6PM - 6AM Rotating Weekends.
Pay Range:
$25.30 - $37.95Essential Functions
- Appropriately and effectively intervenes when unruly, abusive, combative, threatening, or armed persons are encountered.
- Apprehend and arrest individuals for criminal activity.
- Complete investigations of any criminal activity occurring within assigned jurisdiction, make arrests, and process criminal defendants as per applicable state criminal proceedings.
- Respond to routine and emergency calls for assistance. Complete uniform incident reports and other assigned documentation.
- Assist teammates with and serve as subject matter expert in criminal process.
- Communicate in a calm, factual, objective, and courteous manner with all persons with whom communication or collaboration are necessary. Coordinates and communicates with community police agencies as appropriate.
- Provide armed response to any imminent situation that threatens the life or safety of anyone on Advocate Health property.
- Prepare criminal cases for court proceedings, attend court, and testify in criminal proceedings.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to hear clearly and communicate clearly with others
- Ability to run, and exert intense physical effort in moving, controlling, or restraining combative subjects
- Possess close and intermediate visual acuity
- Spends majority of time standing or walking with a reasonable amount of bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching

Education, Experience and Certifications
- License/Registration/Certification: General Law Enforcement Certification
- Issued by (Governing Body): applicable state Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards (or ability to transfer laterally)
- Level of Education: Basic Law Enforcement Training
- Field of Study (if applicable): Criminal Justice
- Years of Experience: 2 (preferred)
- Describe Type Experience: General law enforcement or public safety experience (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and respond calmly in complex, stressful situations
- Knowledge of and ability to apply federal, state and local criminal statutes and case law
- Knowledge of criminal process
- Demonstrate proficiency with a firearm to meet Advocate Health and applicable state standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable state General Law Enforcement Certification
- Ability to perform under stressful, emergency conditions
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to pass rigorous background check, polygraph and/or psychological testing
- Ability to pass Advocate Health mandated Taser, CPI, and self-defense training

Pay Range:
$20.80 - $31.20- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Six months of related experience preferred.
- LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Current BLS certification required. Complete high-level disinfection (HLD) training with first three months of employment with annual renewal.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Operates all department equipment in designated decontamination areas and promptly reports issues to the Assistant Nurse Manager of Endoscopy. 2. Performs manual and/or automated decontamination of scopes and other instruments. 3. Inspects scopes and instruments to ensure cleanliness and proper functionality. 4. Assembles scopes and instruments into proper carrying containers according to procedure room needs. 5. Packages special instruments according to manufacturer's instructions. 6. Performs required decontamination and verifies adequacy of the process. 7. Maintains documentation of decontamination processes utilizing Endora system. 8. Stores scopes and other instruments in identified location. 9. Collects instruments for special sterilization, delivers to the specific areas for sterilization, and picks up instruments post sterilization process for storage or immediate use in the Endoscopy unit. 10. Participates in the department's monthly meetings and educational training opportunities. 11. Assists other team members as needed, such as delivery of specimen to the pathology laboratory area and other errands assisting workflow and patient throughput. 12. Protects self, coworkers, and facility by following policies and procedures concerning the prevention of spreading blood borne and or airborne contaminates/diseases. 13. Exhibits competency in assisting general endoscopic procedures within the Endoscopy unit, at the patient?s bedside in critical care, and in OR such as EGD, colonoscopy, specimen collection, snares, biopsy forceps, and dilations.
- SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient communication skills Ability to operate equipment such as Endora tracking system, Medivators, Dri-scope, Veriscan, Scope Buddy, and other devices related to scope decontamination and disinfecting of other instruments Knowledge of instrument IFU?s, care/disposal of solutions in use in the decontamination room, and scope/scope cabinet cleaning schedules Ability to show competency in scope handling during general GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, use of snares and biopsy forceps, dilation procedures, and assistance in doing travel GI cases in critical care.

Where You Will Work: Atrium Health Albemarle Oncology Infusion offers full chemotherapy and laboratory services are delivered in a relaxing environment
by highly trained and qualified staff.
Patients receive treatment in comfortable recliners, under a soft blanket fresh from the warmer if they wish. The infusion areas are furnished with TVs, and refreshments are offered to the patients.

What You Will do:
- Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, nursing service administration and delivery of care in the department
- Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel in the department
- Assists with coordination of communication at regular intervals throughout shifts via staff meetings/huddles to exchange information/ promote dialogue with teammates
- Collaborates with manager to ensure understanding and compliance with federal and state laws, to include healthcare services and practice, while complying with all required regulations and policies
- Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians at prescribed frequencies to gain insight into patient care, employee, and physician satisfaction and appropriateness of patient care and/or department operations
- Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with applicable legal or policy parameters or principles

What we're looking for:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
- Minimum two years of Oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Previous management experience
- BSN required.
- RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
- BLS required per policy guidelines. Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam.

$24.10 - $36.15Major Responsibilities:
- Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting/updating pertinent health information (i.e. chief complaint, allergies, medications).
- Performs laboratory procedures (i.e. strep test, wound culture, specimen collection, etc.) using principles of aseptic technique and standard precautions / infection control guidelines.
- Assists the physician/provider with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams, allergy scratch testing, EMG, cautery, colposcopy, etc.
- Administers medications, under physician/provider orders, including: immunizations, antibiotics, pain medications, vitamins, topical agents, and insulin. With limitations, initiates, maintains and discontinues IV therapy; administering selected fluids with pre-mixed medications.
- Provides basic patient education on the performance of tasks, skills, treatment and self-care. Follows through with necessary procedure or test requests, prescription refills, new appointment times and referrals to other facilities or services. Refers questions to registered nurses and physicians/providers per scope of practice guidelines and relays information back to patient as directed.
- Communicates with physicians and other members of the health care team. Documents and communicates accurate and timely information regarding patient conditions.
- Performs advanced clinical tasks or skills such as removal of sutures and staples, catheterization, audiograms, laboratory procedures (throat/nose culture, drug screen, phlebotomy - butterfly, venous access, heel stick), EKG, spirometry, Holter monitor application, casting, complex wound care, etc., with demonstrated competency and under clinical supervision.
- Organizes and prepares exam rooms, lab and work areas including: cleaning, stocking, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment. Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.
- Completes routine maintenance and quality monitoring of clinic equipment using appropriate technique when cleaning, sterilizing and caring for instruments and other equipment.
- Participates in patient centered initiatives, care management, performance and quality improvement activities.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Certification / Registration / License
- Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.
- Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services

Physical Requirements

In this role, you will create a consistent and scalable approach to capturing teammate feedback, oversee listening channels and survey platforms, and ensure high-quality data and governance. You will partner across the enterprise to position insights for action and meaningful impact.
About This Opportunity
The Experience Listening Strategy & Design Manager serves as the operational and functional leader for enterprise listening programs. This role connects strategy, platforms, governance, data quality, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination to deliver a seamless listening experience across surveys, lifecycle listening, focus groups, and emerging feedback methods.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning and execution of the enterprise listening strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, integrated channels, and a consistent, scalable approach to capturing teammate feedback.
- Oversee the deployment and ongoing management of enterprise listening channels, including surveys, lifecycle listening, focus groups, and emerging feedback methods, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience.
- Serve as the functional owner of enterprise survey platforms by establishing and maintaining governance standards for survey design, access, permissions, data quality, and system configuration.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of listening data across all channels by managing validation processes, quality checks, and the continuous improvement of data standards.
- Prepare and deliver structured datasets, dashboards, and standardized outputs that enable downstream analysis, reporting, and insight generation across the enterprise.
- Establish and maintain enterprise listening governance, including standards, processes, and operating rhythms that support consistency, compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, HR Centers of Excellence, and cross-functional teams to align listening efforts with enterprise strategy and position insights for action and impact.
- Manage listening vendor platforms and relationships, including governance and configuration, to support performance, optimization, and alignment with long-term strategy and enterprise capability needs.
- Monitor participation, representation, and signal quality across listening channels, identify gaps, and drive improvements that support equitable and actionable feedback collection.
- Continuously improve listening capabilities by integrating new methods, technologies, and best practices to enhance scalability, effectiveness, and alignment with evolving organizational needs.
What You’ll Bring
Education

- Five or more years of experience in program management, survey operations, or enterprise listening programs.

- Experience working in healthcare or multi-site systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Supervises and coordinates hospital activities with emphasis upon communications, patient throughput, patient experience, rounding for quality, safety and operational efficiency, performance improvement activities, service recovery, and compliance with regulatory requirements interacting with nursing and hospital teammates in daily operations. Essential Functions
- Communicates administrative problems and actions taken to the respective nurse leader, Administrator-On-Call when appropriate, and/or the appropriate senior administrative leader Rounds on all units to assess overall efficiency and productivity and gain insight into patient care, teammate, and physician satisfaction and appropriateness of patient care.
- Guides the staff in understanding and compliance with state and federal laws concerning healthcare services and practice, compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, and company policies and procedures
- Assists with coordination of communication at regular intervals throughout the shifts via huddles, rounds, or other types of meetings to exchange information and promote dialogue
- Assists with appropriate utilization of resources to meet patient care needs
- Supervises the performance of nursing personnel, identifies problems, initiates corrective action, and communicates/provides documentation of actions/investigative findings to the appropriate department manager, Nurse Leader and/or the Administrator-On Call
- Provides advice and assistance to nurses in administering new or unusual treatments or medications, interprets policies and procedures for teammates, patients/families, and visitors, and responds and assists with emergencies
- Coordinates shift management of patient flow/throughput including participation with patient placement meetings/huddles or other departmental meetings to accommodate and plan for new admissions/transfers throughout the shift as well as working with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate timely admissions and discharges

- Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
- Assists patients/residents with personalhygiene.

- Feeds and ambulates patients/residents according to specificprocedures.

- Assists with clerical work such as, including answering phones, entering data andmaintaining medicalrecords.

- Performs duties as outlined in the scope of Nurse Aide I (per applicable state Board of Nursing Nurse Aide I TasksList).
- Perform technical tasks with appropriate training such as administering a 12-Lead Electrocardiogram test and routinevenipuncture.
- Trained in the following additional tasks, as outlined by the applicable state Board of Nursing (NCBON) Nurse Aide I+4 process:

- Oxygen Therapy
- Peripheral IV Fluids
- Urinary Catheter

Physical Requirements
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stretching, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak and understand English in good understandable terms. Must have manual and finger dexterity. Physical abilities testing required.
Education, Experience and Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED required for new hires on or after 7/22/2018.
- Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support HealthCare Provider certification.
- Nurse Aide I+4 Course required: E-learning and instructor-led skills practice.
- Required observation activities.
- Must be validated twice by an RN on each skill before they can perform independently.

Job Description
Where You Will Work:
The 8T Mother Baby Nursing Unit features 36 private patient rooms designed to accommodate couplets—mothers and their newborns. The MBU also features a newborn nursery for newborns requiring continued medical care after maternal discharge and infants whose mothers are transferred to other units within the Women’s Division.
This unit provides comprehensive obstetrical care to females across the lifespan—serving a diverse, multicultural patient population. Inpatient care is delivered 24 hours a day, typical patients include postpartum mothers and their newborns following vaginal or cesarean deliveries, with or without complications. Newborns are generally stable but may require additional interventions such as various blood tests, glucose monitoring, car seat testing for late pre-term and phototherapy for jaundice. Before discharge, all newborns receive hearing screenings and state-mandated newborn screenings. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:3-4 couplets, ensuring attentive and personalized care.
Expectations We’re Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
- At least 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.
