Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lead Food Service Worker to lead daily kitchen and dining operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food service, committed to high standards, and capable of inspiring a team to deliver exceptional, resident-focused service. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee food service operations, including meal preparation, presentation, and service
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Monitor quality and timeliness of meal service
- Help create a restaurant-style dining experience with elegant meal options
- Ensures dishware, silverware, and equipment is ready for use prior to the opening of the cafeteria
- Assures all cleaning assignments are completed and documented
- Acts as a Lead Employee to co-workers in the absence of their immediate supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service supervision or management preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification preferred but not required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment

1. MEDICATION DISTRIBUTION
Decentralized
- Process “missing dose” and continuous infusion next bag requests
- Morning (24hr) patient specific distribution
- Intermittent Infusions-Deliver IVMB to patient specific bins/organize so bags are removed by time
- Review refrigerated medications daily for outdates and short dated medications
- Quarterly wipe-down of medication refrigerator interior on assigned units
- Utilize census to move medications appropriately for Admissions, Discharges and Transfers.
- Empty tubes/deliver to Pyxis/Medroom/RN (stat and urgent doses)
- Return extra tubes to system
- Liaison to pharmacy for missing doses/medication related issues
- Monitor patient own meds and assure proper handling
- Maintain neat and tidy med rooms, including refrigerators on the units covered
- Assist with Pyxis drawer failures, alert patient care services to discrepancies, load medications
- Appropriately handle incoming phone calls
2. INVENTORY

- Maintain adequate levels of drugs and supplies for assigned area (floor stock par levels, vaccines, etc). • Maintains an adequate level of emergency drug boxes
- Completes daily check of narcotic lock boxes on assigned nursing units
- Performs monthly narcotic inventory in Pyxis cabinets of assigned nursing units
3. ORDER and REPORT PROCESSING, RECORD KEEPING
Decentralized
- Assist with Transport Kit/Emergency Kit logs
- Processes daily reports accurately and in a timely manner
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- National certification by PTCB or NHA required
- Valid New York State Pharmacy Technician Registration required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to perform arithmetic calculations including fractions, decimals, multiplication and division
- Two years pharmacy and computer experience preferred
- Relevant health care related experience preferred
Pay Range: $21.00 - $27.85

The observation unit with expected LOS of 24 hours or less. Admissions from the ED. Will also function as a discharge lounge if OBS admissions are low. In peak census times, may function as a rapid admission unit from the ED to decompress the ED pending bed availability on M/S units. Will work closely with Hospitalist and CM/UM assigned to unit.

What you will do:
- Deliver care, including assessing needs, planning and meetings the needs of patients in the Observation/Clinical Decision Unit for fast paced, frequent patient turn over.
Responsibilities:
- The RN is responsible for assessing the needs of each patient where assigned
- Planning the nursing care needed, including spiritual, emotional and physiological needs. Once planned, the RN is responsible for seeing that the plan of care is carried out through performance and or leadership of supervised personnel and that the plan of care is evaluated
- The RN is directly accountable to the Nurse Manager for the quality of patient care delivered
- The RN modifies and delivers care that is specific to the age, growth and development of patients according to the unit scope of services
- When serving in the charge role, the RN is responsible for clinical and leadership functions, for assessing the needs of each patient and planning the nursing care needed to meet those needs
What you will need:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
- ASN required, BSN preferred from an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurses must possess the ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate patient care
- The RN must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written
- Minimum 1 year of RN Acute experience

B. MENTAL/VISUAL/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

C. PATIENT SENSITIVITY:
The position of the Manager requires the supervision of staff who provide care to patients.
D. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
The Manager requires graduation from a recognized program in professional nursing and a current New York State license. A baccalaureate in nursing is required and 3 years of relevant nursing experience with documented leadership ability. Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, NRP & C-EFM.
E. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
The Manager position requires a broad base of knowledge related clinical specialization, human resource management, fiscal management, customer relations and performance improvement techniques.
F. PROBLEM-SOLVING:
The Manager position has responsibility and authority for decision making with the area of accountability. The Manager works with many internal and external customers to problem solve. The manager will communicate with the Director with updates on the department changes.
G. INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
The Manager is expected to standardize and develop policies for areas of responsibility; a moderate degree of formal and informal marketing is involved with public presentations as needed.
H. PLANNING:

The Registered Professional Nurse works within and contributes to an environment where the St. Peter's Healthcare Services mission is actualized, patient outcomes are achieved, and professional practice is realized.
Responsibilities:
Brings patient to exam room, takes appropriate vital signs and documents in electronic medical record.
Review and update medication list to ensure accurate and complete list in electronic medical record (EMR) available for provider review and submission.
Complete referrals and tracks patients' compliance.
Review prescriptions electronically and send prescriptions to providers for review and submission.
Obtains patient consent for procedures as directed by provider.
Performs pre-visit planning and reviews quality metrics.
Retrieves telephonic clinical information from patients who call into the office.
Monitors task list and completes tasks assigned by provider in a timely manner based on urgency.
Educates patients regarding medication, testing procedures and home care techniques.
Ensure proper labeling, handling and documentation for patient specimens.
Follow up with patient regarding test results based on advice given by provider.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment including disinfecting patient care areas and equipment.
In conjunction with other nursing colleagues, maintains the medical supply cabinet and drug cabinet.
Uses the electronic medical record to communicate effectively.
Performs quality assurance duties as assigned.
Provides a clinical visit summary (Patient Plan) to patient as requested including educational materials.
Participates in daily Patient Care huddles as appropriate.
Works cooperatively with all colleagues to ensure quality patient care at all times.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
HS Diploma/equivalent required
Current unencumbered NYS RN license
Basic Life Support certification
6 months previous RN experience
Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
Pay Range: $36.00 - $47.50
Pay is based on experience and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

What you will do:
Under the supervision of the physician, provides direct care and performs selected functions for orthopedic patients of all ages in accordance with established policies and procedures. Position may require working at either campus or alternate sites. The DME Coordinator will be responsible for managing the inventory, fitting, training, and billing of orthopedic DME supplies, as well as applying and removing casts and splints.
Responsibilities:
The DME Coordinator’s tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Fit and educate patients on the use of orthopedic DME, including braces, walkers, boots, and supports.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed while consistently reviewing market value for best cost.
• Maintain strong relationships with outside vendors and within the trinity system.
• Ensure accurate documentation of DME dispensed in the patient medical record.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorization when required.
• Work with billing staff to ensure accurate coding and charge capture for DME while performing quarterly audits.
• Maintain compliance with Medicare and third-party payer regulations regarding DME.
• Apply, remove, and adjust orthopedic casts, splints and braces under physician direction.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper cast care, precautions, and follow-up instructions.
• Monitor and report any complications related to bracing or casting.
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies to maintain hygienic standards.
• Deliver equipment to the patient's hospital room if required and provide education on equipment usage, fall risk prevention, financial obligations and provide all appropriate documentation for patient review and signature.
What you will need:
Education:
High school diploma or GED;
Completion of an accredited program associated with license (LPN, RN, ATC, Orthopedic R.S.A)
License in the applicable state(s) of engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ Years of experience in an Orthopedic setting
- Cast and splinting experience.
Pay Range: $22.25 - $ 32.30
