*Job Summary*
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Provides educational information to patients in regard to injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy and rehabilitation therapy. Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment
*Essential Functions*
* Interacts professionally with patients/families; treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families
* Effectively and appropriately communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers, demonstrating customer service excellence through application of positive language principles, appropriate response and use of constructive problem-solving techniques which foster positive outcomes
* Ability to perform an appropriate assessment on all patients as related to the therapy requested and provided and reassessments as per policy. This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric patients and the general patient population
* Supervises and delegates the care provided by certified patient therapy assistants, therapy technicians, therapy aides, students, and other support personnel. Assesses competence, delegates specific tasks, and establishes channels of communication. according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards
* Administers treatment involving application of physical agent modalities using equipment, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines
* Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient
* Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modifications
* Plans, prepares, and carries out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients
* Formulates a teaching plan based upon identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning, family is included in teaching as appropriate
* Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires. Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress and plans for reevaluation
*Education*
* Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy, required
*Licenses/Certifications*
* Must have a current State Physical Therapy License
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire or transfer
*Experience*
* Able to maintain a high awareness of patient satisfaction and teamwork
* Attention to detail
* Adaptable to performing well under pressure in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
* Must be flexible, able to work as needed for appropriate departmental coverage

* Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of urgent and acute medical conditions (e.g., respiratory infections, minor injuries, gastrointestinal issues, urinary tract infections, etc.)

* Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and incision & drainage

Qualifications
Must have a current PT license (state-specific).

Valid BLS certification.
Minimum one year of PT experience (home health experience preferred).
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable and insured vehicle.
Ability to visit homes that may not be wheelchair accessible.
Sufficient hearing, eyesight, and dexterity to perform physical assessments and demonstrate care techniques.
Engage in physical activities such as walking, standing, stooping, and occasional lifting or turning of patients.
Proficiency with electronic medical records is a plus.

*ChildNet Youth and Family Services is currently seeking a Licensed Clinician / TBS Supervisor for our Behavioral Health Services Program located in Palm Desert, CA.*
Inland Empire Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Intensive Home-Based Services provides comprehensive services including Therapeutic Behavioral Support (TBS) services, mental health services, and support services for at-risk children and their families.
*This is a GREAT opportunity for newly licensed professionals including LMFT, LCSW or LPCC!* The TBS Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with the TBS and mental health programs. The position will conduct mental health and TBS supplemental assessments for at-risk children and their families and is responsible for coordination of treatment planning for TBS staff. The TBS Supervisor will also collaborate with the client’s caregivers, biological parents, teachers, etc., to maintain an interdisciplinary team approach for treatment purposes.
*TBS Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:*
* Conduct Therapeutic Behavioral Supplemental Medical Necessity and Level of Care Assessments, in addition to using clinical judgment, to determine the proper clinical care, treatment, and services for all TBS clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pharmacist Duties
Oversees the daily operations of the Pharmacy and pharmaceutical services (unit dose, controlled substances, IV admixtures, clinical services, investigational drug services, infusion pumps, purchasing and billing).
Oversees preparation and processing of chemotherapeutic medications and other prescription orders for primary and satellite facilities while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Opens and closes the Pharmacy and is responsible for activating and deactivating the Pharmacy alarm system.

Ensures compliance with all applicable safety and health regulations, policies and procedures. Complies with established personal protective equipment requirements necessary for protection against exposures to chemotherapeutic agents, blood and body fluids, other potentially infections materials, chemical disinfectants, and other hazardous substances.
Other Pharmacy Duties
Processes prescription orders.
Generates prescription labels.
Verifies accuracy of prescription labels.
Oversees preparation of prescriptions in the Pharmacy.
Verifies prescriptions are prepared correctly.
Reverifies prescription orders, labels and prepared prescriptions prior to delivery to the nursing unit.
Dispenses prescriptions to medical oncology nursing unit.
Enhances workflow by reviewing submitted prescription orders and processing and preparing orders to the extent appropriate and possible.
Maintains a safe and efficient working environment in the Pharmacy by maintaining a clean work area and following all regulations in accordance with regulatory agencies and Pharmacy policies.
Performs Pharmacy Technician duties as needed.

Maintains confidentiality in matters relating to all aspects of employment, including patient/family/significant other confidentiality.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science degree or Doctor of Pharmacy from accredited School of Pharmacy. Current licensure with the State of Illinois as a Registered Pharmacist. Must take EPIC training and successfully pass required tests.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Two to three years pharmacy experience. Prefer experience in a combined hospital/retail setting and/or experience in a physician practice or ambulatory setting. Prefer oncology pharmacy experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Knowledge of basic pharmacy medication order systems, pharmacy procedures and equipment, metric system, drug and medical nomenclature. Knowledge of most common drugs, oncology drugs, and their uses and usual doses. Knowledge and skills to prepare and dispense drugs and medications. Knowledge of safety precautions and procedures related to exposure to chemotherapy and hazardous substances, blood and other potentially infectious materials. Verbal and written English communication skills for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards. Eye, hand, and auditory coordination. Ability to operate office equipment, including telephones, PCs, copiers, facsimiles, etc. Ability to perform drug calculations, use pharmaceutical compounding equipment for compounding sterile and non-sterile products, interpret physician orders, maintain records and responsibility for controlled substances, maintain inventory of drugs and supplies. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work meeting time constraints. Ability to judge the appropriate action in response to changes, circumstances or problems. Ability to coordinate the work of others; work under pressure with time constraints, meet deadlines and work with frequent interruptions. Ability to maintain professional attitude at all times, function in a sometimes demanding and fast-paced work environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes and those who are dying. Ability to recognize obvious errors in the preparation or dispensing of pharmaceuticals and investigate for probable cause. Understands errors in processing, preparation or dispensing of pharmaceuticals may delay treatment of patients and/or cause adverse effects, including death. Qualifications:
Minimum requirements:
Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.

Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
Current state licensure is required.
ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)
