Our clinic is a growing, independent optometry practice dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care to families throughout Southeast Idaho. We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Associate Optometrist to join our award-winning team and help us continue expanding our dedicated Dry Eye Clinic.
This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist who enjoys caring for patients of all ages and would like to develop additional expertise in ocular disease and dry eye diagnosis treatments. We welcome both experienced optometrists and recent graduates.
*The Ideal Candidate*
Our ideal associate has excellent clinical skills, a warm chairside manner, and a genuine desire to build lasting relationships with patients. Candidates should be comfortable providing comprehensive care to pediatric, adult, and senior patients.
Experience in dry eye care is welcomed but not required. We are looking for someone who is excited to learn, grow, and help us continue developing this important area of our practice. Training, mentorship, and support will be provided to the right candidate.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide comprehensive eye examinations and medical eye care
* Diagnose and manage ocular conditions in patients of all ages
* Clearly and compassionately educate patients about their eye health
* Evaluate and treat dry eye disease using modern diagnostic and treatment options
* Create personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s individual needs
* Collaborate closely with our doctors, technicians, opticians, and administrative team
* Maintain accurate and timely patient records
* Help provide an exceptional patient experience at every visit
*Practice Support*
Our support team handles most of the administrative, technical, billing, and optical responsibilities surrounding each visit allowing our doctors to focus on patient care, clinical decision-making, and developing meaningful relationships with their patients.
Our team provides:
* Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient communication
* Insurance verification, prior authorizations, billing, and claim follow-up
* Patient histories, pretesting, diagnostic pre- testing, and room preparation
* Efficient patient flow and accurate electronic health record entry
* Follow-up coordination
* Eyewear and contact-lens ordering, dispensing, and patient education
* Credentialing, marketing, and practice-growth support
* Assistance developing specialty services, including dry-eye care, specialty contacts

Duties
* Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches.
* Complete clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

* Collaborate with healthcare providers, referral sources, schools, and community agencies when appropriate.

Requirements

As a Part Time Psychologist, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Colorado Springs, CO. The scheduled hours are 24hrs/week, Flexible two days a week, between Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
What You’ll Do
Utilize a strengths-based approach to assist clients to get, be, and stay well, in alignment with their values
Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families, if applicable
Interact with clients to assist in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment
Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, screeners, records, and reference materials
Conduct psychological assessments as needed
Utilize evidence-based intervention methods within scope of practice to meet needs of population. Common approaches at Premise sites might include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS
Counsel individuals regarding problems such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, to modify behavior or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment
Engage clients in collaborative discussion of treatment goals and desired outcomes
Participate as an active team member in the clinical care team. Duties may include consultation, case management, care coordination, and coordination of referrals
May require other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
Masters required, PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology strongly preferred and may be required depending on state or scope of practice
Requires an advanced degree and a license to practice clinical psychology
Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire
2-4 years of experience required
Must have prior experience in the field of treatment of mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, in adults and children
Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred
Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting
Experience identifying, preventing, and treating suicidal behaviors
Must have experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources

The Certified or Licensed Social Services Director is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating social services for patients and families in a Critical Access Hospital setting. *Education/Experience:*
· Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field required, unless otherwise defined by state licensure or certification standards.
· For Nebraska positions, the incumbent must hold and maintain a current credential in good standing through the [Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services](), as applicable to the scope of the role and the title used, such as [Certified Social Worker (CSW)](), [Certified Master Social Worker (CMSW)](), [Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP)](), or [Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP)]().
