s
*Qualifications*
* Master’s degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or related program.
* BCBA Certification and LABA Certification
* 2+ years of providing ABA services

This is a Part-Time position working 2 12-hours shifts per week, with every 4th weekend rotation.
Responsible for delegating appropriate nurse care responsibilities provided throughout the facility. Supervises and directs all aspects of patient care. Receives and documents all call-ins and reports this to appropriate department manager.
Makes rounds to all departments assuring support for patient care. Identifies and utilizes available resources within nursing, delegating as necessary.
Collaborate with nurses in Emergency Department, Surgery and Clinics for admissions and bed placements
Reviews all transfers forms for completion and compliance with EMTALA regulations, cosigns forms. Coordinates transfers based on patient acuity and available EMS.
Assists with tele-psychiatry consults and transfers.
Assists with tele-hospitalist services.
Assists with patient care in all departments, including ER. Responds effectively and appropriately in emergent or critical situations including MET calls and codes.
Lead daily house wide huddle to increase communication throughout hospital and participate in inpatient unit discharge huddles each day.
Reviews all patient falls during shift, and responsible for the completion of the post-fall huddles with staff and documentation of the huddle.

Monitors compliance with standards of care by observations, verbal reports and written documentation and communicates results to appropriate staff members; develops plan to increase compliance and implements actions to correct deficiencies during his/her shift and reports all to the CNO and/or Nurse Manager.
Makes rounds to receive report from unit nurses. Visits patients, paying special attention to critically ill, post-op, labor and those scheduled for diagnostic tests, being sure patient needs are being met.
Specifically assigns work to team members (RN/CNA and Patient Care Techs / Clerks). This may be patient care, writing a care plan, doing and documenting patient teaching, cleaning an area, preparing paperwork of anything else necessary for the functioning of the nursing unit.
Participates in and adheres to the financial plan of operation for the hospital; contributes to operating and capital budgets with recommendations for nursing service personnel. Is supportive of hospital policies and procedures for nursing and of the administrative staff and monitors overtime and keeps it to a minimum.
Continually evaluates the quality of care being provided for patients, recommends modifications and improvements as appropriate and enforces the same.
Serves as clinical coordinator for the entire hospital on off shifts, weekends, and holidays when the Nurse Managers aren’t on duty. Replaces nursing personnel to make certain areas are adequately staffed for all shifts. Checks the schedule daily for the next shift and utilizes low census when appropriate.
Accurately obtains medications from Pharmacy in the absence of Pharmacy personnel.
Constructively critiques work performed by professional and other non-professional personnel. Does not criticize staff in front of others. Keeps anecdotal notes on nursing personnel job performance and counsels’ personnel appropriately and in a timely manner; uses disciplinary action appropriately.
In addition to the functions above, this role may include other responsibilities and duties as assigned, based upon the needs or requirements of Knoxville Hospital and Clinics.

* Comfortable managing 2 patients concurrently, they should effectively multi-task and have good time management skills
* Someone who is motivated to grow with the practice and stay on in a longer-term capacity
* Licensed in the state of Vermont and insured with their own malpractice policy
