This per diem Medical Receptionist position would primarily support our Pediatric Urgent Care Clinic in Tacoma at James Center, but would also allow you to pick up additional shifts and support our Pediatric Urgent Care Clinics in Gig Harbor and Olympia.Additional information about these three clinics can be found here:

Position Summary
The Medical Receptionist is the first in-person point of contact for a patient on behalf of the medical practice. They are responsible for all aspects of front office duties assigned by a clinic. Duties include variations of, receptionist duties—greeting patients, answering phones and directing calls, assisting patients/families; scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment posting, batch balancing, cash reconciliation/balancing, operating several types of basic office equipment, etc. This is an intermediate level position requiring excellent customer service skills. It is highly visible, requiring discretion, good judgment, a pleasant and professional manner and articulate phone voice. Internal and external contacts include patients, families, co-workers, physicians and the general public.Requirements
- Post high school office procedures preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six (6) months in a medical setting
- Customer service experience
- Degree or relevant Certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience

Position Summary
The Nurse Navigator RN is a multi-faceted opportunity providing comprehensive services to patients throughout our health care continuum. Working within hybrid roles of registered nurse, case manager and patient liaison, this dynamic role offers you the room to self-direct and prioritize.
As Nurse Navigator RN at MultiCare, you will utilize your advanced knowledge and specialized skill sets to oversee the clinical, quality and cost-effective outcomes of our patient population.
Responsibilities
- You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing
- basis
- You will engage your critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, including knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data
- You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to policies, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social background
- Track key quality metrics using nationally recognized benchmarks where applicable
- Lead care team initiatives to improve processes, and outcomes aligned with the quadruple aim: patient experience, population health, reduce costs, and clinician wellbeing
- Address non-clinical barriers by connecting patients with community services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or RN with 15+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement (Employees hired before 11/30/2025 will be exempt from this requirement)
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Certification specific to area of hiring, highly desirable. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Certified Case Manager (CCMC), Accredited Case Manager (ACMA), Care Coordination and Transition Management (AAACN), Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN), or similar.
- Three to five (3-5) years of recent clinical experience in area of specialty required
- Current BLS certification

Position Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist is an excellent opportunity to join our skilled Imaging/Radiology team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for MultiCare patients.

Requirements
- Graduate or graduation eligible within 6 months a formal ultrasound technology training program
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- If registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employment
- Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred
- Current BLS required

Provides clinical leadership and oversight of the MCI Urologic Oncology program. This person ensures high standards of care and compliance with medical guidelines. They work closely with the operational director in developing and implementing the overall services, operations and objectives. Position Summary
The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for the delivery of skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities, which requires the use of advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations. - Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program

Position Summary
The Mary Bridge Mental Health Clinician-SW II is responsible for assisting pediatric patients and their families in addressing the social, psychological, developmental and economic impacts of illness, injury and chronic disease. As part of an interdisciplinary team, and to promote optimal health outcomes, the MHC-SW completes comprehensive assessment and provides support and resources to identify and intervene regarding patient/family needs related to: mental health, trauma, environmental and caregiver safety; child abuse and neglect; trauma; grief and loss; adjustment to injury/illness; food, shelter and other basic needs; education and developmental needs, and parenting resource needs.The MHC-SW joins with patients and their families in identifying solutions to problems that serve barriers as to disease management. The PHP-SW partners with physicians, schools, law enforcement, Children’s Administration, community mental health providers and other service providers in the community to ensure well-coordinated care across the health care continuum.

Position Summary
Physician participating in the care of inpatient obstetrical patients, including but not limited to coverage for labor and delivery and postpartum patients, obstetric emergencies, and triage.Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive obstetric care for patients presenting in labor, including evaluation, management, and delivery. • Respond to obstetric emergencies and perform necessary surgical interventions, including cesarean sections. • Manage obstetric triage and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely and appropriate care. • Serve as the attending physician for unassigned patients and support private-practice physicians as needed. • Ensure continuity of care by communicating effectively with outpatient providers and consulting services. • Prescribe and administer medications or therapies to treat disease or injury. • Order radiologic imaging or labs as indicated. • Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Position Summary
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) provides comprehensive primary care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. In collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, the PNP delivers preventive, acute, and chronic care services. The Patient Access Technician (PAT) is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for ensuring accurate patient admission and registration. This intermediate-level clerical position will allow you to apply your professional service-orientation, good judgment and independent thinking in your daily work functions.

- You will assure complete and accurate patient admissions/registrations according to organization policy and procedures and regulatory requirements
- You will obtain inpatient bed assignments and processes inpatient admission, including arm banding, addressograph plate, and completion of necessary forms
- You will pre-admit all scheduled inpatient, outpatients and ambulatory patients to facilitate a smooth and speedy admission/registration process
- You will obtain direct admit information and enter a reservation in the computer system in order to notify other areas
- You will complete comprehensive bedside or telephone interviews with the patient, relative, or their representative to obtain pertinent demographic insurance and/or third-party liability information
- You will perform eligibility verification and resolves any discrepancies, determine the need for financial assistance recommendation and application, referring to the Financial Counselor where necessary

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) provides comprehensive primary care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. Position Summary
The inpatient psychiatric ARNP is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and directing treatment for adult patients with psychiatric disorders admitted to acute inpatient level of care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients 18 years or older with acute psychiatric disorders requiring inpatient hospitalization
- Conduct suicide and violence risk assessments
- Formulate and implement comprehensive and evidence-based treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
- Order laboratory tests as indicated
- Manage acute behavioral emergencies with behavioral and pharmacologic interventions
- Lead treatment team meetings and coordinate activity of the interdisciplinary team, including primary care providers, social workers, RNs, and other team members
- Consult with primary care providers and other clinicians to facilitate evaluation and treatment of medical conditions

The inpatient psychiatric ARNP is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and directing treatment for adult patients with psychiatric disorders admitted to acute inpatient level of care.Responsibilities • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients 18 years or older with acute psychiatric disorders requiring inpatient hospitalization • Conduct suicide and violence risk assessments • Formulate and implement comprehensive and evidence-based treatment plans • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications • Order laboratory tests as indicated • Manage acute behavioral emergencies with behavioral and pharmacologic interventions • Lead treatment team meetings and coordinate activity of the interdisciplinary team, including primary care providers, social workers, RNs, and other team members • Consult with primary care providers and other clinicians to facilitate evaluation and treatment of medical conditions • Collaborate with Social Workers and Court Evaluators to assess readiness for discharge and formulate discharge plans • Document in the electronic medical record Requirements • A graduate degree from an advanced nursing education program accredited by a national nursing accreditation body recognized by the United States Department of Education. • An active Washington state RN license, without sanctions or restrictions • State NP license • Current CME hours to maintain licensure • Adult/Gerontologic Psychiatry and/or Lifespan Certification of Completion from the American Nurse Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners • Registration capability with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services • An active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Position Summary
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) provides comprehensive primary care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. In collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, the PNP delivers preventive, acute, and chronic care services. This role emphasizes evidence-based practice, population health management, and quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes within our children’s hospital network.Responsibilities Direct Patient Care • Conducts comprehensive assessments including risk assessment to diagnose conditions and recommend plans of care for a cohort of patients • Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based guidelines within scope of practice • Refers to specialists when necessary • Participates in the coverage for clinic colleagues per departmental guidance • Participates in after-hours call coverage per departmental guidance • Timely and accurate documentation, inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care Population Health and Clinical Quality • Ensures comprehensive primary care for a population including risk assessment, preventive care and oversight for optimal management of chronic conditions including the cardiovascular- kidney- metabolic syndrome. • Utilizes data and risk stratification to identify high risk patients to prioritize outreach and gap closure defined by best evidence • Supports transitions of care and reduced re-admissions and ED use • Proactively participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and care outcomes • Supports proactive outreach to populations at greatest risk • Multidisciplinary Team Care • Participates in team meetings Citizenship • Demonstrates the MultiCare values of compassion, stewardship, kindness, joy collaboration and respect • Adheres to MultiCare policies and processes Requirements • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) with Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specialization • Current and unrestricted Washington State APRN license • National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-BC or CPNP-PC/AC) • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required • Proficiency with Epic preferred
