viii. Assist with collection, labeling, and transportation of other laboratory specimens as necessary.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach frequently. Possesses physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs. Must be able to see, hear and speak with or without assistive devices. Must be able to lift 50 pounds during patient mobility occasionally and 25 pounds or less frequently utilizing proper body mechanics. Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone. Proficiency in executive function skills, including planning, organization, focusing attention, flexible thinking/problem solving, memory, self-monitoring, and juggling of multiple tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Under valid referral process, carries out an individualized program of physical therapy, including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and effective communication to maximize a patient’s progress toward achieving functional goals.
Provides direct patient care within scope of practice. Seeks excellence in practice by utilizing evidence-based or best practice techniques.
Has knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services. Is kind and welcoming to all, regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, or other factors.
Provides counseling to patients and patients’ families/caregivers about results of testing and recommended treatment options. Involves patients and families in goal setting and treatment decision making process.
Appropriate supervision of Physical Therapy Assistant, with regular and timely communication.
Appropriate use of Rehabilitation Aides.
Continuously monitors patients’ functional needs and progress, adjusting plan of care as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Clear, concise, and timely documentation including evaluation, plan of care, daily treatments, progress notes and discharge summaries.
Clear and timely documentation of other conversations with or regarding patients (e.g. telephone encounter to document any discussions with patients, providers, vendors, etc.)
Demonstrates integrity through compliance with insurance regulations, accountable billing procedures, judicious use of patient’s resources, and HIPAA rules.
Maintains good efficiency through effective use of downtime that occurs through patient no shows and/or cancellations.
Complies with hospital and departmental policies and procedures, Quality Improvement program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

Responsibilities:
Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
Promoting continuous quality improvement.
Teaching and counseling patients/families.
Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
Working cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
Participating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervising PT and PTA students.
Conducting individual patient therapy regimens.
Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions, as needed.
Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Seeking a talented RN to join our team in the Emergency Room (ER).
This position works under general supervision while assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care required to meet the needs of the patient.
Job duties include (but not limited to):
Performs complete patient assessments and communicates to the providers.
Documents and maintains accurate nursing records.
Functions as patient advocate between patient, physicians, other healthcare providers, administration, etc., as needed, and interacts professionally with patients and family members.
Initiates diagnostic, preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate to the patient's care and safety.
Administers medications to patients in accordance with approved standards of nursing knowledge and competency, based on age of patient, patient's clinical condition and physician orders.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred).
EXPERIENCE: Previous clinical experience in specific clinical unit preferred.

What You'll Do
As a BCBA, you will:
* Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
* Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans that promote meaningful, lasting outcomes.
* Provide supervision, mentorship, and ongoing training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BCaBAs.

Qualifications
*Required:*
* Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB.

* Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Indiana.
* Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
