Midland Care’s hospice program also extends bereavement support to families after a loved one’s passing, ensuring ongoing care and guidance during their time of grief. The goal is to provide holistic, person-centered end-of-life care and support that honors each individual’s values and wishes.
RN Case Manager

SoCal Pet Vets is an independently owned small-animal hospital in City of Industry, California. We are looking for a veterinarian who values *good medicine, continuity, teamwork, flexibility, and a respectful long-term professional relationship*.
We are not simply looking to fill random shifts. Our goal is to find a veterinarian who would like to become a dependable part of the hospital, build lasting relationships with clients and patients, and work within a familiar team.
Our owner veterinarian has mentored and worked alongside associate veterinarians for many years and believes that a good professional relationship should provide *stability, flexibility, mutual respect, and room for individual medical judgment*.
The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and capable veterinarian for either:
* *Full-time employment*
* *A consistent part-time schedule of 2–3 days per week*
Our regular hospital hours are:
* *Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM*
* *Saturday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM*
We generally schedule *30-minute appointments* and also accommodate walk-ins, urgent cases, surgeries, and hospitalized patients depending on staffing and patient flow.
Some days are naturally busier than others. We do not believe veterinary medicine should be practiced according to an artificial patient quota. Our focus is on providing thoughtful care while maintaining a sustainable workflow for the doctor and team.
What You Can Expect
* Supportive veterinary technicians and nursing staff
* Approximately *95–97% paperless workflow*
* Tablets used throughout the hospital
* Digital medical records and diagnostics
* Opportunity for general medicine, surgery, urgent care, and hospitalized patient management
* Owner veterinarian available for consultation and backup
* Flexibility for vacations, personal commitments, and schedule needs
* Professional independence in medical decision-making
* A non-corporate environment with direct and personal communication
* Opportunity to develop a long-term role
Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive medical examinations
* Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
* Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
* Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
* Perform routine surgical procedures according to experience and comfort level
* Interpret laboratory and diagnostic findings
* Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, CSRs, and fellow veterinarians
* Participate in urgent-care and walk-in cases when appropriate
* Maintain accurate and timely medical records
* Contribute to a respectful, dependable, and patient-centered team environment
Qualifications
* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
* Current California veterinary license, or eligibility for California licensure
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to compassionate patient care
* Ability to work collaboratively with support staff and fellow veterinarians
Training and mentorship can be provided for veterinarians interested in developing these skills.
Compensation
We are open to structuring compensation according to the veterinarian’s experience, desired schedule, and professional goals.
For a full-time veterinarian, we anticipate a competitive annual salary in the range of *$150,000–$190,000*, with the potential for production-based compensation.
For veterinarians seeking a consistent part-time relationship, we are also open to discussing a guaranteed daily rate and/or production-based compensation.
Our goal is to create a compensation arrangement that is:
* fair to the veterinarian;
* sustainable for the hospital; and
* rewarding as the veterinarian’s production and role grow.
Benefits for Eligible Full-Time Employees
* 401(k)
* Paid time off
* Paid sick leave
* Employee pet-care discounts
* Continuing education / professional development assistance
* Flexible scheduling
* Production-based compensation opportunities
Why This Position May Be Different
We especially value veterinarians who prefer *continuity rather than constantly changing relief hospitals* and who appreciate becoming part of a familiar team.
We also understand that veterinarians have lives outside the hospital. A long-term working relationship should allow room for:
* family;
* vacations;
* personal commitments;
* professional interests;
* and reasonable flexibility when life changes.
We expect reliability, professionalism, good communication, and mutual respect. In return, we aim to provide a workplace where a veterinarian can practice good medicine, build genuine client relationships, and develop a meaningful long-term role.
For the right veterinarian, there may also be an opportunity to explore *future partnership within the hospital*.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
Benefits:
* Flexible schedule
* Professional development assistance
* Vision insurance
