Perioperative Service PerfusionJob Summary:
Responsible for setup, priming and overall preparation, calibration and troubleshooting of heart/lung machine and extracorporeal circuitry for open heart procedures. Under direct supervision of a licensed perfusionist, provides assistance during elective or emergent cardiac procedures as prescribed by the attending cardiovascular surgeon. Acts as a resource person for perfusion and medical personnel during clinical procedures requiring clinical perfusion support..

Perioperative Blood Management Technologist (PBMT) Certification
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all stages (pre-, peri-, and post-) of Cardiopulmonary bypass assistance.
• Provides independent clinical services for cardiac and/or non-cardiac intraoperative autotransfusion blood salvage.
• Teaches, mentors and/or acts as a resource to the Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology (CVPT) students during their clinical rotations and/or instructs the students didactically.
• Participates in inventory management of perfusion supplies and other ancillary perfusion service responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Perfusionist.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

This clinic provides specialized facial plastic and reconstructive surgical care for patients with a wide range of aesthetic and functional conditions affecting the face and neck. Working within a nationally recognized academic medical center, the provider evaluates and treats concerns such as cosmetic conditions of the nose, ears, and face, facial paralysis, nasal obstruction, scar revision, and synkinesis. The practice offers comprehensive, patient-centered care through collaboration with multidisciplinary specialists, advanced diagnostic technologies, and innovative surgical techniques. Services include cosmetic and reconstructive procedures such as rhinoplasty, otoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelift surgery, corneal neurotization, Botox injections, dermal fillers, and other facial rejuvenation treatments.

• Partners with clinical care staff and providers to ensure all regulatory requirements are met to maintain patient care needs, program guidelines and/or required accreditation standards.
• Acts as a point of access for patients, referring providers and the Vanderbilt community.

• Manage external referrals from spokes/community and screen for eligibility, placement, and scheduling

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides support to speech language pathologists and audiologists through collection of data, assisting with researching topics, transportation of patients or other patient care support services.

NICU Cohort 12Job Summary:
The NICU Chronic Complex Care Unit allows you to be a part of providing exceptional care to our most fragile babies. This is a 15-bed technology dependent NICU unit in which you would work as a team to provide specialized family centered care to former pre-term infants that are less than 2 years old who require chronic airway or respiratory support in a compassionate and caring manner. This is a high acuity unit where you may manage several drips. Also, infants may have BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and/or congenital malformations of the large airways of the lungs.Our NICU was founded in 1961 by Mildred Stahlman, MD, the Vanderbilt NICU was one of the first specialized hospital programs in the world created exclusively for the care of preterm infants. Vanderbilt has remained at the forefront of medical care for babies needing intensive care ever since.
We are a level IV tertiary care NICU that attends to the complex care needs of more than 1400 fragile newborns per year.

As a Pediatric Audiology Assistant, you'll work directly with Audiologists to assist with patient visits, prepare testing areas, support hearing evaluations, and help create a positive experience for children and their families. Join Vanderbilt Health's Pediatric Audiology team in an entry-level healthcare support role focused on helping children and families during hearing evaluations.
As a Pediatric Audiology Assistant, you'll work directly with Audiologists to assist with patient visits, prepare testing areas, support hearing evaluations, and help create a positive experience for children and their families. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a difference in healthcare without pursuing a licensed clinical position.

Assist Audiologists during pediatric hearing evaluations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides support to speech language pathologists and audiologists through collection of data, assisting with researching topics, transportation of patients or other patient care support services.

Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards.The Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurse provides hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to patients under the direction of a wound care provider (physician or APP). The HBOT nurse is responsible for operating a monoplace hyperbaric oxygen chamber, monitoring chamber function and patient response to therapy during each dive, intervening to improve patient condition or avoid harm, and upholding all protocols and safety standards. They will work within the service's scope of practice and collaborate with other relevant disciplines.

- WOUND CARE & THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT (Intermediate): Provides fundamental wound care, dressing changes, and supports multidisciplinary treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practice
- SAFETY & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE (Intermediate): Ensures adherence to UHMS and institutional safety standards; maintains readiness of equipment and participates in safety drills and quality initiatives.

Position Highlights
- Hours are Monday - Friday 6:45am - 3:15pm.
- No weekends, no nights, no call and no holidays.
- The sign-on bonus is not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past twelve months. The sign-on bonus is only available for full-time positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Decontaminates and cleans instruments for the operating room.
- Assembles instrument sets to be used in procedures.
- Sterilization of instruments.
